Stopped by Guac N Roll for a quick bite (to-go order). I ordered an el pastor taco and asada taco. The food was brought to me very promptly. The tacos are small but delicious and extremely affordable (about $7 total). It is also in a great location right in downtown Eau Claire. There is street parking available or ramp a short walk away. It is a very walkable area. My one complaint is that their to go order was served on a styrofoam plate. It would be nice to see them shift away from styrofoam and go for a more eco friendly to-go container, such as compostable products. Their staff are extremely kind. They took the time to connect with customers, answer questions, and had several recommendations for next time. I will return to Guac N Roll again!! read more

For such a high rated spot I have to say it definitely did not meet my expectations. I'm visiting from California, and was craving an authentic birria burrito. The customer service was good! The ambiance was also good! So I expected the food to be just as good, but unfortunately it was not. The birria burrito had no flavor at all. It also did not come with the side order of consomé, but maybe this is something you have to pay extra for. Also, I never understood lettuce in a burrito. The lettuce taste overpowers the burrito, and doesn't mix the flavors well in my opinion. Will ask for no lettuce next time. Overall it was okay! I can't speak for the other menu items, so I'll have to try it again and order one of the other menu items. read more

The tacos here were good and the meat was very authentic. Prices were fair and the place was orderly and clean. I was a bit disappointed in the guacamole, which was ok, but I think it needs to be great if you put it in the name of your restaurant. Still no chips on the table at these Mexican restaurants in the area and I can't get used to that. read more

For authentic Mexican food this is one of my very favorites. This restaurant is so clean I could eat off the kitchen hood! Family owned and run with recipes by the mom. Huge burritos, delicious sopes, everything homemade. They make their chips to order! Super fast service and quality ingredients! This is the freshest and cleanest Mexican food in Eau Claire. There is no pre-shredded cheese or bagged lettuce anywhere near this restaurant ! They also have four levels of heat for their homemade salsas! read more
