So, Culver's new chicken sandwiches intrigued me, so we stopped in for dinner one night. *New Spicy Chicken Sandwich (Our Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich still brings the heat! With a crispier crunch, juicier bite and just the right amount of heat, our New Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich is still made with 100% whole white meat chicken breast and brings more flavor than ever before with a three-pepper blend of spices. The new news doesn't stop there - this sandwich is served with crispy lettuce, ripe tomato, creamy mayo, and new perfectly crisp and savory fresh dill pickles on a new toasted Brioche bun.) -- the new toasted brioche bun was very good, very buttery. I'm really happy that Ann Arbor has a Culver's! I usually get the Culver's Deluxe and the first time I came here the inside of the burger wasn't super warm and the cheese wasn't completely melted (a bit cold). Still tasted good at least, though I wish it were more warmed up. The fries were great though! read more

I'm just gonna say it. I LOVE a Culver's moment! For fast a fast food place everything is very fresh and flavorful! I love their burgers but will sometimes dabble in their chicken sandwiches. I like that all their burgers are customizable in terms of toppings, veggies, cheese, etc. I never know what side to get because I love their onion rings and cheese curds! Their ice cream and concretes are where it's at! And I love trying out different topping and mix in combos. This is definitely a frequent go-to! We always do drive thru and even though it can sometimes be a long line it always goes by pretty fast and staff is always very friendly. read more

Wish there was a zero star option! We pulled off to the side to wait for our order as usual. 10 minutes go by...20 minutes go by and we still hadn't got our food. We watched 4 other cars (2 after us) get their food! After 30 minutes we pulled back to the window and inquired. The guy gave no reason or apology. This is the second bad experience I have had ordering from Drive-Thru at Culver's off Lohr Road. I specifically ordered a SINGLE Swiss Mushroom burger with Value basket but when I received my change from the $20 they only gave me $6 and some change back. The lady was very confused and called the manager Steve. I tried to tell Steve that with my senior discount, my bill usually comes to about $10-$11. Steve claimed they have increased the prices. When I came home, I discovered they gave and charged me for a DOUBLE Swiss Mushroom burger. I called Steve from home and he basically told me "oh well, sorry about that". Jeezzz!! Never had any issues with the other Culver's off Jackson Road. You'd think by now, the trainees and the manager would have learned how to resolve a simple mistake like this other than saying "oh well sorry about that". You can bank on Culver's being hot and fresh as a traditional restaurant but faster and more affordable. They remind me of a wholesome family place that still takes pride in quality. Hot soups, fried fish and shrimp. Burgers and an assortment of sides for everyone. When we don't want to waste time dining out but want better than the over processed fast food, this is the place. Drive thru can take a minute since all is prepared fresh. The fried shrimp options aren't on the drive up menu but just ask. They have it. Culvers is usually two steps above other fast food. This time it was only 1. The burger was smashed very thin and seemed overcooked. The fries were not super hot. Overall it was ok but not as good as usual. Still--waaayyy better than the microwaved stuff from other fast food burger places. read more

This is one of the more disappointing Culver's locations I've been to. While there was nothing wrong with the food or the service here (the person serving me as I was ordering was fabulous, and the food is as always great), I do have a lot to say about the interior of this location. Almost every single table looked like it wasn't wiped or cleaned. This left me wasting so much time just simply looking for a table that was decently clean. To top things off, the washroom wasn't entirely better either. It was quite dirty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. Tip for road trippers: If you're driving west towards Chicago or east towards Detroit, drive the extra few miles or stop earlier and go to the Chelsea location instead. We stopped here for a quick dinner before returning home. I ordered the North Atlantic Cod dinner which was delicious and crunchy. The food is delivered to your table. They didn't check that the order was complete so I had to go to the counter to request it. The tartar sauce packets are a generous size. The chicken tenders were very good. The salad was fresh and tasty. The highlight for my husband and daughter were the frozen custard Concrete Mixer which you can customize if you want and they were delicious. read more

You can tell from the tv commercials that the founder is passionate like many men, as am I for superbly made fast food. Culver's is organic beef and they haven't jacked up prices due to fake inflation scams other food providers are doing most notably Wendy's and Five Guys. Burgers, fish cod sandwich, fries and their root beer are great values and the quality is better than most if not all other burger places. Only complaint is for the last few months the shakes which I get infrequently are made of custard (eggs are added) and have a disgusting after taste. Like something isn't quite kosher. A sour like flavor and it somewhat disrupts my digestive system. They over sweeten their custard generally. The pecan ice cream was good but again there's some u explained foul after taste. I would much prefer they figure out this issue and move to just regular non custard ice cream. This would make them perfect. It's refreshing that their front line and drive thru workers are clean shaven, polite, and don't look like tattooed pierced disease dumpsters. We absolutely love culvers. We used to eat it all the time when we were in Wisconsin. The prices are high but you get what you pay for. Always high-quality. This location doesn't live up to their reputation in the least. We've had them forget to put food ($12 worth) in the bag, and refused to answer the phone when we tried to call them about it. The customer service is just awful at this location. Today I decided to give them another chance simply because we love Culver's and want access to it... mistake. I ordered a large cheese fry which is basically a large fry and a side of cheese. They gave me a cup with a tiny amount of cheese in it. I went in to complain about it and she said "that's the correct portion"... she didn't actually walk across the room to see how much cheese was in the cup. She just recited that. Using the cheese as conservatively as possible I was able to dip about half of my fries. When a restaurant charges the prices that Culver's does I don't expect them to nickel and dime me on a couple of cents worth of cheese. Will not be returning to this location read more

