Alfredo should be rich, creamy, and deeply satisfying; this version lacked the depth and richness that make the dish worth ordering. What makes all of this particularly disappointing is the disconnect between the restaurant's presentation and the actual experience. The exterior suggests something elevated, but the food, selection, and service simply don't deliver. Ultimately, if the quality of the meal, the variety of choices, and the service are all surpassed by what you can get at Olive Garden, that's probably a pretty good indication that the restaurant needs to take a hard look at what it's trying to be, and what it's actually delivering.
