As far as beer - there's a fridge of tall boys, another of cold six packs/cases, and an aisle of 'room temperature', but you may not find the beer you want at the temperature you want, so this is not the place for anything past popular and cold. Did find enough to fit the bill, but some favorites/go-to's were not on hand. A LOT of wines and all different price points - have gone all ways with white, red, regions and price, never disappointed. Staff not really wandering around with advice but that is ok for me; they seem affable enough and willing to help if you need to ask a few questions. A solid choice. read more

This place has a great selection of everything at competitive prices. Their wine selection is big, compared to some of the other places that I went to. Aside from all that, they also have a cheese section, which gives out samples from time to time. What really surprised me was their section of imported candies and snacks from Europe. That section looked very unique and it even carried my favorite candy (Smarties from UK). Keep in mind that prices are slightly higher in this particular section since it was obviously imported. They also give out wine samples from time to time as well. The employees are nice and there's no problem with parking at all. It's always worth coming back! read more

Really Yelpers, no reviews for here yet? Very suprising. Standard assortment of booze, however the wine selection is very large and won't destroy your budget. The big draw here is the price and cheese. Prices and selection here are the best in the area. The great cheese selection and very knowledgeable staff have set us up with some great cheese memories. On the weekends they usually have a winery person there giving samples of the wine paired with cheese. We return a bit more often than we would publicly admit. So save a cheese and sausage sample for us, we will be there shortly. read more

Usually clean, friendly and well-organized...been going for years. Went in Saturday 11:00 am 6/13/20 and as expected, workers and customers all wearing masks. After taking 2 steps away from checking out, I realized the woman behind the counter was wearing a 3/4 plastic face shield and zero mask. She had handled every item and I promptly dropped everything next to my car and got out the paper towels and cleaner to disinfect everything twice over. From the internet : ****"Masks protect others around you from germs you are carrying. Face shields do the opposite, protecting you from being infected by the people around you. "It protects you, the wearer," Esper said. "But if you cough, because this face shield is away from your face, those droplets can still get out better than if you have a mask on, where they basically get sucked up by the mask itself." *** This is not the correct or safe protection at ANY checkout counter. There was absolutely zero protection from droplets getting on hands, counter and my purchases. Will not be going back unless to discuss medical bills, but time will tell. read more

This large, popular store is best for beer--especially craft beers. It also has a large cheese and other nonliquor items section. The wine selection is quite large--very good on, for example, American sauvignon blancs--but prices are somewhat lower at nearby Vine Republic, Total Wine or The Wine Library. I'm giving it a five because of the great selection of Irish groceries, including sausages, rashers, and black pudding (all frozen of course), Byrd's custard powder, Crunchie bars, and Taytos (but no cheese and bacon when I was there ... only cheese and onion, and salt & vinegar). (But I think cheese & onion and salt & vinegar are my two favorite flavors anyway ... I'm just saying.) They have all the other Irish Cadbury favorites, too, and they have brown bread mix. 1st visit here as big as it is I passed it a few times w/o knowing what it was the sign doesn't stand out. As another yelper said parking fine though you can not park directly in front in case walking more than a few steps is an issue. Nice sized store--good amount of selections(beer); friendly advice to find a particular type. I usually shop at Total Wine but this location is a bit closer & comparing the prices for 3 diff types of 6pk beers this place was exactly $1 more(coincidence?) which for me is worth spending the $3 unless I want to stop at the Walmart that's next to Total Wine Will check out the cheese/import sections next time & if it will change my rating I'll adjust. read more

AS a long time price comparer,.....comparing prices at Shop Rite Westfield is easy, ....after several months, S.R. Westfield is HIGHER in most categories,...ex; gin, scotch, vodka etc, and beers to many competitors....Total Wine, a nationwide chain has a huge selection and the lowest prices,.. independent stores like Witty's in Rahway has cheaper prices than Shop Rite...people get mislead by the Shop-Rite is cheaper...true for the supermarkets...not for the liquor store....after a year....those dollars saved by you,...will add up !!! read more

This place likes to PRICE GOUGE!! Everytime you go there its a different price. Now for the holidays all items are $4 to $20 more than normal, bought a case of Corona lite for $26.99 last month, now around $36 , My wifes favorite Sangria is $4 bucks more.
