Clean Restaurant with Efficient Staff. I had a business meeting in the area and got a message that they were running about an hour late. I decided to have lunch and since this McDonalds was about five minutes away I decided to have lunch here. The staff was friendly when they greeted me and directed me to the touch screen to order. I did try it and found it easy to use. I ordered a la carte items, coffee, small fries, small nuggets and a McDouble with bacon and cheese. My food came out quickly and the fries were piping hot. My order was correct and the food was as expected. I have now been to this location several times mostly for the McCafe drinks as this is where I wait before my meetings nearby. read more

Came here on a layover and haven't eaten all day so I walked with my coworker in 30° weather at 12am and was denied to order because we didn't come with a car through the drive thru. We're flight attendants, we don't have a car here. The lady in the window said if we ordered online she could hand it to us but then her manager refused after we already made the order. Then she said if we had a bike we could ride it through the drive thru which again, we're flight attendants and this is our layover. Good news is the fries were hot! Ordered at drive through, used app code for points and to pay. Interactions at pick up were not friendly or inviting but at the first window ok. Burger bun was super greasy and not even sure how that happens. Not one napkin provided in the bad or at the drive through. Maybe I have been spoiled by other GREAT McDonald's, but the service at this one ranks at the very bottom. I walked in and the teen at the counter walked away. I stood there and finally said HELLO!! Another teen yelled she will be with you, walked to the counter to punch some numbers in so the other teen could take my order. I was getting my drink and looked back to the pick up counter only to see my order there. No one called my number or said thank you or anything. I did get a soft bench seat at least. While eating my meal, I saw 3 teen workers run into the women's restroom talking loudly. I guess at this McDonald's, customer service is not taught at all. I've been to this location several times over the last few months. Each time I've gotten a Filet-O-Fish and sometimes a small fries. Every time they've been hot and fresh. The service has been pretty fast and friendly every time too. So I finally found a decent Mickey D's? Four Stars! Wait, no...They did bump their Filet-O-Fish prices up 25 cents recently... I was charged for items I ordered but didn't receive and the manager refused to give me a refund. Total Fail with their "ice Cold" customer self serve system! The whole experience was sterile and rude, from the manager yelling at people for not following her procedures to the touch screens lack of clear direction with every customer it encountered. Service was fast and friendly, and they even offered honest suggestions when I asked about certain items. Breakfast is served all day nowadays, but only certain items. The full breakfast menu goes to 10am weekdays, 11am on weekends. We swung through for a quick breakfast: McGriddles and bagels. Now, I have never been a fan of McD's, but I've always been able to enjoy their breakfast. It is what it is: fast, fairly cheap, reasonably tasty, far from healthy. The Egg McMuffin is an icon, and they have added things over the years that are actually pretty good. I am tempted to go back just to try more of them, and I would never ever have said that before. Of course, having a kid changes your priorities, and as much as I love a sitdown meal at a funky new-to-me ethnic place, there is something to be said for consistency and simplicity. I apparently never learn my lesson, because I've been to this location a few times and every single time I get a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel and the cheese is cold, the egg is cold, and the bagel isn't even toasted. This last time I returned the sandwich, and one of the employees told me that's how they are supposed to be made, and proceeded to make it the same exact way after I stated that I was unsatisfied with it. My husband and I stop here several times a week on our way to work around 7am. The employees here are great! Very professional and funny. They keep the drive thru moving fairly quickly. One young lady actually recognizes our voices over the speaker and laughs when she repeats our order before we finish lol. I see why this place has 1.5 star average. I am staying at one of the Marriotts nearby it was a beautiful day I was craving fries so I walk to this nice looking McDonald's. They have one of those cool ordering screens so I try it and sale. So I walk up and let her know I would like a Mcrib. She says we don't sell those. I mentioned it was on the Digital menu and she literally scoffed at me and snidely replied that they even sold Mc ribs for years at this location. The food was normal McDonald's. The service here was probably the worst of any McDonald's I've ever been at. The speaker at the drive thru was really messed up and hard to understand. You know how they make fun of speakers on tv comedies? Yeah it was like that. On top of that they kept cutting me off in the middle of my order. I went to this location and bought my son's mother a chocolate milkshake. Later it made her go to the bathroom too frequently like the milkshake machine wasn't cleaned properly. Giving one star because I can't give zero. I have never written a review before because nothing has been this bad. I ordered a quarter pounder with cheese and when I bit into it it was pink all the way around. I know it won't kill me, but it was absolutely disgusting. When I reported it, I had to wait a long time before they even started making it (I