Without question the best coffee in the Golden Isles. Wonderful staff too! My only issue is the bagel wasn't very good. Hopefully they can find a way to get a better product. Either way. I'll be back. read more

We found this place while searching for coffee in Brunswick on a Sunday, and it definitely did not disappoint. Its appears to be relatively small on the inside but there is plenty of space to sit and enjoy your beverage. There were only two people working behind the counter and they were amazingly efficient. They were also super friendly. My family loved the coffee. They gave it a 5 star rating based upon taste and temperature. We also tried one of their freshly made waffles with blueberries, strawberries and maple syrup. They said it was one of the best they've had. I would definitely consider returning and highly recommend Wake Up Coffee in Brunswick. Cheers read more

Coffee was GREAT! Service was even better. Clean bathrooms and seating. Stop and say hi to rico. read more

My hands down favorite coffee place and we travel A LOT and live for a good coffee. You have to get the coconut latte or the island mocha (coconut and mocha) it's house made syrup (most of their syrups are). They use a good espresso so it's the perfect coffee flavor without being over powering or bitter. A must try if you're in Brunswick, on Jekyll or Saint Simons. read more

Amazing coffee, good pastries and great service! 100 times better than Starbucks or Dunkin.

I absolutely loved this coffee shop! The service, the music, the vibe, and most importantly the coffee were fantastic. This place has a lot of coffee options. I chose the vanilla latte half sweet and it was perfect. They also have all of the standard coffee drinks and a few others. On my next visit I want to try the lavender latte. They also have tea and an assortment of baked goods. The blueberry scone was delicious. It was busy and bustling with activity but there is a lot of places to sit including a sunroom. They have freshly roasted beans in assorted styles and some fun but basic merchandise. I bought their stork sticker for my luggage. If I was local this would be a regular stop. Highly recommended read more

Great coffee excellent service. A friendly cozy coffee shop. Will be back next time I am in Brunswick.

Homemade danishes are always a plus. They keep a good inventory with a wonderful selection of pastries. The service is happy, the baristas seem to enjoy their jobs. The atmosphere is quite pleasant, my favorite is when they have the "garage" door open. read more

Probably one of the best coffee shops I have visited while traveling. The iced chocolate coconut coffee is delicious and reminds me of a Samoa cookie. I also snacked on the chocolate chip banana bread which was extremely moist and fresh. The shop is adorable and the baristas are so friendly! Highly recommend. read more

I was in desperate need of an afternoon pick-me-up! Thank goodness that I found Wake Up Coffee close by. I ran inside and ordered a hot white mocha latte. The girl who took my order was friendly and kind. My drink was ready within 3 minutes and just like that I was out the door. My white mocha latte was the perfect temperature and tasted great! It wasn't too sweet which I really appreciated. Thank you Wake Up Coffee and keep up the great work! read more

A delightful little cafe in Brunswick. While visiting Jekyll Island, I wanted some good coffee (good coffee is not available on the island) so I headed into Brunswick. Upon entering I saw they were making their own chocolate sauce for the mocha and unloading a tray of scones from the oven...I knew it was going to be good. I ordered a Hot Mocha and Blondie pastry. First, the blondie was so delicious I hoovered it before I remembered to take a picture. I asked the nice lady if I could get a corner piece and she obliged and it was the best decision I've made in quite some time. It was delicious and not overly and obnoxiously sweet like a lot of the baked goods I've tried down here. The Mocha was rich and delicious. A perfect blend of rich mocha chocolate flavor and espresso. This is definitely worth the trip off the island. read more

Wake Up Coffee is one of my all time fav coffee spots in my area. Both locations on St. Simons Island and in Brunswick are so cute and cozy. I love the remodeling they've done in both while keeping their cute & simple aesthetic. They have fresh pastries and some breakfast items like their avocado toast! I always order their turtle mocha with almond milk & whip cream hot or iced and it's never disappointed!! I love coming to get some work done, chat with friends, or solo! Such a brunswick gem and they deserve all the love read more

They make excellent coffee. I wish my Americano was a little hotter, but it was tasty. The waffle wasn't exactly Belgian (the texture was a little heavy), but it tasted fresh with no artificial anything, so I liked it. The avocado toast was interesting. It has a balsamic reduction over the avocado, which tastes sort of like teriyaki sauce with vinegar. I'm not a fan of vinegar for breakfast, but it was just sweet enough that it works. You can also order it without the balsamic reduction. The atmosphere was excellent, and we enjoyed being there. Would definitely go again. read more

