This used to be our go-to pizza spot on the island, but unfortunately, the quality has declined. Our last two visits were disappointing. The supreme pizza was topped with what seemed like canned and frozen vegetables that turned out soggy. The first time my wife and I went here, the food and service was exceptional. Tonight, we waited over 40 minutes for her lasagna. There was never more than 2 other tables with patrons at any time. The waitress came to our table 3 TIMES in the 53 minutes we were there. 1: drink order 2: bring her tea 3: bring my beer and take food order. Someone else dropped off our pizzas (without plates!) while ignoring my empty beer mug. We finally had to flag down a cook to ask about her lasagna after 35+ minutes of not seeing our waitress. When it finally arrived about 15 minutes later, we just boxed it up and left. The guy who came from the kitchen to run the cash register was obviously a manager, or possibly owner. He was very unconcerned about the service we received. His response was a shrug and a half-hearted "sorry, we're training 2 new people." No offer to do anything to make up for a poor experience. If he had offered to remove something from the tab, I would have refused, but at least I would have felt like he actually cared, and I would have felt okay about going back again. Ordered this place for dinner tonight and my family picked it up. We ordered a big daddy (rectangular pan) pepperoni and cheese and two extra large pizzas (supreme and white pizza with spinach, tomato and pepperoni). All of the pizzas were really good. The big daddy and the supreme were a little greasy but good, the white pizza was light and fresh with a hint of garlic - really a good pizza. Great place for pickup at the beach. Very pleased with the carry out food we got from Fox's! Being from Chicago we know good pizza and found they had good thin crust, which was truly that, thin! So many places say they have thin when they mean hand-tossed. Toppings and cheese were plenty. I would have liked to known ahead of time that by "onion" they meant red onion, but it wasn't overpowering at all. Everyone also enjoyed the Stromboli and its dipping sauce was good. Caesar salad also good, nice that they put the hot chicken on the side so not to wilt the lettuce. We left their menu at our rental home for the next group of people to see and maybe enjoy as well. read more

Our favorite pizza on the island. We like the supreme pizza, a side salad with Caesar dressing and a cookie. Their fresh cookies, apple or chocolate chip, are dynamite too. Buyer beware, l searched for a menu with pricing and couldn't find one. Tried to order online thinking that the price would show up, site would not allow me to move past the first screen. Found a picture from another reviewer, full size sub was $9.50. I figured the price might be a bit higher decided to call in my order, ordered my sub and picked it up and was charged $18.00! My error for not asking when ordering. My sister was able to get a personal size pizza for $13.00. My sub was ok, not worth $18.00. read more

We eat at Fox's all the time. It's generally pretty good. I like the wedge salad and the pizza. Tonight I was extremely disappointed with the chicken and cheese hoagie. The chicken was so dry and stuck between two piece of previously prepared cheese bread. Oh and they asked if we wanted onions or peppers with it and we said onions. So we got a side of raw chopped red onions with it when it came out. Wow. There is a subway 2 doors down. Should have gone there. read more

Great food, we had a large group with two kiddos. They were very accommodating and brought out crayons to keep them entertained. The service was extremely fast and 100% accurate. I'm pretty sure the owners were there while we were eating. We were asked several times how our meal was and if we needed anything. Visitors beware! Locals know better. Family been on SSI for long time. Used to order Fox's for our kids when they were younger (delivery). But some very bad experiences have left us (and many others we know who live here locally) with a bad taste in their mouths....literally. Quality doesn't compare to other spots on the island, neither does service...often taking over an hour to get food that isn't very good. Have been treated poorly in recent visits by staff. Finally had enough. I urge you to rethink spending your money at this establishment. Go to any of the other local pizza joints where they care more about having customers come back. Let Fox's keep servicing the folks who are visiting and don't know better...yet. read more

We are regulars at Fox's and generally have nothing but rave reviews!!! Unfortunately tonight's experience was sub par. Our food was as good as always, but there were no "adults" there and the 3 teens left to run the place needed a lesson in customer service! Aside from the initial delivery of our pizza and drinks, they were nowhere to be seen. We had to get up to ask them for dressing and retrieved our own to-go box when we were finished. When we got up to pay, it all made sense....two of the three were hunkered down behind the counter on their phones!!! This is normally our go-to for pizza and I don't want to discourage anyone from going......but wanted to let the owners know, their young staff needs some work!! read more

The pizza is good but to say they are sparse with their toppings would be an understatement. I ordered a large pizza with onions, peppers, and mushrooms. I literally counted 19 pieces of diced onion and I had to really search to find the 19. There were 8 pieces of sliced mushrooms. I understand times are tough but if you are charging $25 for a large pizza at least make it look like my pizza has the toppings. read more
