The wings are delicious! I would rather they be crispier but I took care of that when I got my stuff home. The flavor and juiciness is on pointe. My husband really liked how finely shredded the pork was on his sandwich. The Mac n cheese was a touch dry but the white pepper flavor gave it depth and it wasn't bland. Nice family operation. Super inviting and happy to see you. I'll definitely be back again when in the area.

But if you keep walking, it opens up into another section with booths. It honestly looks like an employees-only area at first, so we weren't sure if we were supposed to go back there There's also a side entrance that leads directly into that dining area, which makes a lot more sense once you figure out the layout. The place looks a little worn down, but honestly, it adds to the charm and gives it that classic local spot feel. I ordered the burger, onion rings, and cheddar jalapeño poppers, and everything was really good. Bonus points for serving Pepsi products! Always a win for me! The guy working was also incredibly friendly and was somehow managing both cooking and serving. He immediately noticed how confused we looked walking in and kindly pointed us toward the seating area in the back. Great food and genuinely welcoming service. Also, I want to note that their kids meals were only like $3.75....this is perfect because my kids never eat their food!!

I had the quarter pounder with cheese, an order of onion rings, and in order of mushrooms. Service was fast and polite. The burger was good, as always. Onion rings are great and the mushrooms. We're okay. Don't let the ambiance scare you away. The food has been good as long as I've been coming here.

Our waiter Eric and the 2 hostesses (a young female with glasses and a younger gentleman )were so friendly. We had our 10 month old, it felt so comfy and non judgmental, every staff member stopped to talk to her and smile! Eric never asked if we needed a drink just brought it before we were ever empty, he was quick and definitely cared for each table the same. The owner came and talked with us and it seemed like he stopped at every table to check on them and converse a bit. Gosh even the bathroom was clean and didn't smell! Plus the place was so well decorated, such a great vibe and for the theme as well. I have not ONE negative thing to say about this place. We will be back and telling everyone about this place. Now excuse me while I dream of their honey fried chicken and brisket Mac n cheese.

They were out of ribs so I went with the brisket (lean) and the pulled pork along with a few sides: baked beans, mac and cheese, corn bread, coleslaw, and sweet potato fries. Everything was very good. I always think lean brisket is a good idea (to be a bit healthier) but then I get it and wish I had done the regular. But for lean it's still pretty good! Sides were also good. Together it was a bit pricey (would love some combo meals on the menu) but it lasted a few meals for us so it wasn't too bad. Quick turnaround on the carryout, too!

We were there on 8-28-26, I ordered the brisket, pulled pork and the burnt ends, got the baked beans and the coleslaw, topped it off with a Dr.Pepper. The wait staff and casher were great and very helpful. I'll start with the brisket, It had a faint taste of smoke, it was a little rubbery, I'll give it a 3. The pulled pork had a flavory smoke taste, I'll give it a 4. The burnt ends, well I'm not sure what that was that I ate. It wasn't burnt on the ends and even with the sauce, it that didn't help. I'll give it a 0. Now the coleslaw, not sure if was coleslaw or they tried to make potato salad and missed the mark. I'll give it a 0. The baked beans were Outstanding, along with the corn muffin and the Dr. Pepper. I read this to my wife and she said it was about right. She is from Michigan.
