It's a McD's not much else to say. On our way home, needed something to munch on, we stopped here. One "issue" was that the DOT is doing road work, complete with barricades and equipment, so getting in and out was a challenge....obviously this isn't a ding on McDonald's. Despite a few of the recent reviews, service was fast and friendly. It may have been due to the fact that about a half dozen or so of the corporate "suits" were there, right up front, in plain view....oh and btw, being rather loud....not very professional. The fries were hot, which is a bonus with the wife and daughter. The rest of our meals were normal plus they got the daughter's special order correct. read more

Absolutely the worst McDonald's ever. Employees on their cell phones, eating out of the French fry bin, no face masks and rude. Avoid this ghetto place at all cost read more

We went through the drive-through to get our breakfast food quickly and get back on the road. The double-lane for orders held promise. But IT WAS THE SLOWEST service ever. We asked how they kept the orders straight, and was told they take pictures while the order is being made. Do not go here if you are running from the law, or just plan running. You would do better going to Waffle House across the road. read more

We came into the store and were ignored by staff that was too busy offering free food to their friends, yelling, and cursing at one another. Several customers came in and left at the same time as us. Not that I have the highest expectations of a McDonalds franchise but I do expect to be respected as someone that plans on spending money in their stores. read more

Horrible. Always get orders wrong. Open later than advertised and close earlier than advertised

Waited a long time in the drive thru. When we got to the window they told us to pull up and wait for the two Apple pies we ordered. We just wanted Apple pies. We ended up waiting another 15 minutes, tried to go in to see what the hold up was but the doors were locked and we couldn't get anyone's attention. After about a 30 minute ordeal with no pies we ended up just leaving with nothing after having spent our money and wasting our time. Also, none of the employees had masks on. read more

The worst McDonald's I've ever eaten at. Service was slow. The place was dirty. The food didn't taste right. Stopped in for lunch at 2:00 pm and found that the TV was showing an adult soap opera with scantily clad women and people taking drugs. Not what you would expect to be watching at a family oriented facility with your kids. All in all, it was not a place that I'd ever be interested in going back to read more

Go to any other McDonalds but this one. There is one south from there and north from there. Seem like every time I go to this location some machine is broken; Frappè machine, McFlurry machine you name it it's been broken. Frankly, I just think the employees are too lazy to make them and tell me the machines are broken. The last straw was when we evacuated from hurricane Irma and we stopped to get breakfast. I got the country chicken biscuit. I bit into the biscuit and the chicken was raw and rubbery! Ended up going to next McDonald's north were they exchanged my biscuit free. If employees don't want to take the time to cook and make the orders, they should just work elsewhere. I recommend that the owner and or manager of this location take a better look at their employees. read more

I don't expect much from McDonlad's to begin with, but this is the worst location I've ever been to. Drive thru employee was rude. I'm not sure what's so hard about making a cheeseburger with extra pickles and I onions, but this location obviously doesn't know what that means. Also the entire meal was cold...fries, patty, and the bun felt like it was 2 months old. They were also planning on giving me a drink with no ice until I had to ask for it. It was apparently too much for the idiot working the window to turn around and walk 3 steps to get a scoop of ice. I travel 95 all the time and I will never stop here again. They should shut this location down and every single employee should be fired. read more

Slow!! Slowest McDonald's i've visited Full of flies and manager that can't hear! Kept taking orders wrong. Watch for the huge roll of bathroom tissue just sitting on the dispenser. Too lazy to place it where it goes. It's gross and don't expect to park by the building - that's blocked off too! read more

They took my order with no problems, but when it came to moving the line of four cars in front of me, I sat there for five minutes and there wasn't movement at all. Then one of them just pulled out and left. I waited a minute longer and did the same. I wasn't prepared to wait 20 minutes for McDonald's. read more

I literally can't give this a low enough rating. So slow. Workers just mopping. Simple Order took 20 minutes or more. Not sure what they're getting paid for. Customer service horrible. read more

Just stopped for a burger, fries and a drink x 2. Took over 8 minutes to get the meal. Also the fries were not good (tasted old). I had to ask about my meal and the response was "oh yeah, hang on". Worst run McDonald's I have ever experienced! The restroom was acceptable (something positive). The Manager needs to be retrained or leadership needs to make a change with that position! read more

Only 1 little git doing all the front work..taking orders, drinks, ice creams, filling orders. Had to wait 1/2 hour for food...then couldn't get anyone's attention to get jelly for my biscuits. SMFH read more

