This McDonalds has god awful customer service and terrible food quality. I bought a meal here for me and my girlfriend last night at 11:30 pm, and went through the drive thru. The service was slow, which I can forgive as the place was incredibly busy at the time. However, while waiting for our order, the person behind us got impatient, and hit my gf's car on the way out. This of course isn't the location's fault -- the one positive thing about my experience was that the guy working the drive thru was really kind and sympathetic, and that was really appreciated. Unfortunately, our food was awful and didn't taste fresh. my soda didn't have enough syrup in it, and it wasn't good. It tasted so bad, I went into the lobby and got another drink as we waited for the police. The lobby was unlocked & void of employees (or anyone who could let me know the lobby was not meant to be open), so I felt comfortable coming back for a refill after the situation with our car was handled. This time, there was an employee at the counter working with someone. The employee, presumably a manager (from his button up dark blue shirt & slacks) notices me come in, and screams to me: "The lobby is closed, get the F*CK out!" I decide to quickly refill my drink before I leave, and the employee is right behind me watching me with an incredibly angry expression. This grown man towering over me made me feel incredibly unsafe, and I left as soon as I could. I understand being frustrated with customer like me -- I used to work in fast food. I recognize that working at McDonald's is stressful and not everyone can stay composed all the time, and I can especially understand his frustration as I continued to refill my drink. However, I don't think it should ever be okay to say that to ANYONE. Customer, coworker, friend, family... anyone. I had an awful day, and this employee made my day so much worse. If this guy couldn't contain his anger and couldn't refrain from screaming at customers -- I can't imagine how he treats his coworkers. I just feel like that's really vile. If you work a job you hate so much that you dehumanize the people you serve, and you feel comfortable verbally abusing them... you need to find another job. If you go to this location, be aware of people in line with you -- and be aware of what to do during a hit & run. Also, be aware that the lobby may be closed, and may be accessible anyway. And you may very well be verbally abused by a member of staff, who im sure has done this before. Take care of yourselves... and maybe get off of the free way an exit earlier / later if you're hungry. Slowest drive through I've ever experienced!! Always bad. Beware if there is any line!

If I could give 0 stars I would. They aren't doing anything but screaming and yelling in the back. Half of them just stand there. I was waiting for my cheese burgers and they came out with a grinch costume. They are all rude and just wander around. read more

The blonde hair kid with a big shirt is chill, but the rest of them did didily squat. No thanks. Do not come here. Awful just awful. Big mac was small cold and poorly made. Coke was awful. I think it's not really coke. Yuck!!!. Avoid at all costs. Go to Culver's costs more but food is awesome read more

This is not the first time this has happened. I ordered a bagel sandwich, it was hard, tried to return doors close, stood behind a car, reordered a fresh one, checked it was the wrong bagel sandwich. Reordered again 3rd time. This time bagel ok, sandwich a mess but the right one , but without the extra sauce I ordered. The excuse was " we only have 3 people here today" That shouldn't change the quality. I would have waited if it would have just come back the way I ordered it. Don't go here not worth the frustration. P.s. someone else had a problem and couldn't get in to tell them as well. Just close till you have more staff!! read more

over the past 18 years of my life, this McDonalds has served me well. So much so that I regard this McDonalds as a true home. The people, the food, the kiosk, the large middle table, the stools, and most importantly the memories have grown to be a part of me. I got 3 half full smoothies and was told to just drink it and then was told to pull up with a lot of attitude. Not ferd at all

I ate in, ordered from the self-serve kiosk, and grabbed a number to wait at my table for an employee to bring my order. Apparently they completely stop bringing people their orders when they are busy. After waited 20 minutes at my table (I was out of view of the counter) I went up to ask what was taking so long. I saw my order sitting in a to go bag at the counter waiting for my to pick up. What was the point of me getting a number to bring to my table? Food was good, but I probably waited 15 minutes longer for my food than I needed to. read more

Worse customer service by far, No respect or common courtesy. Employee refused to give customer service to an elderly (62) man instead asked him to use a kiosk which he knows nothing about to place his order. The employee still proceeded to run her mouth as she was in the right displaying her awesome customer service once again. We both walked out. read more

McDonald's - a large group of people waiting in line - Burgers Near Me - Chelsea, Michigan

No employee present at 4:45am this morning. Lights were on and we waited in the drive thru saying "hello?" for 10 minutes.

I went 3 days in a row around 9pm and lines were super long and no one was inside, I thought they were open 24/7??

It's McDonald's! I mean how can you go wrong..? This particular McDonalds makes the fried fresh to order... so they have that going for them. read more

Worst McDonald's experience ever. Ordered at drive thru, paid at first window, and when I pulled up at the second window I was asked to pull forward even though there was no one behind me. I politely said "that's ok. I'm good" and the drive thru worker disappeared. Less than a minute later the manager came up to the window and handed me a wad of cash - she said she cancelled my order since I wouldn't pull forward. Again, no one was even behind me yet (although a truck was about to pay at the first window). I was absolutely blown away. I asked for her name (Angie) and supervisor and a number to call to complain and she handed me a coffee cup with the McDonalds 1-800 number on it and she said "we are done". I guess so. read more

Thought I'd stop on the way home from metro airport and cute little Chelsea. Decided to have fast food at McDonald's. I have to say the fries were soggy the hamburger tasted old the tea was water down in the bathroom was filthy. Probably the worst McDonald's I've eaten in. read more

Gross. Just gross! There should be a no star choice. I have no clue why they don't update this location, as so many locations have! The kid section is always dirty & gross! The food is almost always cold or made wrong. The female manager is so extremely rude. But as you know, it's fast food. When your food is $1, the service & place reflect it! read more
