I usually don't do bad reviews. But this place has a bad reputation.... I decided to give it a try anyhow, because it was just the most convenient for my hungry toddler. I ordered on the app, and they still messed up my kids meal. I don't think they even read the ticket. I ordered a 6pc chicken nugget meal, BBQ sauce, with extra fries, and a toddler toy. I didn't get the BBQ sauce, didn't get the extra fries, also didn't get the toddler toy. And the pop I got myself was nasty, no flavor, the bag needed changed out for sure. read more

Went and got a Quarter Pounder just 5 mins ago and got home and the burger Bun was hard as a Rock like normally. Video added and thanks for not giving me the receipt so I couldn't prove it even if I wanted to go drive thru that snow all over again and pay over 10$ for a large drink and fries with a rock hard burger 12/07/21 So I just made a quick stop here after picking my son up from school. But the bun was a ROCK. In the video I posted you can see how much pressure I had to apply just to break the bun. The fact that someone sent it through KNOWING it was OLD speaks volumes. This McDonald's in Brooklyn, MI is really not well run. They constantly mess up our orders no matter how clear we are on what we want. Today I got a spicy chicken sandwich instead of the crispy chicken deluxe! Not the first time it's happened mind you. Waited forever, fries got ice cold, took forever just to get the pops, were told that it was not supposed to be spicy chicken but they gave it to us any way after 15 minutes of waiting, didn't give my nephew his apple slices or apple juice in his happy meal, and of course they don't answer their phone. I stop at this McDonald's about once a year and it has been a terrible experience anytime I've gone there. Today I waited 25 minutes for my food. Several people walked out while waiting, one woman even after paying because she said she couldn't wait any longer. Several teenage kids working there and none of them appeared to have a clue what they were doing. I realize this is the only fast food option in town really but save your money and eat anywhere else. This is the absolute worst McDonald's in existence. Plan on getting old fries. I'm sure the fries are not meant to be covered in flakes from dirty oil. The fish sandwich is a gamble. It either is a left over fish fillet from the previous shift or if you are lucky enough to get a fresh one it will be demolished in the box when you get it. They do not throw out the bad old food they serve it to you in order to avoid doing their jobs. The place looks filthy. Plan on them making you wait then sticking their face in your bag to see if it's your order. They wouldn't want to read the receipt; no they just put their face in the bag. Quick stop for a burger. They mandate self service kiosk for ordering. No one wiped down the screen the entire time we were there. The food was quick but not fresh. As a long time customer to McDonalds, I myself have recently found it lacking in many aspects. In particular the customer service has been rather poor, listening to gossip between employees while in the drive through, witnessing horseplay, being given partial orders and discovering the error after driving nearly all the way home, is a consistent issue with the Brooklyn, Michigan franchise location. That being said, my biggest complaint as of now isn't how badly the franchise itself performed when we last visited, but rather that the Angus menu items were removed from the franchise menus. The Mushroom and Swiss burger was truly a delight and I gladly dolled out the money for this overpriced meal just to satisfy the craving for one of these delicious sandwiches. Given the choice between the standard meat patty from McDonalds and an Angus burger, Angus trumps the old meat patty every time. It was the only thing that brought us back again and again. With it's removal, now we have bland, boring food. Bring back the Angus menu folks, you made a mistake in discontinuing it. read more
