New inside

Felt the need to update this review as I'm really shocked as to why they have such a low rating. I've rarely had an error on my order and the place is super clean inside. They now revamped the whole space and you can order through kiosks inside and you get table service to your booth! The drive thru always moves quickly and now they have two different lines. Since the renovation I only ever see one line because they are churning people in and out of there so quickly. It's a McDonald's so the rating is in comparison to other fast food places... They are consistent and quick. Service is never an issue either.

I went in this morning to your facility and left upset because the wrong drink was given. I ordered a frappe and in result, I got an iced coffee. I know my frappes because I always order them but to deny me and agree, worker was arguing with me saying I ordered a caramel mocha. Yeah on the kiosk it says caramel mocha frappe. I ordered the same drink yesterday and got the right one. I decided to take what was given because I'm not going to keep arguing over this incorrect item. Then when I was trying to get their attention, one worker in the back was talking to the male drive thru agent in Spanish saying people were at the counter. He must have responded but with his back facing me and another customer who said her drink was wrong. I yelled yeah I speak Spanish too. But the female cashier or worker kept disagreeing with me about my drink. I just said you know what forget it I'll just make sure to report a negative review for terrible customer service. I ended up throwing out the drink because it was made incorrectly due to the ingredients being done wrong. I worked in McDonalds as a first job and never had I treated customers like this.

Nuggets

2nd time I've been here and the experience was the same. I guess getting customers in and out is more important than quality food and quality service. Went during lunch time and none of the food was hot. Everything tasted old and reheated. Nothing was fresh off the griddle. Nuggets taste like they were previously cooked days ago and reheated. Quarter pounder cold. Hands down the worst McDonalds I ever been to.

New Quarter Pounder with Cheese

No Fries. No crispy chicken sandwich. No chicken nuggets No hash browns. No chicken tenders. Needed a quick lunch today so decided to swing by before heading into ShopRite for a birthday cake. This area is always packed. I've recently had the quarter pounder since they started the new advertising about fresh, never frozen meat. I applaud McDonald's for fighting back against Wendy's marketing campaign. Kudos for stepping up and providing better quality meat, when Wendy's called you out on it. However, beware. This location just seems to put salt on everything. It just super extra salty. Also, no fried foods today? That's the essence of fast food.

Quarter pounder - all burgers should look like this!

Worst one yet. Fries are always nasty, burgers cold. Workers rude as anything. Rahway is way better

4/5 times your order will be wrong. Rude employees and they never fix the milkshake machine. methinks not.

The staff was friendly and offered great suggestions. Although it was very busy on Saturday afternoon, I was happy to find a few seats available with the background music at the perfect, conversational volume. I only came in to order coffee, but seeing all those delicious pastries and baked goods made me almost change my mind. There were several winter specials available, so I decided to try the dulce de leche latte. I really enjoyed it since it was bold and strong, but had a smooth, sweet finish. There were many tasty-sounding latte choices such as horchata, tiramisu, and the golden palms latte, which is made of turmeric. I look forward to trying one of those the next time that I return.

I ordered three fried empanadas (two chicken and one beef). they were okay - the crust is a bit different than I'm used to, but maybe the empanadas I typically have are baked. Also seemed to be more potato than meat in the beef one. The Americano coffee is awful. It gives mostly hot water with a hint of coffee flavor. I tossed it and didn't complain. Granted it's a cafe and not a coffee shop, but it's coffee! They have a plethora of other drinks that may be worth trying, but i will never order coffee here again. The decor inside is nice Also note, this is mostly a beverage and snack place. Very little food on the menu.

Amazing milk teas and fruit flavors (i love the almond milk tea, and strawberry fruity tea). The atmosphere is cozy which is great in an era of everything turning fluorescent and cold. But every door that closes gives us an opportunity to go somewhere else. Cafe Teasia this arctic Sunday night during the fallow holiday period was surely spartan ,modest in size and devote. There was a fellow with a backwards baseball cap on speaking with another someone far away on a laptop, mimicking the illusion of companionship. Another pair playing at the same human game we all play at was doing it in person as a couple or couple to be or two who were to have but these evening. The beau or fella was brashly loud which soon grew charming as I recalled when I used to try to wow girls with tales of meditation tricks and bragging I'd be dead in 2031 when the next Avatar comes out (or the equivalent in my time). So here I was coming in out of the cold playing the same innocent game for human connection. I wish I could warn him that her politely laughing may not be a good sign! Or maybe assure him it is - ah, but who knows what love is or indeed even what fun is. All i know was the last joint wasn't putting out any such vibe. Ah the severance. So I got two coffees to go because that's what coffees are for. But I also got my first ever "bubblentea". The mango bubble tea had these little pearl-like bubble balls that mash like tiny grapes in your mouth. Delightful candified moment. But here's what I'll always remember. The second i walked in, the cashier warmly greeted me and welcomed me with but three patrons here on a Sunday night - and the heat was out. She wore a coat. I didn't remove mine. Our breathe was nearly white but you know what? Not nearly so cold an experience as the last joint.

I come here only on Sunday mornings and often, when there is usually no line. For two years I have been doing this , I have received ZERO eye contact, no warmth, no engagement from this shift's crew--until today. That's why it mattered when one Asian barista this morning (who wasn't the one to take my order) warmly looked at me, smiled, and said something kind. It came right after her coworker placed my drink down, mumbled my name, and they turned their back on me when I thanked them -- but weren't doing anything else! Same energy when they took my order minutes earlier even when I was the only person in line. Like I owe them a favor for being at their counter! I've watched them and their colleagues treat me this way consistently. Mind you, I either only order a latte, a matcha, or a pastry. The worst part is that this treatment feels selective. I''ve seen this same crew be friendly, laugh, and engage with other customers--but from what I've seen for 2 years is that it seems only a certain type of walk-in gets this reception. It suck's to be flatly received and then notice the person behind me get a smile and a conversation, even if it's obvious that they're not a regular here ... at least not on Sundays. :) Again, thank you to that barista who broke the pattern for me today because I finally felt seen. I added a 3rd star out of gratitude. :) If you've found this crew non-selectively friendly, I'd genuinely like to know what day you come--because my Sunday morning experience has been consistently selective. I choose to be optimistic. And to management, let's talk about this.