My family and I went to McDonalds (hwy 251 in Darien) on Sunday. After using the restroom we decided we could not eat there. Both women's and men's rooms were filthy. There was no toilet paper in either and no paper towels. My wife noted that ladies room had faminine products on the floor. When we mentioned this to the staff, they said they were busy with rush and would get to it afterwards. How awful. read more

Newly remodeled, great customer service at drive thru. I'm local and the place is always nice and clean. Food is always fresh and better than most other McDonald's. read more

Filthy! Mold in ice dispenser. Food laying everywhere. Soda area hasn't been cleaned in a long while, so I can only imagine how clean it is where they prep food. Bathrooms also are dirty..toilets not clean. I thought Mcdonalds were pretty CV consistent and held to a certain standard...not true of this one. Ordered food but couldn't eat it after looking around. Disgusting!! read more

Very clean, the cashier was new and being trained but was very nice and professional. They prepared the food and frappe extremely quick and overall was a great experience! Keep up the great customer service. read more

Slow service at drive through. And, this is very important, the large teas were not 1.00 as they are anywhere north of them all the way to cincy Ohio. What is that about? read more

If I could do 0 stars I would. Human feces all over the women's restroom that had been tracked around. Orders wrong and food disgusting and old. Staff being loud and obnoxious ignoring all customers. Save yourself the trouble and go grab something at a gas station. Nasty!! read more

If you want McDonald's, find another one. Food was decent at this one but that's because it was busy and fresh. However the staff was VERY rude! Ignoring even the simplest of questions (either rude or plain dumb). Place was filled to WAY over capacity!! And if the fire marshal saw this he/she would probably FLIP! People literally sitting on the floor and they are serving people without shirt/shoes. However the place was surprisingly clean (when I went anyway) and the food wasn't bad. read more

SO SLOOOOOOOW!!!! I'm in the drive through & now my kids are crying because I've been stopped for so long. Terrible!

Everything about this McDonald's was terrible. From the filthy bathrooms to the pop machine. Floor was sticky, kids were running on the seating, the order screen looked like it hadn't been cleaned for days. There was something wrong with each of our orders, and when we asked to get it corrected received a big eye roll from the employees. read more

I walked up to the restaurant and proceeded to the door which happened to be locked. I started to make I contact and the employees ignored me(very bad service). We tried the drive through and there was one car ahead of us, however the service was so horrifically awful that it took 5 minutes before we decided to leave and go somewhere else. I would give a review for the food but I never got in to try it. 0 stars.(btw I had to give them a star or else I couldn't post this review) read more

This McDonald's was entirely too slow. Fries were thrown in the bag, no salt and cold

One of the most disgusting McDonalds I have ever seen! Overflowing trash everywhere, unclean restrooms, very unkept.

My family and I stopped here on our way back to Virginia and went through the drive thru thinking it would be quicker to do so, however; that could not have been further from the truth. It took close to 5 minutes for someone to take our order and when we started our order, I felt as though I was being rushed because it was , "is that all", quickly after reciting each order. A total was given so we proceeded to window #2 which no one was manning so we followed the car in front of us to window #1. We sat there for about 6 minutes before the worker realized our payment was never taken. She said, " oh, you haven't even paid for your food?!" Well no duh and as I proceeded to explain what happened, she just walked off with my bank card. She comes back with my card and receipt and then I wait another 4-5 minutes for my food. The fries were soggy and not hot which by the way are my favorite thing from McDs and to get them soggy and flavorless was disappointing. Nuggets and cheeseburgers were ok. Cheeseburgers were flattened out like a pancake, but tasted ok. Note to self, I will not visit this McDonald's again and I would probably visit the Dairy Queen or Waffle House that is right there by it should I be in that area again. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Filthy both Restrooms and lobby/ dining room. If the restrooms and dining area are filthy I can only imagine how dirty the kitchen and food prep areas are. Non-caring employees. Two working counter, well one working drive thru, and neither employee said one word to us, never looked at us. We were the only customers at the counter. This was actually a good thing as I did not want to eat here and my husband was worried about travel time. They are not adhering to any standards here and the employees need to be trained or fired. I sis not see anyone in charge. Dear franchisee, read these reviews, care about your restaurant or give it back to corporate. This place is a disgrace. Shame on you. read more

Keep driving! Took over 20 minutes to get our food. 1 biscuit was cold and other two was not very good! Think this will be my last trip to McDonald's period. read more

Spent over twenty (20) minutes awaiting food in the drive-thru and the order was wrong. Not only was the biscuit improperly cooked (not enough) the muffins were not even toasted. Management has issues . . . . We will never return! NEVER! read more
