NJ Wineseller will get my business going forward! I understand the need for extra precautions during this pandemic, but rudeness isn't a good business practice at anytime. I pulled into the Dittricks of Garwood lot today, sign on door said curbside pick available and open... I opened the door and you would have thought I was robbing this dump!!! I was abruptly told I couldn't come in and the door was slammed and locked in my face!!! I guess they aren't truly open to the public at this time???? A sign on the door and a locked door would have prevented me from trying to enter when clearly customers ARE NOT WELCOME!!! Glad I finally stopped in. Thought this was strictly a wine shop but pleasantly surprised at they have the best craft beer selection in the area. The employees are knowledgeable and quick to make suggestions based on experience. This is now my weekly stop-in to pick up a 4 pack of something new to try. They also sponsor some interesting beer/dinner events which I hope to try soon. read more

My review is mostly based off of the employee that helped my boyfriend and I when we stopped in one Saturday evening after an office holiday party at a nearby restaurant. It's a small place but had plenty of inventory to look through. We still have yet to find this type of Jack anywhere else but this other liquor store near where we live. The employee working asked if we needed help and we told him we were looking for this specific Italian Moscato. He knew which one we were talking about and said they didn't have it but gave a similar suggestion. He even went to the back to get a cold bottle for us. Similarly priced so we took it! read more

This review is only for their online shopping experience. I've never been into their store. Placed an order online and went through the shopping cart without issue. However, I received a notification later that they can't ship outside the state and my order was canceled. If you're going to be an online retailer, please have an ordering system that reflects your shipping policy. If you don't ship to certain states, don't process orders with a shipping address going to those states. Horrible user experience. read more

I've been going to NJ Wine Seller since I moved to Cranford in 2013. Over the past three years, they've continued to up their craft beer game. With the addition of 12% distributors, they are now getting crooked stave and evil twin, among others. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, this applies to beer and wine selections. The times that I've taken their advice, I have been pleased with their recommendations. The customer service is also very good. I recently had an old IPA that a distributor had given them, and when I returned it they were very apologetic and offered me another selection of my choice. This is a great place. Only thing they need is a growler filling station, but I know space it tight. ;) read more

I finally stepped into this gem of a liquor store. At first glance it is packed tight with beer, wine and liquor. I was very impressed with their beer knowledge and selection. Vic is extremely knowledgeable about beer. If they don't carry something you want and can get it...they will get it for you!! Two times I asked for them to get Otter Creek Beer Co. in stock and without hesitation they brought it in. The prices are in line with other shops with the exception of a few discounts. I have not had the luxury to peruse the wine selections to compare pricing but will soon. NJWineseller has become my go to beer spot!! Keep up the good work! read more

While they were out of what I was looking for he did everything in his power to track down leads and more importantly - he followed up. While they have a great selection, the staff was incredibly rude. I asked a simple question as a customer to learn about a product they were selling, and the person working in the back of the store answered in a very rude manner. I ended up putting my beer down and did not buy from them because of how he responded to my question. If you need a good selection to choose from, shop here, but don't talk to the staff. read more
