This McDonald's location regularly makes even more money off of me as paid-for items are regularly missing from our order. If you have any trouble with the McDonald's app, do not, I repeat do not ask for any assistance from this location. No one knows about the app, how it operates, or how to navigate any trouble you may have with it. Also, if you do order from the app, the app will tell you you'll have your order about 5 minutes or less. At this location, they will service everyone but you! The entire drive through line will be taken care of before your order. So keep that in mind. The app is doing you no favors. If you pick-up your app order through the drive-thru, you'll be asked to pull around the corner. Again not worth the "advance" ordering. Everywhere in the town of Evanston is LESS than 10 minutes away. Yet with the app, they'll tell you, your order isn't even started until you get there! If you are disabled you are not welcome at this location. All disabled parking was blocked off for the delivery driver because heaven forbid a delivery driver have to walk from the rear of the parking lot. They closed off EVERY disabled parking spot! Also the women's disabled stall was out of order. When I asked why they said there was a " small leak but that there were two other toilets so what's the big deal?" The big deal is you have blocked access to bathrooms for the disabled community over a small leak. Imagine having the ENTIRE bathroom locked. It would be unpopular yet when it's "only" the disabled stall most folks feel it isn't an emergency to get resolved. Just use the other toilet. Except we can't. Fortunately, after a call to corporate I received a call from the regional manager assuring me the situation was being handled and she had sent a representative out to the site. read more

I've always been a fan of quick and easy food, it's not always the most tasty but it gets the job done when you're in need of a bathroom break and some chicken nuggets. They were fast and efficient, and all of the workers were dressed nicely had their hair up--which is always a plus! The restrooms were high class, with nice tile lining the floors and walls, clean, and warm! (I think the automatic hand dryers added to that fact). There is a nice indoor play area for the children and lots of seating throughout the restaurant. One downside is the drive through goes right through one of the main entrances, so watch out for cars driving away in a "mcflurry". TIPS & TRICKS: * If you get chicken nuggets, use honey as dipping sauce! It's the only nugget I would recommend it be used for, but it is mm mm good! * Take a look at the dollar menu and try the Spicy Chicken Burger. It'll put as much hair on your chest as Ronald McDonald has on his head. read more

This is a very busy McDonalds. Busy means fresh...they were cooking hamburger patties on the grill, something I rarely see them do much of, they are usually in te holding area in the steamer. They have cute horse saddles for the kids to sit on as chairs at their sized tables. Its adorable. read more

When you're a couple hundred miles from home and you're just trying to get back, McDonald's is a good standby!! We were very hungry and most restaurants were closed Sunday evening. I don't generally eat "fast food", so I was happy that McDonald's has their breakfast menu available all day, every day. For the six of us, we got 12 Egg McMuffin sandwiches, along with a few $1 sodas. The sandwiches took a few minutes since the eggs were cooked fresh. They were well worth the wait because they're so nourishing and tasty. (Only 288 calories!) My only complaint with our experience was that the caffeinated beverages were weak. We tried the Coke and Dr. Pepper, but they were mostly soda water. We told an employee, but nothing happened during the short time of our visit. My husband really needed caffeine since he was our driver and he wanted to stay alert, so that's the ONLY reason I'm leaving a 4-star rating. *Keep the caffeine flowing, please!!* We all ended up having the Sprite Tropic Berry. Apparently it's a flavor exclusive to McDonalds? I generally don't drink soda but Holy Cow, it was delicious! The pellet ice was a nice touch too. We will likely be back in the future. So it can either be my lack of sleep, or perhaps this McDonalds is just that strange; either way, I need to talk about this location. Let me start by saying that I'm not even upset. I'm actually more amused than anything. Pulled into the drive-thru at about 11:30 on Saturday. After a strangely long wait at the speaker (I actually thought they might have been closed all together), a gentleman comes over the speaker saying, and I quote "Uhhhhhh...what do you want to order?" I was actually a little shocked by that. I mean, I know McDonald's doesn't always have the most friendly service, but this just blew my mind a little, and laughter ensued from the car. At the window I pay for the food, and then he begins to talk about how he's off in twenty minutes, and how he wants to take a bath. At the next window two other employees are clearly goofing around. That goes on for close to ten minutes. When the food was exchanged, the gentleman who handed it over was very nice, and he actually repeated the order back. I have never had that level of service from a fast food joint before. The dining room was closed; however, there was a small picnic table right outside that was perfect. This lady with an eye patch is completely horrible with customer service. She has a rude demeanor and does not know how to make her customers feel welcome. She was yelling at the associates working behind the counter about her safe and drawers being short. She huffed when we said we wanted to take one oatmeal off of our order, and we didn't even pay yet. Then when I was waiting for my order, the girl preparing our trays had two oatmeals on it and the lady with the eye patch went and pulled one off. The girl preparing our trays asked why and the eye patch lady said, " Well it was right but then they cancelled one oatmeal.", with such a nasty tone in her voice. I stopped here on the way to Salt Lake City about a month ago, drive-thru seemed a little busy so I decided to go in and get it to-go. First visited the bathroom, nice and clean. Went to the counter and everyone was ready to help, ordered a Big Mac (sometimes you just need one). The old guy in front of me in line was asking the staff for directions/info on local hotels and the conversation was so cute and helpful to him. Took like 3 minutes tops for my food, even though they were busy, and everyone working looked very nice/had smiles/was helpful. I have stopped for many Big Macs in my life, but first one from here was the BEST one. Still hot 10 minutes later when I got to eat on the road. As someone who moved to this area from a big city I know it's tough out here working in the service industry, and I appreciate hard work wherever I am. Nice job guys, keep it up! :) read more
