The city crepes is a fine little restaurant, with a cozy atmosphere and wide variety of crepes and drinks. They use paper products and real silverware so they are more eco friendly. The service was kind and quick, definitely a good spot to grab breakfast or lunch!

What brought me to City Crepes located in downtown Jackson is the fact that they offer vegan options for both their savory and sweet crepes. The decor has a French cafe feel to it with the paintings and pictures of cities around the world. Classical jazz playing in the background gives it an escape to pleasant familiar nostalgia. The service was pleasant and friendly. I ordered the vegan version of the Uptown crepe. It was satisfactory and there was nothing to not like about it. The flat bread, pancake was a little gooey than what I would've expected. It was hard to cut. The price-portion ratio is somewhat reasonable, in other words you get a good portion for what pay for. It's not overly priced. I regret that I didn't choose from the sweet crepes menu. I feel that I would've enjoyed it more...but I can't order two in one day, can I? I will have to try to come back another day. Je reviendrai.

Downtown (front), Farmer's market (bckgrd), both wonderful dishes.

Great food every time, atmosphere and workers are so nice and helpful. A must go to for savory or sweet crepes.

One of the best additions downtown Jackson has had in a very long time. Amazing food and the ladies that work there are so sweet. Can be busy at times, and prices are a little expensive- both are totally worth it in the end.

Interior has a cute metropolitan vibe with a hand drawn menu. Bathroom is small but very clean and decorated nicely. Took a while to get our food, but the kitchen is open to the front and we saw our crepes getting made! People behind the counter are very courteous. Downtown and fire hydrant are highly recommended.

Specials on the right are always a good option too.

Went here while visiting friends who live in Jackson. Wow! These are some big crepes, definitely shareable and definitely worth it! We had the special, the apple cinnamon crepes with bacon and caramel. Perfect combo of sweet and savory. Crepes nice and soft and chewy, not overdone and definitely tons of everything. Thing was stuffed like a George Costanza wallet! They also have great coffee! Enjoy your crepe with a Nutella coffee and chill in the very casual cafe-style dining area

Confession: I've never had crepes before today. It seems like, hers at least, the filling is to be to star of the show with a super thin and flaky batter. I got the Farmers Market, one of the only vegetarian options, with mushrooms added. I could be wrong but the mushrooms seemed canned, not the end of the world but I was hoping for a pop of flavor I the pretty basic flavors of spinach, tomato, and Brie. The real highlight of this was the herbs de Provençal. Holy herbs. The meal was bordering on bland but the herbs saved the day. Think I would try a sweet one if I returned, loads of vegetarian options there :)

Great local place! We came in during the Sip and Shop, ordered a savory crepe that was generous in portion, and the steak was tender and well cooked. The Fieldhouse was yummy and filling.

Food can take a while especially during busy times but worth the wait in my opinion. Not a lot of seating and I wish the chairs were a bit more comfortable. I would give this place 5 stars, the only thing that is holding me back is that it is pretty pricey. For 2 crepes, one Americano coffee, and a 15% tip it was $44. Price point is rather high, but as an occasional treat, well worth the visit.

Their Crêpes are the exquisite I mean they all look the same from the outside, but man those are some quality Crêpes. I had the pesto (Tuscany chicken) and that thing filled me up. I wasn't thrilled with the price, but with the price comes a huge portion that makes it worth it. Plus the side of fruit was a great touch. My wife and I enjoyed our meal and yes they are so big we couldn't finish, so who doesn't love leftovers. The service was great and patient as I figured out what I could eat with my diet and came and checked on us too, sweet, thoughtful and kind is a great way to describe the service. This is a winner and hope it stays in town for a long time. Give it a go, you'll enjoy your visit.

As super lovely and relaxing vibe. They have a counter that says "Order Here" but there was one other table who ordered at their table and received the check at the end of their meal like regular table service. They offer a guest WiFi network, but definitely would not recommend taking any meetings or calls from this space; it's definitely not that kind of cafe! Food (5/5): I ordered the French Classic, which is egg, cheddar, and ham. It was SO delicious and generously portioned. I honestly didn't expect to feel so full, especially since this crepe wasn't as filled as some of the other ones on the menu, but wow! The crepe itself has a very lovely flavor and well complimented by the thin layer of egg inside. (Sidenote: I've gone back another time since I started writing this review, this time trying the 9am and the Lean Machine crepes. Both tasty and generous with the fillings, but I think the French Classic is still my favorite among the three. You get to taste the crepe itself more, and it's really good!) Service (5/5): I had very obviously portioned off and set aside half the crepe to take home and the staff very skillfully clocked it and handed me a box for it without me even asking. Everyone there is so friendly and attentive, and it really makes me want to keep coming back (and I will!).

I ventured out within a couple of hours of viewing to experience Le crepe on Washington Avenue in downtown Royal Oak. I was greeted upon entering while my 2-high top table was arranged. The ambiance and vibe in this small space was extremely relaxing and the staff friendly. Tiekeya, the owner, was helpful when I explained that it was my first time. My server was her niece, a young lady with a tremendous smile who shared she was a student at MSU as I was wearing a pullover displaying her Alma mater that I know well from paying so much tuition over several years for my children. I started with an enjoyable vanilla cappuccino which was prepared to my liking. I did not feel rushed at all, but the service was attentive and consistent throughout my dining experience. The restaurant was quite popular on this morning and I heard others mentioning the segment on the news. It was funny, as I was texting a couple of friends (foodies) from work who were very curious to hear about my experience. I was sharing quickly upon sitting down as this was a nice treat. I reviewed the menu which had several unique choices and I decided to order The Green Goat which was a crepe containing pan-seared chicken, bacon, Granny Smith apples, and caramelized onions with goat cheese and a little arugula. The combination of flavors was delicious in every aspect! Wow! As wonderful as my main course was, the sweet crepe favorites were even tastier. I chose the Cinnamon Sweet Cheese with bananas which included a crepe containing the bananas and a house cinnamon cream cheese icing that was fantastic! Thanks again to Fox 2 News as I will gladly make the 24 minute drive to enjoy this experience again. I also was thrilled to meet Chef Dennis in the kitchen who I had seen on the news. Do enjoy if you venture out and there is free parking for the first two hours in the nearby garage. Le Crepe was so good that I returned the next day and enjoyed a wonderful local brewed enjoyable coffee while I waited for a table. On day #2, I was really struggling to decide which crepe to try from so many descriptive choices on the menu. I chose the James Dean which was also fantastic once again. It was a delicious combination of flavors of scrambled eggs, a slightly spicy homemade sausage that was a perfect complement, and red skin potatoes with a cherry sauce drizzle. Tiekeya assured me that I can try one of the others when I come back on Tuesday . It is wonderful to meet such a kind business owner and it was refreshing to experience the staff interaction and she shared that I have now become one of her "regulars". I can't wait to come back and introduce family and friends to this amazing menu of tasty treats.
