Horrible pizza. Staff was friendly. I would buy frozen pizza before getting this again.

There was fried fish and fried chicken on the buffet along with green beans, cabbage, Mac and cheese, rice, beans, biscuits etc with apple cobbler and ice cream for dessert. The shrimp here are excellent and always fresh. They do a dinner buffet on Friday and Saturday that has quite a bit of seafood on it as well as steaks, sausages, chicken etc. the dining room is just about always busy as it's a really popular place but the waitresses take good care of everyone. It is not a romantic spot or particularly good for small kids (crowded busy dining room with lots of people carrying buffet plates) but is perfect for people who want really good food at a good price and anyone who appreciated fresh shrimp.

I stopped here in my way to st Simon's because I ate here many times when I lived in Brunswick…read more I got a table quickly which was a surprise because they were very busy. I debated between shrimp and oysters and the buffet. I chose the buffet because the menu indicated there was lots of different seafood the buffet and I was hoping for some vegetables too. Big mistake. There was no oysters, no scallops and only one vegetable, green beans. There was a small salad bar, so I did have some of that. The best thing was the fried shrimp and the shrimp in the shrimp boil. The deviled crab was not good.Sigh, I paid a huge amount of money and was so disappointed. The interior has not been updated at all, which was a surprise as popular as it is. Learned a hard lesson....look at the buffet before you order it. My apology....I posted the wrong picture when I wrote this review. I was catching up on reviews and clicked the wrong one. I have deleted the picture and apologize for the error.

I received a menu / flyer in the mail for this spot and before that had no idea it even existed…read more The back of flyer had a very detailed, extensive menu. And I'm a sucker for good descriptions on menus, so I bookmarked them to try. Exterior Exterior could definitely use some work. Parking lot is RIDDLED with HUGE potholes. Neighboring tenants have spray painted signs instead of real signs, etc. But I wasn't worried, some of the best food comes from places that don't look like much on the inside. Interior Interior actually looks pretty good (see photos). Take-away only. No dining room. Bare bones, but clean. Limited seating inside for people waiting and those chairs outside along the sidewalk aren't practical. No protection from heat / cold / rain and that parking lot is a dust bowl. Customer Service I was going to call my order in, but the menu I raved about doesn't actually tell you what the individual pizza topping options are and I didn't want to call to ask an associate to rattle them off for me - so I was going to place my order and wait while it was being prepared. When I walked in, there was one young lady taking a phone order. Two young men and another young lady were also right up front. The two young men seemed to trying to figure out a delivery issue. All 4 people looked up at me - and did not acknowledge me or greet me in anyway. So that was a little annoying. A simple 'hey there, welcome, I'll be right with you,' would have been awesome. Instead they young lady and one of the young men went to the back and the other young man left to make his delivery. And the other young lady continued with her call while I stood there waiting. Eventually, the young man (I asked before leaving and discovered he's the asst manager, Lawrence) came from the back to ask if I was picking up or placing an order. I explained that I wanted to place an order. He answered my menu questions and put my order in. He was pretty friendly during our exchange so I guess the team just needs some polishing on how to greet customers upon arrival. Food I ordered a small thin crust with spinach and chicken. There was very little chicken. Very little cheese. And WAY too much sauce. The crust was good but it's never a good thing when the best thing about a pizza is the crust. My Island Chicken BLT looked very good except 1) it's a BLT, yet it doesn't come with tomatoes. When I asked, Lawrence said the 'T' does in fact stand for tomatoes, but the prep sign doesn't say to add them, so he never does unless the customer asks. Um ... ok ... He added them and there was no upcharge so I appreciated that 2) There was very little chicken or bacon on the sandwich. Tons of great looking romaine lettuce. I felt like I was eating lettuce, cheese, tomatoes and pineapples. And the way the sandwich was constructed with the cheese melted on to both sides of the bread made it nearly impossible to add any sort of dressing or condiments to it without making a huge mess. Price / Value I thought my food was a little pricey base on the skimpy amounts of protein on both - but everything is so expensive now, it's just kinda hard to gauge. Overall Overall, I think they're worth a try. Wish them the best.

Food and service was a plus. We were there for Mardi Gras so it's Ambience definitely screamed…read moreparty.

You order inside and they will bring your order out to you. I forget the name of our pizza we had but it had spicy sausage, peppers and cheese. It is wood fired and the crust was delicious. It was delicious and a perfect size for the two of us. Add a couple of house wines and it was a perfect dining experience. We will definitely be returning. Check it out - you will be glad you did. Oh and they have a lot of TVs inside so if you want to watch sports while eating you are set.

First, I blame myself. I have written reviews of this restaurant twice (last was 2021) with negative results. Friends wanted to go, and while I should have spoken truth in the face of optimism I did not. I became complicit in the single most negative SSI restaurant experience of 3 different families spanning over a decade of residence. I want to point out that I do not blame the staff. They had one person taking orders, one person making pizza and one person tending bar. Their attitudes were similar to a person who has reached the end of their rope with no support from the people who actually profit from owning the business. They were doomed from the onset. Our Odyssey (nod to Homer - similar length experiences) began at 6pm. There was one other group of 4, otherwise the place was empty. 3 families (9 total adults/kids) ordered a total of 6 pizzas. If you have been to V's before you know that the pizza is 13" and over priced like bottled water at the airport. Come to think of it, eating here was very similar to ordering food at the airport with similar customer service. We received food in such a ramshackle fashion, and behind others who ordered behind us, that I actually considered whether this place utilized a food lottery and just failed to notify the suckers who braved the fiery cauldrons of souls burning in hot pitch. I have said I do not blame the staff. While I do not blame them, I recognize that they did nothing to actually alleviate the situation, such as stop taking pick up orders when 10 tables in the restaurant had been waiting on dine in orders for or 1.5 hours. This might be enough to write about....hold on. The quality of the food....dear sweet lord the quality of the food. Have you had wet pizza? As you read that, do you consider what it means? Imagine a pizza Dominos, Pizza Hut, whatever. It is sitting in a light down pour over the very center of the pizza to where on the outside the cheese is melted and the crust looks right. Then, you pick it up and the center falls away like a piece of Wonder bread dissolved in a glass of water. No. it is not appetizing. The word moist springs to mind and nobody likes that word. On the positive side I appreciated the Stromboli I ordered, I just can't wait to take it home and finish cooking it. 2.5 hours later we wanted to leave. We cancelled the items we had not received yet and left with the realization that although there is no need for a Blockbuster video anymore at that location, it would have been preferable to V's Pizza in 2024.
