Had a truly abysmal experience here today. Went through the drive-thru and asked the lady working the intercom if they had the Hello Kitty toy. I specifically asked if they had the toy because I recently was at another location and when I ordered the Happy Meal I received an older toy that was probably some left over stock. The woman working the drive-thru stated that "we have that Happy Meal". I wanted simple clarification because just because I can order a Happy Meal does not mean the correct brand toy will be in the box. The lady immediately became very rude and said "I don't know how else to explain it". When I tried to explain the background of the situation she consistently kept interrupting me. Eventually, she finally seemed to maybe understand what I was getting at and I was able to place my order. When I paid I requested to speak with a manager and was told I could do that at the next window. I get to the next window and the woman working that one hands me the food and closes the window at break neck speed before I can say anything. I walked in, looked at the manager who took one look at me and then promptly went into the back of the store. I'm sympathetic to the fact that McDonald's is not a fun place to work, I even I used to work in fast food myself. Therefore, I'm not writing this review in an effort to vindicate myself but rather just as a PSA that the employees at this McDonald's are seemingly looking to be dramatic. You can have the most simplistic question and they will find a way to make it a Herculean task. read more

When on a road trip, driving on one of the main arteries of highways... all that they offer at each exit are mainly McD or Burger King. Some also offer Taco Bell, Dunkin Donuts or very rarely see a chicken franchise. Restaurants are really a thing of the past and have to stick to Drive-thru take-out. Not worth the effort. Last night (Saturday, April 2), I was driving home and wanted a little something to eat since I had skipped dinner earlier even though I had tried another fast food restaurant but that's another story. In any case, this McDonald's closed to where I live and just off of Exit 28 on I-77 so I decided to give it a shot. Already had made up my mind for a Filet of Fish Combo. Pulled into the drive through and only one car ahead of me. Rest of the parking lot was essentially empty. Took awhile but I got to the order stations and placed my order. The other car was still ahead of me and they were taking their time at the first window as he was trying to pay for it. Finally got to the window and paid and pulled up. Almost 5 minutes later and the car ahead of me is still waiting to pick up his order. Pathetic Even though I had already paid for the order, i pulled out of the line and left. My time is more value to me than that and I'll just chalk this one up to experience and not go again. If you are driving through on I-77 I would not recommend this store. There are a lot of other fast food restaurants at this exit and the next couple that will serve you in a timely fashion. read more

service is absolutely terrible! I never write reviews so that's really saying something. I went to this McDonalds last night, August 12th. Saturday night. I'm talking about whoever was working both drive thrus at around 10 o'clock pm. It was a female, very shrill voice, doesn't need to be working in customer service. I ordered my boyfriend a Big Mac and then separately ordered a shake and fries. I NEVER go to McDonald's so i didn't know that a shake could be your drink when you order a meal. The elder Latino lady is very rude when you tell her you're missing an item. Two stars for service prior to my last visit. After getting food here from the drive-through on several occasions, I went inside one day. The inside (floor, countertop where registers were) was not very clean and there were a lot of supply items (cups, etc.) that needed to be put away.
