We passed through Evanston on our way to Colorado and picked this cafe because of the name (lol) and also the food looked incredible in the photos. We got breakfast sandwich bagles and they were incredible! Fresh and very clearly made from scratch to order. The space reminded me of a cafe you'd find in Venice, CA. There is a yoga studio upstairs and art made by local artists for sale all around. The cafe has loads of space so we didn't feel like we were in anyone's business while we ate. The coffee was smooth and easy to drink. But the gold star is really for the service!! I love to talk to people and get to know about the local life when we travel and this cafe in Evanston was easily one off the friendliest and most open places I've been too. If you're not sure where to go, choose For Pete's Sake.

Great place, it's really warm and cozy, I hear the bagel sandwiches are really yummy, so many flavors of coffee, the Wi-Fi works pretty well, I just wish there were chargers to plug-in phone or computer. There's lots of seating areas, a lady that works upfront is really nice. There's even toys here for kids to play with, books to read, Wyoming merchandise, looks like locally crafted goods are here for sale and artwork. Cute place.

This is a kitchen sink omelette we split. Only $12!!!

Great food and friendly staff. Really enjoyed the atmosphere in the restaurant. Tons of cool gifts for sale! We got one kitchen sink omelette and split it. Tons of great food for $12!!!!

This place is so cute and cozy! It's huge inside with lots of places to sit. It was nice and quiet to work in for a few hours. The coffee was tasty and there was TONS of different flavors to add to your coffee. Unfortunately it was short staffed but I was still able to get a bagel. The guy working was so kind and helpful.

What a great coffee shop. We came in and I was amazed at how much room Pete's Sake has inside. We ordered a couple of coffees. They were hot and tasty! If you are looking for a good cup of Java in Evanston, For Pete's Sake is the place to go!

Love finding small town coffee shops when on road trips. For Pete's Sake had the friendliest barista possibly the owner (didn't ask). The place had a line but my first thought was the coffee must be good. I ordered a plain latte and it tasted perfect. I was only there for the latte but I noticed delicious looking sandwiches walking to the tables with big slices of watermelon. I wished I had found this place around lunchtime. I stopped in for my 2:30 pm pick me up. If I'm the area I'll definitely stop in again.

We visited Suds on Saturday evening with a group of 22 people (including several kids) from out of…read moretown. First, a big thank you -- the staff was genuinely friendly and accommodating. They quickly adjusted seating to fit our large party comfortably, which isn't easy. We really appreciated that. Unfortunately, the food experience was mixed and had some consistent issues that affected most people: * Several meals arrived lukewarm or cold, including a child's Mac-n-Cheese that was straight from the Kraft box and cold. Most of the table reported similar temperature problems. * Our nacho platter with pulled pork was a decent size with good toppings, but the cheese on top wasn't warm at all. The pulled pork was a bit light on portion and average in flavor (though the cheese underneath it was actually warm). * The side salad had some brown lettuce pieces that should have been removed. * The Firecracker Burger was good, but the fries tasted like fish -- likely from being fried in the same oil as the fish & chips. * The chicken panini was lukewarm and felt overpriced for the quality. Most menu items start at $17+, and the value doesn't seem to match the price point. On the positive side, both pizzas (pepperoni and cheese) were a hit with the younger kids -- they really enjoyed them. Edit - the kids said "the pizza dough wasn't really cooked but it was fine" We know running a restaurant is tough, especially with big groups, and the friendly service stood out. With some focus on food temperature, portion consistency, fryer separation, and price-to-value on certain items, Suds could be a much stronger spot. There aren't many restaurant options in the area, so we'd love to see them improve and come back next time we're in town. Thanks again to the team for their efforts.
