Coffee mug and laptop on one of their front tables facing the bar counter and menu.

Great people, great coffee, great food. This is such an amazing community focused spot. They deliver on amazing coffee (try the Royale and their Affogato) and have a cozy atmosphere perfect for getting some work done or catching up with friends. Local art is for sale and rotated through so there's usually something new to look at and celebrate Jackson every trip. They really strive to connect with community and lift Jackson up.

What a cute little coffee shop. I was working in Jackson today and had a few hours in between meetings. I did a quick coffee shop search and this place popped up so I decided to try it. It has a nice large parking lot, which I always appreciate. The staff member who took my order was so nice. I decided to get a lavender latte and breakfast sandwich (they serve all day) and everything was delicious. The have a very cute space. I sat on a comfy couch with a coffee table and the coffee table had colored pencils available. It was so cool. If I had a notebook with me I definitely would have drawn something. They showcase art along the walls that is for sale--everything I looked at was pretty reasonably priced. Great little chill spot. I highly recommend it.

First time to Vitos this morning. Such a cool little coffee shop, can't wait to come back in the summer and enjoy the patio! Coconut chocolate latte is delicious. Thank you ladies!

Being recent transplants to MI from NY...Vito's Italian cafe provides me & my husband with all the NY vibes, snacks, bevies and family feels we get homesick for. Think its time to join the Mug club. We love the Dirty Chai Lattes & recommend the desserts!

Turkish coffee. Made right in front of you. Expect to wait a short while but it's worth it. If you like the taste of comfort try this!

See all

Nice community cafe, small business that's not a chain. Stop in for their homemade Doughnation breads too.

Best coffee in Jackson! Service is great too. Went there for the first time incidentally and have been addicted to their coffee since then.

The drink was great but the employees were terrible. I watched a girl berate and yell at the girl…read moreshe was training then immediately turned to take my order as if nothing happened. I felt guilty just by standing there while it was happening so I have no idea how the trainer was not embarrassed by her behavior. No wonder they're always hiring- I wouldn't want to work there either.

Place an online order. Wait behind 3 cars in drive thru. Get to speaker to be told, "I'm sorry, you…read morecan only pick that up in store. That's just our policy." I mention I've never had that experience at any other Bigby. I then ask, so I need to wait behind these cars to get their order (since I can't back up), park then come in when you could just hand me the drink thru the window? "Yes. That's our policy." I walk in. The drink is sitting on the counter, no joke, less than 10 feet from the drive thru window. I politely mention I've been to many Bigby shops and never heard of that, and the polite decent customer service thing to do would be to hand me the drink at the window and just let me know this odd, never heard before "policy." The other worker says in a snotty tone, pointing at the receipt with my drink, "It says in store right there on the receipt." I tell her the app says nothing about coming inside the store, it simply says, "Pickup: at store." She then replies, well your drink wasn't ready anyway. So you're telling me the drink wasn't ready once I got to the window, so it would hold traffic up, yet it was sitting on the counter when I entered the store less than 60 seconds later? What exactly is this policy protecting? And why the need to point that out if it clearly was ready by the time I got to the window? I get it you have a policy - then share that policy on your app and tell your employees to get an attitude adjustment and be kind. I don't work for Bigby and I don't know your policies. It's a simple drink order, so why make it complicated for paying customers? This is the closest Bigby to my home. I won't be back and stick to Starbucks for my daily coffee and sandwich on my way to work from now on.

A day at the lake deserves a treat for lunch, and after a quick trip up to Round Lake (next to…read moreDevil's Lake) this fall, my better half and I decided to grab a bite locally. The Sandbar Cafe was a new spot that we hadn't tried yet, and after perusing the menu, we decided to make that our stop for lunch. The idea of a soup/salad/sandwich combo in some permutation of those choices was the perfect thing. I decided to go really wild and try the quiche of the day, a leek and bleu cheese quiche, as well as a bowl of the sweet pepper soup. With both items warmed up, it was just the thing to chase the chill in the air away. If the stuffed sweet pepper soup is on the menu when you visit, order it with confidence. It was the perfect balance of a little sweet a tiny touch of heat, and hearty enough to be filling. The quiche wasn't my favorite (I think I'm just too partial to a quiche Lorraine to be adventurous with other ones), but it was still good. Served with a cookie on the side, it was a filling and delicious meal. The owner was friendly and helpful, providing recommendations for the menu and chit-chatting with us as we ate that day. At the end of the meal, she even offered to recycle my Diet Coke can from lunch that day -- the eco-friendly aspect definitely gave the place a boost in my mind! I'm already looking forward to my next visit to the lake, and another helping of that sweet pepper soup!

Refuge Coffee House - Yoder's Cinnamon Rolls = $4.50

Refuge I want to start by saying that I really do love this…read morecoffee shop and I recommend all coffee lovers to try this place out. They have the best espresso in Branch County and I won't get my coffee fix from anywhere else. The shop is cozy and clean. Most of the staff seem to know their stuff and they've all been very professional and friendly. It's one of the most welcoming coffee shops I've ever been to, for sure. They sell Yoder's cinnamon rolls and they're sooooo good! 10/10 highly recommend. If my review was based solely off of what I've said so far, I'd give them 5 stars across the board. Unfortunately tho, I tried their breakfast this morning and wish I hadn't. I don't think anyone should pay $8.50 for the bagel sandwich I received this morning and hopefully these photos will help prevent others from feeling as disappointed as I do. My "everything" bagel had barely "anything" on it, meaning it was extremely hard to tell it was an everything bagel, it looked and tasted more like a plain bagel with a very thin layer of cream cheese on it. I know no one asked for my 2 cents and I don't want this to come off as if I know their business better than they do, because I don't, but if I were to be asked to give them a POSSIBLE solution to prevent this from happening in the future, I would suggest posting their food menu on a blackboard, with prices clearly written out, and where it's easy to read. The drink menu would be a perfect example of this if the prices were listed. A bonus would be if you had the menus & prices on your website as well so it's easy to find! I work in Coldwater and we order from you quite a bit and one thing we've all mentioned is wishing we could see a full menu so we know beforehand how much our orders are gonna cost and I know some of my coworkers have wanted to order food and didn't because they didn't see any prices listed. On a positive note, I absolutely love: -the hand written messages on every single cup. -the miniature Jesus keychains you sell. (My coworker talks about the ones she got from you quite often.) -how clean the entire shop is. -the sign above your bathroom sink. -you put a photo on your website that shows exactly what a drink is made up of, so people can actually see what the difference is between a latte and a cappuccino, etc.

We were in the area and thought we'd try this coffee shop- we weren't disappointed!…read more We enjoyed the general vibe of the place. Clean, cozy space. Scripture printed around, friendly staff. Neat details, like the use of pews for seating. The day we went, their internet was down and we had to go to a nearby atm to get cash out, my understanding is that that isn't usually an issue. Large selection of drinks and the option to do a "flight of lattes"- which is unique and fun. We each had a different beverage- two February special lattes and a chai tea latte- we enjoyed them all! We also tried some different food options, an egg cup, biscuit & gravy and the turkey, bacon, ranch wrap. Again, everything was tasty! Although it would be a 35-40 minute drive, definitely looking forward to going back!
