I don't get to visit DQ too often so this was a treat. There's a small parking lot right out front. Some seating inside and they have a limited food menu as well. I think mostly hot dogs and fries. Great local Dairy Queen that supports the community by hiring highschoolers in the area. I ordered a vanilla soft serve with chocolate sprinkles. I appreciate that they really loaded up on the sprinkles! I came on a very busy Sunday night. It was a long line but the ice cream servers did a good job. They had plenty of staff to keep up. It's a typical Dairy Queen and is kept very clean. They have one table, but this is basically a place where you take your ice cream outside. They have ice cream cakes in the freezer, non-dairy options, and ice cream bars, as well as hard ice cream There is plenty of parking. read more

Worst DQ I've ever been too. I was super disappointed have it a second try and was disappointed again. Milkshake was watery and sundae was sooo skinny I asked for more whipped cream they told me it would be another $1after they gave it to me and I already started eating it while waiting for my sons cone to be made. Yeah, it's time to revamp this review. Unfortunately, I'm throwing a star out the window. This location is located right next to Quick Chek. They have a small indoor seating area that consists of two long tables with stools for dining. They serve primarily DQ treats and Orange Julius smoothies. They have a freezer case that was filled with DQ's original ice cream cakes. They also have another freezer case that contained DQ's packaged frozen treats, including their popular Dilly Bars! We've been a few times, including when they had another "Customer Appreciation Day". During that time, everything was 50% off. For that, we stocked up on the Heath-flavored Dilly Bars and their chocolate chip cookie sandwiches. Ahh, their classic packaged ice cream treats. I could never say no to a bargain like that. Another time, my friend and I came here since we wanted some shakes. I ordered the Mint Chip Royal Shake, while my friend had the Oreo Royal Shake. The people behind the register had nice attitudes. After we ordered, we sat at the table to relax and consume. The Mint Chip Royal Shake consisted of a cool mint (or spearmint?) flavor, mixed with chocolate pieces and chocolate sauce. This was blended with milk and Vanilla soft-serve. It was a sweet and tasty experience. I would definitely recommend getting this on a hot day. My friend enjoyed his Oreo Royal Shake, which was obviously blended with Oreo cookie pieces. Ok, so why am I lowering the rating from my short, previous review? Unfortunately, the interiors of this location are very old and run down. The paintings are chipping, and the walls are cracking. Those are the obvious signs of aging. If that's not enough, then how about the tables? It seemed that they are never wiped down. Every time we came here, we always saw ice cream smudges on them. Is cleanliness not a priority here? The parking lot is shared with Quick Chek. The lot is actually a little small and tight, but I've never seen it completely packed. Overall, this place is okay for grabbing ice cream treats and cakes. But this place can certainly use a revamp and a "lecture with a lab" about cleanliness. read more

Came here after another DQ said they couldn't serve my daughter due to her nut allergies, claiming everything was cross contaminated. After reading a FB post from DQ corporate stating that any of their locations could serve anyone with food allergies by cleaning the machine prior to mixing the ice cream, we called Clark and the employee on the phone walked us through their entire food allergy process. They definitely go above and beyond with their allergy safety and they seem happy to do it. Great service and Clark will be our go-to DQ. read more

Wow, I remember going here when I played Clark softball in elementary school then middle school. I remember coming here with friends in high school and when I'd come home from college. Fast forward many years and I stopped in with my husband after not being to this particular Dairy Queen in at least 5 years, probably even longer. They still had the Clark softball pictures on the large freezer. I looked for one of mine on the far freezer, facing the counter, because I saw they had pictures dating back to the 90's. No luck. This place looks almost the same as I remember it. Families eating ice cream, kids dressed in uniforms, and teenage counter help. My husband and I ordered blizzards. I had chocolate with mint oreos. Dairy queen's location in Clark is a bit small. Place gets packed right after dinner time. It's even hard to walk out since the line is out the door. They definitely need to make the place bigger with a bigger opening. Other than that, staff is nice, going and fast. Parking lot greats insane since its next to quick chek and a busy dunkin donuts. Hands down the best Ice Cream in Clark! Clark DQ has been a staple in our family since I was a kid, and I hope to one day share this place with my children! I even worked there when I was a teen and I have to say that the place only gets better and better! The owners love their customers and will always find ways to accommodate their requests! Great DQ. We ordered a large sheet cake for our sons Bday party and the Manager was very patient with us. We weren't sure what we wanted and had to change our order and he was helpful and very friendly during the whole process. The cake was made fresh just as he promised it would be. We didn't want one that was from the case since it was the biggest cake they make and we didn't know how often they fly out of the cases. He told us as long as they had 24 hours notice the cake would be freshly made to our order. The cake was definitely fresh and everyone said how much they enjoyed it; some ppl asked where we bought it they liked it so much. Thanks to Clark DQ for providing us with excellent service and delicious ice cream treats for many years. We will be back again soon. read more

I come to this Dairy Queen often. Each time it was a normal encounter at the ice creamery. The last time I went (which would be my last time) was the worst experience I've had any place just trying to grab a milkshake. Before ordering I asked the young lady (Carly, Carline, or something like that) working if they had an ice cream known as "the Oreo cookie cheesequake". She said yes and made something totally different. I told her I didn't ask for a brownie sundae and she got an attitude. Said that's what I thought u asked for. So I repeated the name and she said "That must be a blizzard." So I just told her what I needed in it. She asked what size and I said a large. She sucked her teeth and said to the nice young man working the counter, "Can you just make this for her?" Really rude and RIGHT in front of me. I couldn't believe it. Even he was caught off guard with her attitude. He made it for me and seemed very uncomfortable especially when I asked what her name was. From here on out I'll go the extra half mile to Rita's or into Rahway to their Dairy Queen. Why deal with a teens attitude when they are supposed to making your ice cream. read more

This is a great place to go and get ice cream. It's like a typical Dairy Queen, offering the usual flavors of ice cream, milkshakes etc. I love that this location is open all year round, and it is a lot bigger than some other Dairy Queens I've been to. The only downfall is the parking. The street it is on usually has a lot of traffic, and the parking lot is small, so it can be a huge pain to park sometimes. It is also next to a few other businesses too, so that's another reason why the parking can suck. Other than that, everything is great with the friendly and efficient staff.
