I decided to go really wild and try the quiche of the day, a leek and bleu cheese quiche, as well as a bowl of the sweet pepper soup. With both items warmed up, it was just the thing to chase the chill in the air away. If the stuffed sweet pepper soup is on the menu when you visit, order it with confidence. It was the perfect balance of a little sweet a tiny touch of heat, and hearty enough to be filling. The quiche wasn't my favorite (I think I'm just too partial to a quiche Lorraine to be adventurous with other ones), but it was still good. Served with a cookie on the side, it was a filling and delicious meal. The owner was friendly and helpful, providing recommendations for the menu and chit-chatting with us as we ate that day. At the end of the meal, she even offered to recycle my Diet Coke can from lunch that day -- the eco-friendly aspect definitely gave the place a boost in my mind! I'm already looking forward to my next visit to the lake, and another helping of that sweet pepper soup!

Often asked to "pull forward" which makes wait times even longer. Always ask for a receipt because most of the time your order will be wrong. Quality is also variable.... uncooked fries, greasy burgers. Availability of items is also inconsistent. Morning menu often excludes breakfast burritos. Frequently out of ice. Often out of Diet Coke. Whatever they are doing in the morning needs to be replicated in afternoons/evenings and weekends.

In the past, Starbucks has gotten itself in hot water for not letting people use its bathrooms. So I was surprised that when I arrived today, they said I needed to be a customer to use the bathroom. I said Okay fine, I will buy something once I'm out of the bathroom. They said no, you have to buy something before you use the bathroom. I have Crohn's and other issues right now, so this was rather disheartening. I bought a croissant for $4 and was given the bathroom code. The croissant was delicious, admittedly, and they warmed it up for me, but had I known they had reversed their policies, I would have stopped somewhere else. The other reason that this location gets one star from me is because I almost tripped in the parking lot, there was some sort of goo in the lot right next to where I parked - It didn't look like a spilled drink or anything like that, so I'm not sure what it was.
