I would normally never write a review to a McDonalds anywhere, is that people assume they are all just about the same. Well I tell you this, different ownership + different workers + different cleanliness + different cook styles = having a burger at one place that is fantastic, and having one that is terrible at another. This McDonalds on a scale of 1-10 after eating here probably 10 times in 4 years ranks as follows. Very bad service ordered Uber eats and waited 40 minutes for my food. Employee called from ubers phone and had said Uber had already confirmed my order and they had already given my food to 2 people. Never got my food. Employee of McDonald's was very rude and said she couldn't remake my order because she's already done it 2 times already and "that she has done her job already" she could have just remade it and given to the nice Uber guy so he could have delivered it too me. read more

I originally put two stars for my review but after having to go in the restroom, I'd give this McDonald's 0 stars. I go to this location for work purposes and this being my third time here, I'm not a fan. The first time was in the drive-thru. Though all of the items were correct, it was painfully slow. The second time, I went in and ordered at the register. I waited for quite a awhile until someone came up to take my order. The cashier was not friendly at all. When we got our food, I noticed they forgot a kid's toy in the kid's meal box. They questioned me "are you sure?" and didn't believe me. Thankfully kids are honest and look sad when they don't get toys in their kid's meals so she finally believed me and apologized for forgetting. There is also a HUGE language barrier here, some employees don't speak English and they get annoyed with me when they don't understand. Third time (today), they forgot the chicken nuggets. I was legit told "no" as if they didn't forget and they looked in my bag. I asked for sauce with it and they said they put the sauce in the kid's meal box. Not to mention, the quarter pounder meat was cold. To top it off, I had to take the child I nanny for into the women's restroom. One stall had overfilling grossness in the toilet. The other stall was better but had toilet paper all over the floor and the changing table was down and slightly dirty. There was no toilet paper in that stall so I had to go back to the nasty one to get more. I'm baffled by this McDonald's and how it's kept up. I definitely don't trust eating here. read more

I am so disappointed. How can you have someone scoop ice from an open container - or whatever you store the ice in?! I watch as they touch everything under the sun and grab a cup- holding it with fingers inside the cup and scooping ice before filling with soda. I tried three (3) times with different employees --each one handled it the same way -- was NO fluke. I'm done. Who knows what is going on out of my line of site. This is so dirty and DISGUSTING! I prefer to NOT have the many germs that carried from each workers hands (who knows how many workers had hands in it) onto the ice - and into everyone's drinks. Went at 6:45am this morning and waited at drive through and no one answered. Doors were locked. They also close before their schedule. On weekends drive thru closes at like 11. I have never had such a bad McDonalds Experience ever. First off, I tried to walk into the restaurant. The doors were locked and there was another guy next to me trying to get in too. The front door said dining hours end at 10:30 on Thursdays. It was around 9:20 PM. The girl at the register motioned to us that they were closed and that the drive through was open. Puzzled, I got back in my car and drove around to the drive through. I pull up and ask the girl what time they close the walk in portion of the restaurant. She tried to originally dodge the question by asking me if I was dining in tonight. I said yes, then proceeded to ask again what time they close their doors. The girl told me that she didn't know and that she was new. She got another employee who greeted me in an over enthusiastic almost sarcastic way. I asked that girl the same question. What time do they close the walk in dining portion of the restaurant? The girl responds by saying that they were understaffed and that they chose to close the doors and prioritize the drive through. That was understandable. I gave my order and drove around to pay. I was supposed to pull up to the second window to pay and receive my food but I was waiting behind this other car and the first window was to my left. I look over to my left, and I saw a worker (probably the chef) of the kitchen receive a call from her phone and was on the phone for a few minutes while I waited. I did not see her prep my food whatsoever. I thought that was unprofessional of her. I go up to the window and that girl who actually answered my dining question was staring me down with a weird creepy looking smile. She made eye contact with me for a straight 5 seconds. I was about to ask her why she was looking at me like that but I was too weirded out. She slowly passed me my food and I paid. The way she was talking sounded so sarcastic and so over enthusiastic. Here's why I rated this a one star review. I got home and I was about to eat my Buttermilk Crispy Chicken Sandwich. What I saw was nothing I have ever seen before. I have attached pictures of how the sandwich looked like. The lettuce was dark green-gray looking. It looked more like a slice or spinach if anything. I thought they messed up my order to be honest. I always get Buttermilk Crispy Chicken Sandwiches. They do NOT look like that. Barely any tomato, and a dry piece or crispy chicken. The fries were also dry. They tasted like they have been sitting there all night. Terrible service, and terrible food. I will not be going back to that McDonalds. Would give less than one star if I could. My son was so excited to try a Crispy Chicken Sandwich . We pay five dollars, get home and there is a dry chicken patty between a burnt bun. No cheese, no sauce, lettuce or tomatoes. Nothing but a pickle. We had to add mayonnaise ourselves . So disappointing . Reached out to McDonald's to see maybe they might give us a coupon for our son to try the sandwich again and just heard sorry for your experience and thanks for the feedback. read more

