Atmosphere - Not rating this as it is a drive thru Food Drink - I normally drink black coffee at home so I treat myself with a hot mocha while out and about.  Large hot mocha was a little light on the amount of coffee, a little sweet.  There was no syrup at the bottom of the cup when I finished, which means everything was blended well.  I also like my coffee so hot that first few tastes are just slow slips, today it was too cool. Sandwiches - I went with my standard Sausage Egg McMuffin (English muffin), this is why I go to McDonald's.  The English muffin was over toasted leaving some spots black.  The sandwiches were not constructed well, I had to rebuild the one as it was such a mess. Service - Two days in a row to have McDonald's breakfasts which lead to two very different experiences.  Ordering the food was smooth.  Paying the food was smooth.  Pulled up to pick up window 1.  I could see my drink sitting at the coffee machine, and did not see my wife's small hot mocha.  I could see an employee making other drinks.  I understand that they multitask.  Our food is handed to us.  Still waiting for our coffees, then I was told to move to pick up window 2.  I watched the next two cars drive away with their orders.  I even watched an employee police the parking lot, and finish.  I was getting ready to get out of the car to check on my order, when a lady brought out the drinks.  Did the coffee machine break down? I was traveling through Eau Claire, Wisconsin and decided to stop at this McDonald's. I was blown away by how nice this restaurant was. There was an interactive children's play area, light-up benches, arcade games and a Ronald McDonald statue that was created to take selfies with. This McDonald's is super fun and comes highly recommended! read more

I just left one of the worst McDonald's I have ever visited. There were employees standing around talking, no toilet paper in any of the stalls, paper towel machine broken. I had to ask for my cup, the only item I ordered and then there were no lids at the fountain area. Horrible! I recently figured out that straws are free at the kiosk. I order 50 straws thinking no way they will give me them. The manager saw the order and was in utter surprise. Looking around the McDonalds and making eye contact with me. I had the biggest grin on my face. He continued to fill up a whole bag of straws for me. Saying he gave me a little extra just in case I ran out. Props to this McDonalds. I will not run out of straws anytime soon. 10/10 customer service!!! read more

I went with my two kids here, they were excited to play in the arcade area. When we arrived there was nothing available half the games were broken. When we asked to turn on one of there four tv's no one knew how to turn one on. I don't understand how the place looked like trash when there are no customers inside. Soda spit all over the floor. Tables that looked like they have been sitting dirty for hours. The worst part was the four workers sitting in the back by the fryers talking and playing on there phones. Wanted to stop at McDonalds to get a drink after playing some volleyball with friends... I was going to go through the drive thru and noticed that the line was long. I decided to pull around the front to walk in and get my drink because it would be much faster than waiting in line behind people ordering food. I parked and went to the front door at 8:55 pm, they locked the door right in front of me and said their dinning closed at 9 pm. I had to then get back in my car and drive around and hop in line at the drive thru. I got to the window of the drive thru and asked when the dinning room closed and was told 10 pm. It took me 7 minutes to get my drink. ALL I wanted was a drink but lazy, rude employees wanted to go home more than they wanted to take care of their customers. It's McDonald's - so I'm not going to discuss the food - it's your typical McDonald's. However - I've never had to wait a long time for an order in the drive-through, I've never had an incorrect order, and haven't had any complaints. Honestly after tonight I don't know if I'm ever going to come back. I ordered a quarter pounder with cheese and no onions. Great I got the food. Took one bite and realized there was hair between the burger and the top bun. I call to let whoever picked up the phone to know. And oh man she gave me attitude. Not gonna lie, wasn't expecting much when I Uber eats McDonald's at 1am, but I was pleasantly surprised. The delivery was quick and easy and my delivery man looked like Johnny sins which was a nice treat. Being on the diet I'm on it's hard to find good food, but I created something special, the burger bowl. I'm not going into details about that sexy thang except for the fact it was damn satisfying. Why is ice cream machine always in maintenance mode? And I think they have more than one. Seems iffy. Long wait times too. Often fries are cold or old by the time you get them. This McDonald's is located about a mile off I-94 at Exit 65 in Eau Claire, and features a very nice indoor playground. There are arcade games, a foosball table, and a tunnel maze for kids to climb through. All children must be accompanied by an adult, and there is a 30 minute limit. Unfortunately, the playground is the highlight of this location and the only reason I'm giving this McDonald's two stars. The bathrooms were not very clean. Counter service was friendly, but slow. Their french fries were soggy, and they did not fill my coffee cup. There is a 24-hour drive through window, and a Kwik Trip conveniently across the street. Other food options nearby are Arby's, Sonic, and Green Mill. A Holiday Inn and Hampton Inn are also in the area. read more

While some reviews seem bad this McDonald's was very nice when I came, very friendly cashiers and employees gave us plenty of napkins and the interior is very nice. Gets my vote for dumbest site/building design ever. They razed their old building last year and rather than fix their access issues, they made it even more frustrating to get to a parking spot. The kitchen was slow. And they still have Fox News on in the dining area.
