I would not recommend them. I oreder 6 bottles that they had in stock, the charged my card. Email 2 days later that they only have 3, and for me to substitute the other 3. I received 2 other emails from them, finally they called me. This whole thing was a hassle, because they do not know their inventory. I said I would take the 3 if they wanted to pick up the shipping for the hassle and their error, they refused. I would not recommend using them, the credit reversal takes 7 days, that they caused to ruin my credit. read more

There's more than a few high-caliber "spirit shoppes" within a five-mile radius of where I live but I was on a mission (had to impress the father-in-law who had a milestone birthday just a week after Father's Day, no less) which is how I found myself in Clark. Was it worth the 30(ish) minutes in each direction? Without a doubt. Two levels (just walking up those few steps between floors - I knew I was in for a treat) absolutely packed with an absurd amount of items I'd never even heard of before. Tequila/mezcal bottles that look like works of art as well as my favorite gimmick - a gin bottled like your classic "3-in-1 oil" rectangle container, displayed on top of a legit-looking 50-gallon oil can. I was here for very specific liqueurs from Poland which I found pretty fast. The rest of the time I was drifting from row to shelf to row to shelf - amazed what other countries are crafting and importing over to us. (Even if I hadn't found the bottles I was after - this place would've been getting 5-stars just for the sheer number of Belgian beers they have on-hand.) From the selection (they also have some food items and Hallmark cards?!) to the staff to the pricing - this place is most awesome. Bottle arrived uncorked with contents soaking the box it was in. I feel the packaging could have been much better to avoid this happening. The tequila was a Christmas gift and now I am stuck without something to give them. I reached out to the company for a refund, but that doesn't really solve the problem. I've been a customer of them since they opened this location in Clark. Prices seem to be a little higher than other places in the area. There's parking behind it and there seems to be a lot of staff working there which is good. My only issue is that twice in the last year, I've called up to see if something was in stock. When I was told there was only one left, I asked them to hold it & I would be in within 30 minutes. Each time, they refused to hold it. Today they told me the manager said "first come first serve". I think that's a pretty crappy policy especially for a repeat customer. The last thing I want to do is drive over there and the item is not in stock - that's exactly what happened today (and I was there within seven minutes of making my phone call to the store). Then two of the workers told me that they sold out of what I wanted earlier today and the 6-pack I wanted was not even in stock when I called. Whatever. I decided to purchase a different six pack anyway, even though I could've went elsewhere; next time I probably will go elsewhere. There's about 10 other liquor stores within a quick drive from my house. I think Wine Anthology should change their policy and keep a 30 minute hold on an item if you call in, but that's just me. That sounds like good customer service. This place is always busy and I don't think that would hurt their business. Oh well. read more

Love this liquor store, my go to spot. Have been shopping at Wine Anthology for years now. Their new location is so much bigger and has maintained the same atmosphere as the last location. Easy to get to, plenty of parking. New location is ideal and the shop itself is huge and well maintained. The shelves are always fully stocked and I can always easily find staff out on the floor to ask them questions. They are always willing to give a suggestion and to look in the back for other options. I've even had them track down certain bottles and order a case for me. They seem to have a wide range of vendors they work with and do their best to find the specific bottles you are tracking down. Great beer section, lots of specialty beers and ciders. They always stock party packs as well which makes things easy when heading to a party. Wine selection is super, there is an expensive section downstairs in the cases if you are looking to spend over $50, there are wines over $500 in these cases as well. Upstairs are the more affordable options. The store puts up tags with wine notes often which is helpful. Has so many varities and within the varities there are multiple price points. Really does have bottles for all types of occasions. There are often samples in the shop on weekends which is nice. Great way to try out some new wines and see if it's worth buying a bottle. The liquor section is extensive as well. Major brands as well as some other smaller brands are available. During the holidays they get some great gift sets as well. They definitely keep new options coming in and I love roaming around the store to see what new products have come in. Best prices around by far! Reasonable and so pleasant to shop. This place is usually very busy but they keep the lines short. This is my go to spot! read more

A solid liquor store across from Target near the Garden State Parkway exit 135. Ample parking and usually not too crowded. Pretty good selection at fair prices and nice people. Note that online prices may be lower than in store prices--but you can ask them to honor the online price. read more

Ordered 6 bottles of whiskey on their website. The day after the order was placed, they claimed they ran out of stock and were not sure when they would be able to get more inventory. They asked me to cancel the order and put me on waiting list. But when I looked at their website on the same day, it showed the item in stock but with 25% price increase (I doubt if they could get a new shipment on the same day while they wanted to cancel my order as they were not sure when they would receive a new shipment). I decided to contact them about this and they basically replied they wouldn't offer the same price even it's on order. With this kind of issue, I will not shop on Wine Anthology again. read more

