    A Wedge salad, unwedged!
    Tom T.

This place was one of our favorite places to eat along the Georgia coast. However, we've noticed nuances of differences and upon inquiry found out there's new owners. Gone are the energetic and perky wait staff happy to greet and serve you as you enter. They made a big difference in the previous operation. Gone also are a number of items off the menu that were key entrées. Most important of all, it seems there's been a change in the cooking staff. From our latest visit, we both felt a bit ill after eating here. Items we ordered had an impact on our gastrointestinal tracks. It seems are multi decade run with this spot is over.

Excellent Pizza and Stromboli! Have to recommend Fox's Den for its incredible taste and service. Stopped in during our marathon weekend and its carbs are the perfect paring for a hard workout (prerace or recovery). It's the perfect location with plenty of local shops and things to see.

    Garlic Knots - exceptionally delicious.

12/26/24 What a wonderful experience. Friendly and responsive staff, outstanding food, and the best atmosphere in there. We enjoyed pizza, knots, garlic bread, and pasta. Just a great eating experience.

First time at Fox's den, will not be the last!! The food was authentic and oh my so flavorful! Our server was so nice and attentive! The restaurant was cool 50's diner style with album covers on the wall. Will definitely be back!

This place was fantastic. My husband is a bit of a NY pizza snob and he was shocked and thrilled by how good this pizza was. Get the deep dish pizza - you will not be disappointed. The garlic knots were so good - light and doughy and delicious. Well done! The service was patient and everyone was so helpful and happy.

Fantastic pizza! The beer selection is great! Service was great too. While waiting for our seat outside a homeless guy approached us and got a bit angry at us for what I still don't understand but he went into the restaurant first and I'm not sure what happened, so maybe he was just angry. Will definitely go back when we're in the area again.

Friday about 7pm. Called in order-small margarita pizza. Pick up easy. Great atmosphere of locals from all walks of life. Couples, families, friends all enjoying themselves. Decided to eat outside. Beautiful downtown Brunswick on a Friday night. Service was a little crazy. They were down a server. A definite must do if in the area.

Was this the best pizza I've eaten in my life? Not at all. Did it taste good though? He@@ yeah! I recommend getting the white sauce pizza! Sadly, I don't remember the name of it pizza though. I suggest giving this place a try!

To start when I pulled up to the place I was so impressed with the incredible vibe of the outside. Beautiful plants. Awesome fountain. Vibrant paint. Just beautiful!! Then you walk in and I was taken back by how beautiful the inside was too. Amazing wood work. Homemade drinks to the left. Great menu straight ahead and then some of the nicest staff I've ever met. I hadn't eaten all day so I was really hungry. I talked with the staff and had them pick me out their two best sandwiches. The beef and the chicken (can't remember the menu names lol) and then got a cup of chili! All of it was amazing!! Finally to close this off.. their story.. they have a little story brochure to the right of the register. Wow!! Such a cool story. I say this with all confidence. This is the coolest restaurant I've been in, in over 1.5 years to say the least. Top 10 ever. Try it! You won't regret it.

I would get it again...but probably won't because I want to try many other dishes on the menu. I had a hibiscus drink that was wonderful. I hesitated to order a dessert but gave in and I am so glad I did. I had the sweet potato pound cake that had a sweet pecan topping that was just the right amount. Oh wow, it was awesome. Parking is out front in a small parking lot so be careful getting in and out. I will Definitely return!!!!!

Because the restaurant is downtown there is plenty of free street parking spaces right outside the door. There is a bar, with bar seating, The other seating consisted of normal table with hard back chairs, and couches that ran down the side of the wall with tables, and hard back chairs on the other side. Overall, the service was adequate, not good, and certainly not great, but good enough not to stop us from enjoying our night out. I started with what was supposed to be a cup of Tomato Bisque but received and paid for a bowl. Somewhat my fault for not realizing that my serving and what I paid for was large and more expensive than the cup I ordered. With that said, I thought the flavor of the bisque served with, Garlic Buttered Crostini, and grated Smoked Gouda was outstanding. The temperature could have been a bit warmer, but again the flavor was sport on. The wife and I split a very large bowl of PEI Mussels. The Mussels were served in a white wine broth with Shallots, Garlic, Roasted Tomatoes, and Bacon. Honestly, I could and did finish the broth off as a soup. There were quite a few Mussels that did not open, but the bowl was so large, we wouldn't have eaten them anyway. The wife's main dish was the Pan Seared Sea Scallops, with peach and bacon risotto, and fresh Spinach. The dish was finished with an amazing Bourbon Peach Brown Butter Reduction. The scallops were large, the Risotto was great, but the brown butter reduction was the absolute star of the dish. For my main dish I had the Curried Lamb Lollipops, served over Cilantro Basmati Rice, and roasted Tomatoes with an excellent curry sauce. The chops were of good size and cooked to perfection. And please don't even get me started on the fired Garlic Butter Paratha which is some of the best bread I have ever had. My mistake was ordering a side of the Peach and Bacon Risotto similar to what was served with the scallop dish. Without the Bourbon Peach Brown Butter Reduction however, the risotto ate a little dry and had little to no peach flavor. I finished my meal with a bourbon , Mascarpone, bread pudding, which was amazing. The dish was loaded with bourbon which both my wife and I agreed was not completely cooked off. Great dish to finish an outstanding meal. Even with a few minor missteps, the overall flavor of the dishes were so good, I still must give it an overall 5.

This definitely appears to be a popular place with locals because most people are greeted by name as they enter the restaurant. I was greeted with a smile and a good morning as soon as I entered the restaurant. They gave me a menu and told that I could sit anywhere I would like. The server was very friendly and relatively attentive. The dining room is adequately filled with six large larger tables and a number of smaller ones that are perfect for two people. They also have four picnic tables outside. They serve breakfast and lunch all day. Yelp shows that they're open until 3 PM, but the menu shows 7 AM to 2 PM Monday through Friday, and the grill is turned off at 1:30 PM. I decided to try their ham and cheese omelette. The menu shows a peace symbol next to the best selling items. The omelette comes with hashbrowns or grits and your choice of toast. The server suggested raisin toast or the biscuit. I typically do not order biscuits because they tend to be dry. Their biscuit was surprisingly good. It was sliced in half and grilled on both sides. It tasted soft and moist after applying butter and strawberry jam. Similar to the biscuit, the ham and cheese omelette was also really good. It was loaded with ham and there was possibly a little more ham than cheese. Overall, I had a positive experience. The food tasted great, and the service felt personable and exemplified southern hospitality. I would definitely consider returning, and I would recommend Maggie Mae's to others Cheers
