When I came back at almost 9pm, I had to go back and forth with the manager about what happened. He said he understood about catching the shuttle and he had to make a call to his boss. After 45minutes of waiting and going back and forth, he said his boss checked the camera and I left even after waiting half an hour for 2 burritos, so I get no refund and no burritos!! This is a restaurant inside the Emporio Resort that is open for lunch (buffet) and dinner (a la carte). I went here for dinner on two nights. The interior of the place is really pretty and relaxing. There are floor to ceiling windows on one side of the restaurant and it had an overall theme of greenery and beige tones. It was a very pretty place to eat in! Service here was slower than at the other restaurants of this resort. COVID Precautions: patrons and staff were required to wear masks. Food: We only got starter bread one of the two nights we ate there. The bread was soft and warm, and the butter made it all the better! Crab soup: I don't remember the actual menu name of this. This was my least favorite item. It was more of a broth than soup and it was just salty rather than having any rich flavor. The crab itself looked nice, but there was no crab meat to eat. The carrots were good, but that's about it. Ceviche: This dish was the same as the one from the Cantina, but the presentation was better. Ceviche from both places were very good! The fish was partially cooked, which is preferred anyways since raw food sounds a little risky while in Cancun. The ceviche is the perfect level of sour to make it taste fresh with the veggies.