I wish Wine Anthology was closer to me because the prices here are the best I've found in the area. Plus, the store is well stocked and has a wide selection of bottles. It's in a shopping plaza, so there's tons of parking. No need to worry about that. The wine selection in the back is really good. My boyfriend and I usually shop at the Total Wines stores. Wine Anthology had some brands that TW doesn't carry. Wine Anthology sells some really good Spanish wines. Plus, the store will have vendor sales reps set up sampling stations. Last time we went, Rum Haven gave free samples and little recipe cards. I highly recommend Wine Anthology if you are in the area and would even suggest taking a trip there if you like to try different wines. read more

Ahh, this is probably the place where I would be buying liquor from now on (sorry ShopRite!). This place fulfills the spot for having a liquor store in the Clark area. It's located in the same parking lot as Target and Marshall's, but placed in the back of the general area. The location is perfect for anyone who wanted to buy some booze before jumping on to the Garden State Parkway. Don't let the name fool you. Sure the name of the store says "Wine", but this store carries more than just the various types of wine. They also carried various types of beer, malt-type drinks, vodka, whiskey, and gin. Of course we can't forget about the various cordial drinks, including Bailey's and Godiva. Pretty cool, huh? During my recent experience, we came here to see if they had Bailey's Chocolate Cherry flavored Irish Creme. Surely they had a limited quantity of this drink, and when we saw the price, we were positively stunned! They had it on sale, and it was MUCH LOWER than what ShopRite had asked for. We had to actually ask the nice saleslady for a price check, and she said it was correct. She also warned us that once the merchandise ran out, the price would be raised after they order new bottles. We actually bought two bottles because of the low price. The drink itself was good when we tried some at home. The prices here were really competitive! The prices with the sales tag on them were quite low. In regards to the regular priced items, the competitiveness really depended on what you were trying to get. I compared some prices with ShopRite, and it was either lower than that store, or the same. At least I didn't see anything that was priced higher than ShopRite. Overall, the store was very organized. I requested the store to ship me the box because I plan to give this bottle as a gift.the response elwas that they do not have a box and I can return the bottle. You might not guess it based on appearances, but tucked away in the corner of a strip mall in Clark lies one of the better wine stores in the area, one I prefer to the more heavily advertised / better-known Wine Library in Summit. Wine Anthology isn't the biggest or most widely-stocked wine store I've ever been to, but it does have a carefully curated selection of good wines offered at competitive prices. One thing I like about WA is that it groups all the 'good' (90+) wines together, so you don't have hunt to find the ones you're looking for. They've got many, many good choices in that section, including some harder-to-find bottles you won't see elsewhere. The beer & spirits selections merit 3 stars: fine, with lots of good choices, but nothing too out of the ordinary, and with selection ultimately limited by the smallish size of the store. A perfectly OK place to pick up a standard bottle or 6-pack, but maybe not the place to come when you're trying to track down something rare or special. I haven't placed online orders here yet, but other reviewers seem to have had positive experiences. For walk-in, the store is conveniently located right off the GS Parkway. read more

Great prices, but I'm wondering if these items are even real. Ordered from their online store and I'm questioning because their online prices for liquor are pretty low. Ordered bottles of the Louis Alexander Grand Marnier, the regular Grand Marnier, and the Grand Marnier 100 upgrading my liquor cabinet and the labels are a close match to the correct product but not exactly the same as the actual product. My original online order shipped 2 weeks ago and broke during shipment because of the way they packaged the shipment, They did reship because I had insurance but I'm spending over 200.00 and the shipment is packaged in flimsy styrofoam with no bubble wrap and the bottles were not in their original boxes but the box for the 100 was shipped along with the shipment. Just strange and questionable. They offer insurance with the shipment and I did add insurance. I later learned from them that had I not added insurance, even though they'd received the broken product back, I would not have been reimbursed, nor received a new shipment, I would've just been out 279.00!! What sort of business is this? They receive their damaged item back, an item damaged in shipment due to their negligent packaging and the customer gets nothing back because they chose not to add insurance? I'm glad I did add insurance but something's not right with this company and I will not be ordering from them again. I'll be taking pictures of these labels and sending them to the original website to verify the authenticity of these products. Buyer beware. read more

I've ordered online a couple of occasions via regular ground delivery and they have shipped to me within a week on time cross country, Seattle area. Packages were nicely sealed and insulated. The prices are better compare to WA state's. Recommend adding in that extra dollar on shipping insurance on your future orders is worth it and peace of mind.
