I reserved a seat in advance when I came on Saturday night it wasn't that full. I was immediately seated and had drinks out pretty fast. Staff was great. The environment was very modern clean and friendly. I tried the margarita fire bread (aka pizza) and it was the best pizza I've ever had! The pizza was served with fresh basil, and it was served very warm. after the pizza, I had a brownie dessert! it was amazing. It was served hot and gooey just how I like it! i'll be coming back soon five stars for sure!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Ember! Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. After enjoying happy hour drinks ($4 for house wine), we opted for the wood-fire pizza, which did not disappoint. It was absolutely delicious and so was the Eula Mae dessert (pound cake, fresh cream, and berries). 10 out of 10 experience!

Very nice - elegant - expensive - steak and seafood restaurant. We had the Hogs in a Quilt as the appetizer and they were amazing! The steak was very very good , definitely the best steak on the island and in the Brunswick area.

The great place to celebrate! We were able to celebrate my sister's 58th birthday here before we ended our weekend trip, and we are all happy we were able to get reservations. The ambience, decor and service, met our expectation for "fine dining" and the food provides a delicious experience sealing the deal. The poundcake is the best dessert- we all got a second order to go.

Ember is one of my favorite restaurants on St. Simons Island! The food and service are always great and the ambiance is perfect for a great evening out with friends or date night! I love that many of the menu items are locally sourced! You can choose from delicious pork, seafood, or beef dishes that are paired with tasty vegetables and sides. So many unique options that change with the seasons. I love going to Ember and trying different masterpieces the chef has created!

The food was mediocre and the prices were high. The egg roll was the only good thing on the menu. Won't be coming back.

We just went a few times for happy hour. Great deals for wine and about 5 or 6 appetizers. Caesar salad, brie and tacos were all very good.

There were some great options which made choosing difficult, but we tried the biscuits and gravy (go ahead - get 2 biscuits!) and the fried chicken and biscuit. Both were great! The sandwich wasn't huge so it was a perfect amount for breakfast. We sat inside - it's very cute - with a market and to go as well as the tables. Food comes up fast and is really reasonably priced! The chicken was perfectly fried - not greasy - and the hot honey was a nice touch (and thankfully, not too hot). Good bathrooms and lots of tasty looking items in the refrigerated cases (including various types of seafood to cook).

I decided on a grits bowl . I was shocked at ghe size of the bowl when it was delivered a short while later. Huge is an understatement. The grits were well done, the bacon plentiful and lots of cheese. I could only finish about half of it. Really nice dish I will get again. There's not a lot of tables, and it would be hard for a large group but even if you have to wait for a table, it is worth the wait! I will return!

Stellar cocktails, friendly service, great views, modern design aesthetic, and incredible food. My only gripe is that they do not take reservations, though even on a Friday night, I've been able to get seated within 20-30 minutes, and you can always grab a drink from the bar and hang out on the lawn while you wait. This most recent visit, I started with the seafood chowder, one of my favorite soups on the island. Creamy, hearty, with plenty of fish, shrimp, crab, and potatoes. Shared a crabcake with my girlfriend--another solid choice, with plenty of crab, not too heavy on the filling, and with a lovely remoulade. For mains, we both had the grilled redfish, a baked potato for me, and mixed veggies for her. Perfectly cooked pieces of fish with a nice crust on the outside while still being moist and tender. Dessert this time was the chocolate pie, which was quite nice, not being too heavy nor excessively sweet. Did I mention the cocktails? I'm a big fan of the smokey mango Fiddlerita (a mezcal take on the classic marg), and the saladito a close second (again, mezcal, but with a little honey and cayenne). The girlfriend enjoys the basil smash (hold the simple syrup, please). Previously, we've tried the artichoke dip, which is also fantastic, shrimp and grits (solid, but Reid's does it better), blackened tripletail over creamy leek sauce (a special, and special indeed), and the key lime pie (excellent). You really can't go wrong here.

Very informed. My only argument is that it is not listed anywhere that they have gluten free bread, I only knew cause of yelp. They have a large variety of bakery goods, and daily fun cookies. Eclair was out of this world. A lot of drink options, but was a little shocked to see a can of Colombe Coffee for $12, when they are usually $4!!! A lot of dad's cookies, gluten free options. They have a ton of fun unique gifts to look at while you wait. Including a ton of high end mah jong! Like $150 for pretty pink editions! Pool float! You name it, they probably have it!

We started with fried Brussel sprouts with the sauce of the day being Maple syrup, bacon and i believe walnuts. The wife normally hates these things but she loved this rendition. Crispy bitterness from the sprouts, paired with sweetness of syrup and saltiness from bacon. Just really done well. My Buford Highway burger was interesting, but at the same time delicious. I mean who ever thought of putting fresh carrots, large slices of cucumbers, cilantro, jalapenos, Napa cabbage, with Korean BBQ sauce is either mad or brilliant (I am going with the latter). The Veggies made it super fresh, while the burger (and added bacon) added the oomph. The wife order The American burger with lettuce, tomato, pickles, red onions certified sauce then she added Cheese and Bacon. She loved the burger and really enjoyed the certified sauce. The only thing not great and the reason we could not give it 5 stars were the fries. The wife described them as looking like they had the flu, pasty, and weak looking with no taste. Just as a side note, the Bacon was cooked perfectly. No flimsy underdone pork here. Just the really good crispy stuff. Clearly we will go back sans french fries.
