I pay 5 everywhere else I go in town to get four shots of espresso over ice. then let's talk about the brisket egg burrito, which is good but not worth the $10 I spent on it. $7 $7.50 sure I could understand but $10 is crazy. This location is located in the buddy's gas station, for it being in a gas station it's always clean, they've got a few booths and tables to sit at. Brooklyn is a very small town so having a nice coffee/breakfast place is a great option to have besides McDonald's. I'd choose timmys every-time. The staff is always friendly so can't complain there either. I love Tim's so I'll be back whenever I can.

Had the pleasure of eating these today at the "Huron River Day" event at Gallup Park in Ann Arbor…read more They are hands down the best doughnuts I have ever had. I finally have found a doughnut that I love more than the ones at Franklin's Cider Mill! They are so fresh and fluffy with a great spice combination inside. They coat them in a sugar/cinnamon mix. I'm sure they could make them without the coating too. I also purchased a cup of apple cider. It tasted just like apple juice and not like cider at all so that was a disappointment; perhaps it just wasn't shaken before she poured it. But, hey I'm here for the doughnuts so it was ok. I have seen them out and about at quite a few events around Michigan but the line has always been way too long and so I haven't had the opportunity until today. Now I understand why the line is so long! The employees were also very pleasant and friendly. I spoke to one and they mentioned that you can hire the truck to come to your event. Thought that was pretty cool. Well I will definitely be looking for your truck at all future events. You guys are great!

Out back, the beer garden was in full glory--sun filtering through the trees, tables packed with happy people, and a blues-rock-country band tearing it up like they were in Nashville. The vibe? Think summer camp for grownups with craft beer and fewer rules. The soundtrack? Slide guitar, twangy vocals, and the occasional couple dancing in front of the stage. The drinks? Cold and local. The staff? Friendly! We came for a quick pint, stayed for the show, and left with significantly more joy than expected. Would I go back? Absolutely. Would I dance in front of strangers while holding a burger in one hand and a beer in the other? Um, no. But Shady's, you had me at Beer Garden.