Trying times currently with COVID-19 and restrictions in place, but that does not warrant rude staff behavior. This McDonald's Manager has an attitude that at least I can do without. I've been coming in for a morning coffee for a few weeks now...every week there is something new that this Manager tells me I have to do. Today I was told I had to take the receipt even though I use Apple Pay. May not sound like a big deal, but this lack of a smile, some friendliness and customer service has piled up. Went to the drive up window. My order was $8.68. I gave them a $20 bill. I received $1.57 change. After a 15 minute argument they did NOT return my money. They stole it! alright so boom. i go to mcdonalds, I order a mcchicken, 20 nuggets, and a large coca cola. Everything was going smooth. Until it came time to fill my soda cup. i fill the LARGE soda cup with ice and coca cola. im ready to drink it BUT there are no lids for large cups. i am so confused and short on time so i have to run out with a straw in my lidless cup. i get to my family's car and immediately EVERYONE STARTS MAKING FUN OF ME. Mcdonalds- if you are going to have a deal that offers ANY size coke for $1 did you not think i would a large? because it seems you thought i would get a small or medium because those are the only lids you had. This place is disgusting, there are dead flies everywhere. The roof is leaking dirty black water in the kitchen. The staff is very rude and always on their phones. The food is always raw or undercooked and the fries are always cold. They always get my order wrong, and I see them stealing food all the time. This place needs to be closed down for good. Also before that a health inspector should really go there and see the horrible tragedy that is waiting for him when he or she walks in. The first thing you see when you walk in are miserable faces. Nice waiters and good French fries, however the fries could have been more fresh. We came here this week while driving to New Hampshire. McDonalds also had a decent chocolate shake but it was overall a little bit too sweet. I would recommend McDonalds over the other establishments at this location. During the day I have no problem with the customer service or quality of the food. But, whenever I go past 9:00pm when it says it's open until 1am it's always "closed". The lights inside are on and it looks open until you go to the drive through and the screens are turned off and I tried to talk just in case the screens were broken and no response. When I drive past the drive through windows I see the employees just hanging out. Look, it's a McDonald's. My expectation is low already. But this place is terrible! The food comes cold (the fries are clearly old, every single time), the orders are always wrong (ranging from incorrect sauce to completely different meals than what was ordered). When approaching anyone with a complaint about incorrect items, no matter how gently voiced, expect rude tones and an outright refusal to help - I once had to debate with an employee about whether or not she gave me my iced coffee. It wasn't until she found it on the ledge next to her that she gave it to me - and she offered no apology. There's also one man who works drive-thru who lacks both confidence and decorum, harassing customers and making them uncomfortable. We only go here when it's the most convenient option, but I wish I could tell you that time of day made a difference as to quality - it doesn't, except that it ranges from bad to worse. Don't even bother with this place, it's a disgrace (and being a disgrace to McDonald's everywhere is the lowest of the low). read more

The McDonalds on Black Rock turnpike is the absoulte WORST!! As others have also said, they ALWAYS get the order wrong. Not sometimes, but always. One day, I went through the bag in the drive thru, so I wouldn't find out when I got home, and told them it was wrong, and they told me it was my fault, that I didn't order what was missing!! INSANE!! And, the fries are ALWAYS....ALWAYS COLD!!! I don't go there anymore. I went to the one off of Exit 25 once or twice, which is excellent (always right an hot), but it's a pain to have to go that far for Micky D's, so I don't bother eating their food anymore.
