I hardly ever do a review on places, but I felt the need to today. My daughters and I placed a mobile order so I wouldn't have to unload the kids to go inside. The drive through line was incredibly busy so we just parked in the curbside spot. I checked in and 15 minutes later we still hadn't gotten our food. So I had to unload both of my kids to go inside. There were soooooo many people standing in there waiting for their food. I finally got someone's attention and was not treated in a very friendly way. I explained that I placed a curbside order and still hadn't received it. Almost 5 minutes later, the lady practically threw my food at me on the counter and said they were just waiting on my nuggets. I took our food and drove home...everything was cold by the time we got home(5 minutes awa), so it obviously wasn't fresh food. It was a very disappointing experience and didn't feel valued as a customer at any given point. I don't think we will be going back to that location. read more

Second time I stopped by after the remodel. Two Weeks ago I was served by a really rude manager. Meal arrived after 40 mins with no apologies. Gave them another chance today. Horrible experience. Stressed out under staffed crew. Lobby filthy. Front counter only takes cash and mobile order didn't work. Naturally I and others walked out dissatisfied. This could be the worlds worst McDonalds.... I ordered two big mac meals for myself and my pregnant wife. When I got home, I noticed that BOTH burgers only had one patty. I love this McDonald's and am appalled by a lot of the reviews. Bee Cave is notorious for stuck up rich people who expect steakhouse service from an inexpensive fast food chain. They've renovated the entire McDonalds which is very interactive and chic as of recently, and even before the renovation it was already very crisp and clean. The lines in the drive-thru are usually long and sometimes take a bit (I imagine it's all the Lake Travis soccer moms), but if you spare a little bit of energy to go inside it's a lot more timely and lots more hospitality. The employees are very personable considering what they're paid and for 11th and 12th grade I would go once a week during lunch hour and the employees handled the stress well. Someone in the reviews complained about people speaking spanish behind the counter, but it's because they're talking to employees and the only time they need to speak English is when addressing a customer. Also, dont give a 1 star if you go to McDonalds during breakfast time and expect lunch catered specially for you. read more

Of all the McDonalds on planet earth, I'd rather go to the Bagdad location. Typically you can count on consistency at McDonalds. This one however is like playing Russian roulette lunch. 9-10 times they will give you the wrong food, never are they in a good mood, and they set the record for the slowest service in the fast food business. This location has been a serious letdown for years now. They close randomly close early with no rhyme or reason, despite their store hours being clearly listed on their windows and websites. When I got my order the bun was hard as a rock and the what was supposed to be tartar sauce looks like some kind of white creamy substance that doesn't really look edible. This used to be the only McDonald's i would visit and my favorite. I pass by on my way to work and it was always a quick and easy stop. The employees were always super friendly, my order was always correct, and it was fast! I stopped going for a little while because i moved, but started again recently. In the last week and a half I've gone and my order was messed up four times!!! Four! Which means it was wrong every visit. The first time i let it go. The second time i called and got no answer. The third time my bf went and once again it was incorrect. Today i asked him to go back for me and low and behold, completely incorrect once again! I asked him to check the bag before he left but he was rushing to get to work and forgot. We both work and don't have time to go back and get our order corrected and shouldn't have to. I understand that mistakes happen but i think it's completely pathetic that four out of four orders were incorrect on top of longer wait times. I drove 20 minutes to get my girlfriend her favorite beverage, a McDonald's Diet Coke, only to be served the wrong beverage. At the drive-thru window, an employee told me they were out of Diet Coke, then corrected herself saying they actually did. If she had just told the truth, I could've gone to a different location. But instead, someone made a bad judgement call to deceive me and tell me it was what I wanted. It's improbable that this was a careless mistake. I think this was an preconceived deception. Apparently the published hours of being open until midnight are just a guideline and not a fixed rule, because everyone inside was gone without having the consideration of turning off the lights. Luckily the cars in front of of us finally figured out no one was going to wait on any of us and pulled out letting everyone leave. This location is known for horrible counter service and getting orders wrong in the drive through, now this , I guess your staff wanted to get an early out. There are not many options after 9:00pm for a starving 12yr old who just played a 2 hour soccer scrimmage. Never in a million years would I choose McDonald's over chik-fil- a/Wendy's/Sonic... but we are limited. Young lady at drive thru window handing out food; you are kind, polite and have a genuine smile... despite the nasty rain. You will go far in the service industry if you choose. Young man/boy taking drive thru orders and collecting payments at first window; I sincerely hope the service industry is not in your future as you will starve to death. Horrifyingly disappointing McDonald's. I wasn't expecting much because, let's face it, it is McDonald's. But, I've had good food from McDonald's in the past. Bathroom was semi clean, I've seen worse. Neither of the soap dispensers had soap in them. Fries sucked. Tasted awful. Both burgers tasted sour. The buns looked like they had sat out in the sun for days. We paid for a kid's toy and didnt get it. There was trash sitting in top of ALL the trash cans in the restaurant. Trash was also on the tables and floor. The restuarant itself felt grimey and gross. I am not one of the so-called "stuck up rich people" Kaitlyn C. complains about in her review (and I strongly suspect she's wrong). I'm one of a great many people who drive by this particular McDonalds (TX Hwy 71 near Bee Cave and the Galleria shopping center) on the way in and out of Austin, and I still give it only two stars. Here are some of the reasons: (1) The staff is woefully undertrained or uneducated, and occasionally (with my wife) somewhat surly. Our experience, in three visits over about six weeks (which will keep us from going back), has included order takers who speak with very thick Mexican accents and sometimes have difficulty communicating with English speaking customers who don't simply give a name or number from the menu. (2) When I went inside the restaurant and elected to order at the counter rather than the touch screen kiosks (which were all occupied), the counter person seemed confused about how to take my verbal order (for a quarter-pounder without cheese). I don't care to order at a kiosk; that's apparently (according to other reviews) a reason to treat me differently. (3) On Dec. 16, 2018, around 4:30PM, my wife wanted a cup of hot chocolate (usually great at McDonalds). She was told by the drive-through person that they were busy, and "don't have time to make any of the special drinks." When my wife asked politely if they were short on staff, the woman said "I'm not supposed to talk about that." A minor thing: when she got coffee instead, she had to ask for a napkin and sweetener. My point is that the low ratings for this McDonalds probably aren't random, and very probably aren't just from "stuck up rich people." This participular store seems to be ignoring customer needs and service in favor of cutting corners on staff and staff training/supervision. They're giving a usually-reliable, predictable franchise a bad name, at least for us. read more

I bought my daughter a 4-piece chicken nugget meal. When I got home I opened the container to find no nuggets. Instead there was a vomit-like substance inside of the container. After minutes of staring at it in disgust I figured out that it must be tarter sauce. I called them, and asked for my money back. He said he'd do that and hung up on me without getting my information to credit the card back. This place has really gone to shit, I've worked at sonic for awhile and I promise you fast food is one of the easiest jobs you can have. My meal was simple a quarter pounder with cheese bacon no mustard no pickles, but they got it all wrong and when my husband went in to tell them the cooks had to re do my order about 3 times. And even when your not done with your Oder the employees will legit stop your order for you and get off the mic. I can't stand this place anymore but I'm not gonna go extra 20 mins to get McDonald's. So the first time in six months I went to this McDonald's 20 minutes ago. I order two big Macs with no cheese medium fry and a medium Dr Pepper. What I got was one Big Mac with cheese and one with no cheese fries that taste like they've been sitting out for about an hour and then re-cooked again and a full cup of ice with little or no Dr Pepper.
