We love going to this McDonald when we want Mcd's. The food is usually super fresh, meat is actually seasoned, and the ice cream is the classic style. Whelp, unfortunately last night was nightmare zone. First of all it took forever to get the food and food taste totally different than usual. i just thought it was due to them being overwhemed. Come to find out today my husband and I have a case of food poisoning. And this is the only thing we had that was the same to eat last night. read more

I drive about 2 hrs to work and this place always forgets something in my order in the morning. I ask for sausage BISCUIT with cheese they give me a sausage mcmuffin without cheese. Worst. No wonder they have a B rating. Super dirty. They dont care whether their dining area is dirty or no. They put employee meals on the same fridge with the products theyre selling. I get to the drive thru this morning and was sort of greeted. He said something like, "Welcome to McDonalds would you li..." then there was a pause so I just decided to order. "I'm sorry can you repeat that?" Was the response I got. So I did. Ordered a coffee with my breakfast with a Splenda inside. "On the side?" I was asked. "No, inside," I said. Nothing on the screen changed. Oh well maybe he got it... he didn't. I pull up to the first window and make sure to get the kid's name: Ricardo V. Okay second window. This kid never even looks at me. Has his head turned towards the inside, holding my bag out of the window... I wait before finally grabbing it. Still doesn't look at me as he holds my coffee out of the window. Doesn't ask if I needed anything else: condiments or anything of the sort. I guess I'm just lucky to have gotten my food at all. There's a lot to be said about customer service, or in this case, lack there of. Yeah it's fast food, but there's gotta be a higher standard that these kids are held to. I always go through the drive-thru here since it's close to my office. They always forget napkins, ALWAYS. Im not going to turn back around for napkins but sucks realizing there isnt any until you've left. Ive also waited in line once for 15 minutes before giving up and going down to jack in the box down the street. read more

Ever since they did the remodel the drive thru is always messed up - not sure if it's because they're still trying to adjust to the remodel but it's ridiculous. Long wait in the drive thru line then sent to the parking spot to wait because your orders not ready the last 2 times I've gone. Most of the staff is nice but it's annoying. read more

Great place for a fast and good breakfast and coffee. You can't go wrong with a $1 large coffee.

The only reason why they get a 1 star is because they have the best carbonated strawberry soda. Drive thru is always a 5-10 minute wait. I ordered a strawberry soda only to find out they don't have it and didn't mention it when ordering through the speaker. Worst service, lazy people, but nonetheless best strawberry soda. read more

I have been to this location twice in the last month. I walked in once and I went through the drive thru this morning. When I walked in it was busy, line to the door, and only one person taking orders. When I got home I noticed my order was not correct. I did not get a straw for my drink. Very poor quality control. I am not from the area & these workers make me feel so welcomed . The cashier was funny & nice . The girl who brought us our food was very generous & asked us for anything else . I see the place is very sanitary . The music makes me feel at peace . I recommend this Mcdonalds 10 out of 10 . read more

Terrible service!!! They have plenty of staff yet they just talk and talk and with each other and about each other. I waited 20 minutes for my order and received it cold. Had to return because they forgot to give me half my order. When I asked for ketchup...the employee just threw the container filled with ketchup on counter so I could help myself. While I waited for the rest of my order. Other people's orders were also not right. How do u mess up an order for coffee and a pie?? It's possible at that McDonalds. Very disappointed. City of Carson has been working to beautify, bring new businesses and have people from other areas to shop in our city..this type of customer service and experience is below expectations. Corporate should look into the staff and there management!! read more

If you go through the drive-thru, make sure to check your bag before leaving. They have a policy of not giving you any fricking napkins or something. I tend to eat a lot on the go, and i've visited her many times, and it sucks to find no napkins when you sit down and eat. read more

whatever you do... don't buy the sausage burrito in the morning. this mcdonalds tries to save money by giving you smaller portions for egg/sausage. the first time i thought it was a mistake.. i complained.. 2nd time same thing. all you will chew on is tortillas and very little filling. read more

Me and my son were at McDonalds Avalon today around 7:30pm. I ordered (drive thru) 20 pc nuggets and 2 spicy chicken sandwiches. Right after paying, my son asked me if he can have 1 spicy and 1 regular sandwich instead. When we reached the last window, I asked the supervisor named Frank (Latino looking) if it's possible to change one sandwich to regular. He said ok with eyes rolling and snobbish. When he handed me the sandwich, i told him that he looked mad on my request....and the worst reply that I got from a frontliner leader is to even turned his back on me still with eyes rolling. Calling the attention of higher leaders from McDonald's Avalon. Please let FRANK understand that request for change in orders can be a day-to-day encounter with customers. If he has short temper on this kind of situations, he should not be working in Quick Service Restaurants, I hope that when given a chance that he'll be my server again, I hope to see a different Frank. read more

this morning i had a horrible experience at the mcdonalds on delamo an avolon,i pulled up in the drive threw an ordered too egg mcmuffins no cheese an no meat ,wich they charged me 5 dollars an some change out of a 10 dollar bill,when i get to the window the lady handed me four peices of bread with nothing on it,i asked her what happen to my eggs an she stated that i just wanted to egg mcmuffins with nothing,Really? so she takes the bread back an told me to wait on the side,so 10 min.later still no egg macmuffins so i asked for my money back ,the manager a mexican woman brings out 2 dollars an some change an said sorry about that ,an i told her i gave them 10 dollars an i had my reciept,so then she realized there mistake an still 6 min later here she comes out with too eggs in a box with no muffins,now im 30 min late for my meeting ,this is at 8:15 this morning,so i told her to please refund my money an she said ok just wait here an she never returned 15 min later,so i left with no food or no money,ive been here for 48 years an im a wealthy buss.owner, an be damm if i let this happensto enyone else in my city.i will never return an i will push the issue to all my buss.partners an family an freinds not to eat there.mr.walton read more