could see them). After I got it, I asked if I could have some kind of coupon for the issue (many McDonald's do this) she asked her manager and in a very sarcastic tone said "we don't have any" and walked away. Do yourself a favor, BYPASS and drive to the next closest McD's. Wait times are absolutely ridiculous. Apparently the speakers are broken in the drive through but management refuses to address or acknowledge the issue. I've complained several times and they pretend as if they don't know what I'm talking about. Wait times were already subpar before they added the extra lane, but now it's insane. Drive by anytime of the day and the line will be wrapped around the building. Not because it's so busy but because they insist on keeping both lanes open when only one is functional. If you enjoy sitting in one line watching 7-10 cars order while you wait to be addressed, and the cars behind you beeping and looking at you like you are crazy, this IS the place to be! If I could rate this place less than a star I would in a heartbeat. I moved to the area about a year ago, and after my first visit I decided to drive a little farther to the East Broad location. Tonight I thought I'd give them another shot. I wish I would not have even wasted my time. I gave my order at the speaker and pulled to the first window. I waited there over 5 minutes, there were no employees in sight, and no one came to take my payment. The customer in front of me pulls away, but I wait a few more seconds before moving to the next window. Once at the second window (with credit card in hand) an employee starts shoving bags out at me before I could even ask if the first window was broken. After a few moments another employee starts making a scene, stating that I had not paid, so I waved my card in the air and raised an eyebrow. I was not trying to skip making my payment, I was merely confused as to why there was no one at the payment window and why I wasn't even greeted or asked for a payment before they started shoving bags in my face at the second window. They take my credit card and run back to the second window to process the payment, which took way longer than it should have (to the point I IMMEDIATELY checked my account for additional charges). At that moment I was so upset I didn't check my order or even ask for condiments, all the employees were glaring at me like I was a criminal even though I was more than willing to, and had paid them. I returned home and found that my order was incorrect. The "big" problem was my five year old crying because they FORGOT her Happy Meal toy. I decided to call and speak with a manager about the treatment I received, as well as address the incorrect order. I spoke first with Justina, who stated that she was a manager, yet was unable to do anything without approval from the Assistant Manager (huh?). So she got Assistant Manager Rick and put him on the phone. He was very rude, had no customer service skills, and there was an apparent lack of EDUCATION. I had to keep repeating myself, replacing complicated (not really) English terms for ones he could understand. I felt like I was arguing with my kindergartener. After several long minutes of explaining myself, Rick puts on hold (but not mute) and starts talking to the employees about me. They all had nasty attitudes and none wanted to own their mistakes. I could hear the conversation and it was not professional in any manner. I do not appreciate being bad-mouthed over a situation that was created by incompetent employees, not myself. I feel that Managers should have Customer Service skills, and be able to handle customer disputes in a professional manner. This location, however, boasts ignorant managers with no skills once-so-ever. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! read more

This place is ridiculous, never has food, cant not keep up with the lines, people are always getting out of line because they don't get fast courteous service. It is sad because there are not many places to eat near this location and they still cant get it together! I would not recommend going to this McDonald's unless you enjoy being mocked by the employees, lied to, and waiting for 40 minutes to get ONE burger and fries. This is the second time this location has shocked me at their incompetence. After I waited over 5 minutes to be helped in the drive through speaker in lane 2, paid, and then was asked to pull into a parking space while they make my burger I waited 25 minutes before going inside to see what the heck could be taking so long as there were several other cars getting served. The first girl I asked said " I don't do nuthn' with drive thru" and WALKED AWAY!!!!! Next person told me that there are other orders "sunshine". Next person said they must have forgotten to put my burger on the grill. I waited another 15 minutes!!!!! Finally get my food. I asked for my money back and they said NO! Instead they insisted on taking my receipt, and putting it in a "book" so that next time I could get a free meal the next time? So now I don't even have proof of order to fill out a survey. I finally get my meal, I asked if there were ketchup in the bag as I had asked for a lot originally. The girl said "yaaa I put it in the bag". Lucky I checked. Not even one packet. So I asked for some. She gave me one at a time until I had enough and rolled her eyes at me. Then I finally get to eat my burger. ICE COLD AND MADE WRONG!!!! There is raw onion all over the outside of my burger and in the box for the SWEET BBQ Bacon burger. No onion straws, one quarter piece of bacon, but a crazy amount of raw onion not on the burger but all over the box? So obviously not a fresh patty, it had been sitting back there and they probably were mocking me the entire time. I will never be back to this place.