I essentially got vanilla ice cream as about half the size of the picture with barely any of the ingredients for the flavor.....I had to look hard for them. normally, I would chalk this up to a one time mistake, but it is a pattern with ALL Culver's now. far from the Culver's of several years ago, the food given you has no resemblance to the pictures. they were once spot on. so at the end of the day it's not a good value or experience, given the exorbitant pricing. I predict they will close eventually like all things that falsely advertise and provide little real value. you can get a large tub of breyers natural vanilla ice cream for less than what Culver's charged for a single scoop. I love Culver's. I am usually one who likes to try everything in a menu but not here. I have the same thing every time. A single butter burger with cheese basket. Upgrade the fries to onion rings and a Sierra Mist. It was real real busy at 5 PM it did take about a half an hour to get to the drive-through which the staff told me is pretty normal for this Covid time and at that time of day. But you know they bring that burger out to you so hot and fresh man it's worth the wait! Oh and watch your mail for coupons. I had a two dollar off coupon the other day. I should not have to jump through hoops to receive something that I paid for, after the fact. Poor and rude service all around. i the two piece fish dinner it cam with two pieces of fried cod , small fries, sole slaw, and bun with butter. The fishwas impressive there were two large pieces of lightly battered cod, mostly fish, with light batter and a package of tartar sauce and a lemon. I was surprised to see so many sub 3-star reviews for this location. I've gone here way too many times and I've never once had a bad experience. They do get busy and it's not uncommon for the cars in the drive-thru to stack deep heading toward Lowe's, but that's not the fault of this location, the service has always been good to me. I also don't recall ever receiving the wrong order or anything that didn't seem fresh, it's all good here! Culver's is a magical little place and as far as fast food joints go it's S-tier! I honestly think the Culver's Deluxe burger is the best fast food burger in the country (at least that I've had), and I've had them all - from Five Guys to In-N-Out, to Steak N Shake, to Whataburger, etc. There's just something special about Culver's. So, we are regular Culver's patrons...several times weekly. Usually at Howell location (which for the record is absolutely the BEST OF THE BEST! Great people and always on the spot with service and timing !!) and sometimes at Brighton... so when we were in Ann Arbor for other reasons we found the Jackson Road location and pulled-in. Spent over $40 for three meals-dine in. Never asked if we wanted dipping sauce, no straws with floats and shakes, and poor table service ... when we requested ONE little ranch dressing, we were informed "we have to CHARGE you for it!" Even after the 'manager' was engaged, same response. Virtually every other Culver's we visit offers dipping dressings at time if order and also ask if more is wanted ... wtf .... We will NEVER again take our business to the Jackson Rd. Location. It's worth the drive to go to Howell or Brighton !! read more

High fives to the drive thru staff! I came through yesterday with my pup in the passenger side and a rumbly tummy. I ordered my chicken sandwich and pull up to pay at the window. My pup? He gets super psyched to see the human on the other side of the glass--tail wagging, trying to get loose of his harness, whining, the full nine. He desperately wants to say hello. The woman on the other side? SO nice. "Would your dog like a pup cup?" "What's a pup cup?" I ask. "A small cup of ice cream!" "Oh yes, he would love that!" And he sure did! He licked that 2oz pup cup clean. It made him SO happy. We ended up eating our meal/ice cream on the patio enjoying the fresh air and the treats. A great experience for sure! read more

I've only recently started visiting Culver's as a whole, and this location is pleasant, clean, and consistent with my orders; no wrong orders in about 6-months of visits. I live how they prepare their burgers - the soft and sometimes greasy bun, patties with slightly burnt edges, and fixings on the bottom bun. The fries and O-rings are usually hot and crispy. I haven't ventured too far from those menu items, but I have no complaints this far. We come to the area a lot and they've become our oh-crap-what's-for-dinner staple. Very disappointing! Ordered grilled chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, Mayo along with dinner for my family on way home. My one night I don't have to cook. When I got home sandwich had no lettuce tomato pickle. Had one tiny piece of onion and about a dime size of Mayo, chicken didn't cover half the bun and was sinewy. Hard to bite or chew! I thought I'd stop in Ann Arbor cuz Brighton always seems to leave out part of order or/and omit toppings requested. The customer service here is subpar. One experience I had: my order was wrong 3 times. The employees were visibly bothered that I was asking them to correct their mistake by the 2nd instance. No apologies either. They made it seem as if it were an inconvenience. Additional experiences with the employees is that they have been annoyed with customers and only care to chat, hang out, with each other.
