This is the first completely negative I've ever given. This store never gets our order correct. If you order online they never have all the things in store that they have online so they just leave it off and don't tell you. Today they didn't have all the sides I ordered so I only got 2 in my order. No one told me. We wanted to sit in the restaurant and eat but not even exaggerating- EVERY table was FILTHY. So I asked if they could clean it and they told me no. They were TOO BUSY and didn't have enough people. I counted at least 6 so how many is enough to clean the tables? GROSS. read more

Wow, the place here in Canandaigua hasn't been that good compared to other ones, But today 1230 pm january 9th the bowl was so bad i had to throw it out. Whoever prepared the food today put absolutely no care in it. The guac. was barely mashed and taste like the didn't add any of the other ingredients needed, The steak was overcooked and chewy, and the rice was so undercooked i nearly chipped a tooth! Chipotle used to be so good! But now it appears you guys have to many workers that just dont care! I've been to this location before and it has been good! I've been to this chipotle a handful of times and always just expect that it won't be as bad as I remember. It's always messy, the service is usually poor... but today they didn't even put our burritos in bowls or dishes of any kind. We were just handed a foil wrapped burrito, so we made placemats out of napkins to put on our dirty table. At least two of the soda options came out as light brown water. I LOVE Chipotle and as the parent of two small children I appreciate that they have a drive thru- you can even order ahead and grab through the window. As a transplant from the NW Chipotle was a staple of my diet- ordering out weekly or so due due to the close proximity. While this location is 25 minutes away it is much closer than Victor. I also like running errands in Canandaigua. A great addition to the fast/casual/takeout offerings in the FLX. read more

Woof! First of all i need to start with I love chipotle but this place was a disaster!!!! We stopped last night and it was crazy busy!!! As we are ordering our bowls the cashier yells out I hope everyone is paying with card because we are all out of change- well I was going to pay cash because well cash is gold and they wouldn't get charged with the service fee.... But oh well! No sweat! All of the tables are dirty so we wipe one down with paper towels. We go grab our drinks and there is no ice! Yuck warm pop but we roll with it.... so we sit down to eat our food and my daughter a long dark hair from her bowl she rolls her eyes and keeps eating because the line is stupid long and she is hungry!!! In my bowl is an entire onion (sort of chopped but cooked and still together) I have to use the bathroom before we leave it is stinks like poo (which is ok cause it's a bathroom) but as I am going. To the bathroom you can smell the urine scent- the scent that only happens when someone has peed on the floor and it sits there for ever!! Like days!! Which tells me they have not cleaned in a really long time. All of the garbages were over flowing..... This was by far the dirtiest restaurant I have been in a long time!! read more

My wife and I were totally disappointed with our most recent meal at this Chipotle. We both ordered the smoked brisket bowl and the brisket was inedible. Three out of 5 bits of brisket were totally gnarly, tasteless and gross like chewing on thick rubber bands. While we generally enjoy a quick meal at Chipotle, this experience has moved them way down the list of dining options. read more

Absolutely terrible! I placed an order for a barbacoa bowl with all 4 salsas, cheese and sour cream. I received a bowl of sour cream with some cheese and few tomatoes that I'm guessing are from the mild salsa. No meat, no corn salsa, no green or red salsa, just sour cream, cheese and a few tomatoes. I thought it was a joke when I opened it up, it was not. I don't even know how to try and eat this because they only provided forks and it's a bowl of liquid. read more

Came here an hour and a half before close and they were out of several items (no hard shell tacos, no white rice, no steak, no veggies, no sour cream, no cheese). The kid who just made my bowl was rude and has no manners at all, says "out of that" and "what do you want" when asking customers what they would like to order. This place has completely fallen down hill over this summer - i'll drive to victor to get food next time rather than paying full price for the amount of food in 1/2 a bowl that had no more than 1/4 cup rice in it. I ordered ahead and waited in the drive through for over 5 minutes before someone came to help me. There was no line at the drive thru or inside the restaurant. I wish there was an option for zero stars. I have never ever experienced a Chipotle as bad as this one. I waited in the CHIPOTLANE (drive up window) for over 20 minutes! When waiting in my car I could see 2 employees standing there and they wouldn't even acknowledge me. The whole time I could clearly see that my order was ready sitting next to the window. Then to top it off the girl working the window was rude and then the manager Brandon promised a full refund if I called 1-800-CHIPOTLE however I was only offered free chips and guac ( I don't even like guacamole). After this I talked to someone higher and they gave me a free entree but still the company didn't stand behind what their employee (manager in this case) promised. I think this could be one of the worst chipotles I've been to. Staff was friendly and helpful so my review is not based on them, but the food. I placed my order for a salad and a bag of chips online. I got there a little early so I wasn't expecting it to be ready but staff acknowledged and brought me my order when it was finished. I went out to my car and noticed there was no dressing in the bag so I went back in and they told me they didn't have any. This was a little disappointing because I would've just gotten a regular bowl instead of a salad if I had known this, but I don't think there is a way for them to tell you online that I know of ? Anyway, I asked for light hot sauce on my salad and it seem like they put extra ...so a lot of it was soaked in hot sauce and inedible. The lettuce itself was soggy. And my fave .. the corn salsa .. it seemed a little old, and not as fresh as it normally is at other locations. The chips were either stale or undercooked so again, inedible. I feel obligated to write this review. I have been to many chipotle's in many different states, but not the one in Canandaigua. I was craving it (and Rio tomatlan was closed for lunch). Honestly, I was hesitant to go after seeing the reviews. The people working were friendly, efficient, and it was like every other chipotle I've been to. I got a salad with all the toppings, and chips and guacamole. Everything was consistent with my other visits to other locations. Not good service at all. My fiancé and I went in for a to go order. They amount of food was very skimpy. We had to ask for a side of sour cream 2xs. Told the cashier it was a to go order 3xs. Second time going here since opened, order on app for pick up! First time I asked for cauliflower rice and they put actual rice, was annoyed. Second time better, but there is barely ANY cauliflower rice and my friends was mooshy. Third bowl was great so I'll give em a 4. The chips are good as well, and the guacamole and queso. Chipotle located in Canandaigu, NY.....please pull your heads out of your ass. My boyfriend went to pick up our order at the specified time and had to wait 20 minutes, they were out of the drink I ordered and still charged us, my order was wrong (correct on the label, but not correct when I opened it). Please don't use the pandemic as an excuse. It's been a year and a half now, you've had time to adjust. I don't think I could be paid to eat here. I've tried twice to get food there and ended up giving it away. I've even simply tried to get chips. The chips were far to salty for someone who loves salt, and a lot of them were soggy and stuck together. I've wondered if I was just ordering the wrong thing, so I tried many of my friends orders and it's just god awful. My mum won't eat it either. It only gets one star because they offer tofu. And yea I tried the tofu and it's repulsive but I like that it's one place that offers it. read more