First off these people are by far the most kind and friendly people! Second off this place is so dang adorable I would love to even live here! Lastly dang delicious coffee!! Friendly staff with coffee knowledge. What else do you want. First trip here to Brunswick and this was my first stop. Need some Java and this was what I picked on Yelp. Good choice. Cool little coffee shop vibe in there. Two great guys talking with customers and making people happy. The caramel cake looked amazing. I just grabbed a muffin and an Americano to go but that cake is on my to do list. Great place to stop and grab a drink. Bunch of chill little rooms to read or hang out and sip on your coffee or tea. I'll be back soon maybe even later today. read more

This was a quick stop on our way to Jekyll Island and I couldn't be more glad we stopped in! The coffee is delicious, and the service is personable. The baristas went above and beyond for my kiddos, even providing an extra cup with whipped cream to stop my kids from bickering. The inside has some nice seating. There is room to work if you need to, but also comfortable seating to just hang out. read more

Boy oh boy, wasn't this a good find!! I feel as if I am a coffee connoisseur, and this was the best coffee I've had in a very long time. (And I drink it everyday). Even coffee aside, I would give this place 5 stars for the barista and the atmosphere alone. This place was immaculate in every way it could be! I would love to this area just to be near this coffee shop! You definitely should give it a try!! I got an iced coconut oat milk latte, and my boyfriend got the watermelon lemonade. I've already talked about how good the latte was, but the watermelon lemonade was a major hit too. Not too sweet, not too sour, perfect amount of watermelon flavor. I just love this place!!! read more

I just had the BEST latte I've had in a long time- a hot caramel latte. It had the perfect amount of foam too! The service was provided with a smile and with very little wait. I liked that they had two drive- through windows , one for the driver's side and one for the passenger's side. I'm not from the area, but I will make sure to stop by whenever I'm passing through the Brunswick area. read more

A charming little place with a friendly staff and great coffee. The little library in back offers the patron to take a book, or leave one. It needs more contributions from staff and patrons, though. If I lived there, they'd have dozens more. read more

Found this lil coffee shop on our pit stop em route to VA. Great coffee and their cakes/pastries were very tasty! When we went it was a 1 man show. So he had to take order and make said orders so it was a bit of a wait. Other than that, it's a great little coffee shop! read more

Okay, this is coffee shop feels like home. I learned this was a house to someone, but turned it into a coffee shop. I have been a loyal customer through every renovation, and it keeps getting better and better. They make almost all of their own syrups, roast beans locally (all fair trade), all-natural no preservatives in their oat and almond milk, and the pastries are to die for. Every employee is so kind and will always greet you with a smile on their face. They make an effort to know everyone's name. Soon enough they will memorize your name and your drink. If you go enough, they will even start making it before you enter the door. Family atmosphere and great music playing as well. High quality, and highly recommended. read more

Stumbling upon this quaint coffee house in our first trip to Brunswick was and still is a highlight of the area. Genuine employees that listen and care about your desires. They know their coffees and teas. Be creative and mix your own...or trust the special board... Fresh, generous sweets tempt everyone... delicious scones, moist muffins, chewy cookies.... Lots of room to sit and people watch or pull out your laptop on the free WiFi. Look forward to our next visit. read more

Great coffee and service in both places in Brunswick and St Simons. Nice places to relax and wonderful selection of music

The best specialty latte! I stopped by traveling through due to a recommendation from a friend. Wake Up Coffee did not disappoint (other than the fact that indoor seating was still closed ). The barista was so kind and gave me the run down of her favorite options. I decided on the turtle with oat milk (OMG amazing!) It was so smooth and yummy. They had great looking scones (however, I'm gluten-free) BUT they did have amazing energy balls! When back in the area, I'll be sure to stop by. read more

I found this coffee stand when I made a wrong turn if you can believe that. Glad I did. While passing through Brunswick, Georgia, I stopped in Wake Up Coffee Co. (thanks to my Waze App for locating this place!). I look for local spots like this across the state, but this is my favorite, even after just my first visit!! Of course they grind their coffee beans fresh for each cup. But, they also make their own chocolate and caramel! It was a hard choice, but I chose the Island Mocha. It is excellent! Special shout out to Grace who served me. There's something about having a coffee shop in a house- I can't help but love it. Luckily, Wake Up has more to offer than a cute exterior. The latte I got here was on point, along with the service. Their baked goods are really good too, and the blueberry scone I got was soft even when I saved half for the next day!
