Nice clean McD with clean bathrooms. Ample parking. Staff were friendly and helpful to someone who doesn't order from the app. Typical food and prep. No complaints. Had a couple teenage knuckleheads enter the restaurant and cause a disturbance which the staff handled professionally and discreetly. Kudos to the staff! Seems like post pandemic customers are more difficult and often take it out on innocent staff. The parents of those unruly teenagers need to handle their responsibility and parent. If I could leave zero stars I would. They literally get our drive-thru order wrong every single time we order from them. Which we do often because we are in sports and need to eat late in the evening. It's either we ordered an item and it completely is wrong. For example, we ordered chicken nuggets and got a hamburger patty and the chicken nugget box. We've ordered customized where it will stay on top that it is custom but you open it up and it is not. For example, we ordered a bacon double quarter. Pounder opened it up and it was a Big Mac. These are just a couple examples. I really like this McDonald's. As someone else said, it's very consistent. Food is hot, staff is friendly. Wait is short. I order very basic routine meals (Big Mac or cheeseburgers) with no substitutions and mostly use the drive thru. I had attempted to place an order through the Mobile App to pickup on 7/4/2023, between the hours of 2:30pm-2:45pm. After arriving between said times, parking in the Mobile Order parking spot #1 (there are 5 parking spaces to choose from at this location, located just across from drive through window pickup #1 (three windows in the drive thru lane). Upon arrival, I had started placing an order through the Mobile App, while parked in Space #1. After several attempts of trying to 'Pay' for my order, I would receive a red pop-up notification at the top of the screen within the app, stating that internet connection had disconnected and to try paying again. This went on for a good while. I had left out of frustration as I would need a confirmation code to pickup the order inside the place of business. I was never taken to the confirmation screen within the app, providing a code so that I am able to pickup my specific order. Arriving home in the evening from a days work, I've noticed in my email that I was provided a confirmation receipt for the order placed during my attempts to authorize the charge and a pending charge matching the receipt. I immediately contacted tech support from the app and started a case. Tech support and customer care is not able to find an order placed in my account for that day. They have tried reaching out the owner with no response. read more

I waited in the curbside spot for 15 minutes for a very simple order watching DOZENS of drive through customers order and get their food. After 15 minutes I went up to the restaurant and asked if they were ever going to bring out my order. They argueed with me that they never got the order, but then they showed me a receipt with my order printed on it, so I don't know why they would be saying that they never got the order. They eventually got me my order, but never once apologized for the horrible service. My family stopped at this McDonald's on our last day at big bear before we drove home to Las Vegas. We didn't anticipate a quick breakfast to go as awful as it did. I spent $40 on breakfast to eat outside with my family on the patio area with our dogs. The patio was very nice, clean and a good option for us since we had our two puppies. I went inside to place my order on the kiosk and it had me type my number for my table placard. Once I placed my order, I went outside with my family and put my number on the table. 20min later, no food still, my husband went inside and kindly let them know we were outside incase they couldn't find us. He was immediately met with attitude from a Hispanic lady (possibly pregnant) who refused to look at my husband unless he had the receipt. He came outside irritated, so I went inside to show them our receipt. Our food was sitting on the back counter all over the place. They forced this very kind black gentleman to help me and refused to acknowledge my existence. The Hispanic lady proceeded to talk badly about me in Spanish to her male Hispanic coworker. They did not know that I speak Spanish so I asked if there was a problem that they'd like to address me and not to each other. They both refused to even turn around and look at me. The black gentleman than helped was incredible. He was the only good person that works there and clearly needs a raise. Shame on you McDonald's and your costumer service. The service here has gone down very quickly. I just left and the "manager" I assume, an older white male, does not care about providing good service and is not fit for his role. The store closes the app, even when they are still open inside! He kept directing people to kiosks that did not work. Even when directly asked to help with an order he refused and said to use the kiosk. After trying the kiosk, I waited 10 minutes to be helped at the register. This was slow food, not fast food. I had two orders and he still said I couldn't get more than three sauces, even ketchup!! On the app, you can order as many sauces as you want. This was an awful experience. I asked how much the combo was nine dollars and something oh shoot no OK just the senior coffee and egg McMuffin. The credit card to the girl and she tells me it's like $10 like no no no I just wanted the sandwich senior coffee. She didn't like that so she redid it OK fine and by the way, there was no one behind me so I wasn't blocking anyone during this conversation, so my egg McMuffin had also asked for a glass of ice. She says in a very nasty manner have a nice day and slams the window. I don't have my cup of ice so I honked the horn. She wasn't about to come back so I just honk my horn, so she finally comes back with a cup of ice. Worst service ever. Spent $82.88 on breakfast sandwiches for my family and everything was wrong. Taking the order the girl was obviously struggling to comprehend, even when we double ensured they were McMuffins at the window... and after getting home we find out there's not one correct item other than hash browns, so we called the store. Elena the manager said there's nothing they can do but refund and recharge the entire order, make us drive all the way back with the old food and pick up the new, with more charges to come. Also made us wait a solid 20 minutes the first time. Elena was extremely rude and unapologetic, and hung up on me when I said tried to pass the phone to my sister.
