The employee working the protein station threw a skimpy portion of steak on top of the rice -- and it looked different than usual, so we asked about it. Since we don't eat spicy food, we asked if we could taste it first. He begrudgingly gave us a little cup with two pieces of meat in it. It was super spicy, so we told him we couldn't eat that. His response? He grabbed the bowl and flung it into the trash, turned around, and said "oh, what protein would you like now?" That's how it all started. From there, the attitude only got worse. When another staff member told him we were displeased with the service, his reply was "oh well, life goes on." But he still wasn't done. As we were leaving, he yelled "Have a nice night!" in a loud, sarcastic voice -- loud enough that everyone in the restaurant turned to look. He didn't say a word to any other customer coming or going. It was clearly aimed at us and meant to mock. For identification purposes since no employees wore name tags: he was tall, around 6 feet, with dark hair, working the protein station. The frustrating part is the rest of the staff were polite and professional.
