I was wary of trying this McDonalds because of its 1.5 stars, but ultimately decided to continue being worthy of my maverick badge and try it. I was glad I did. First, I had absolutely NO issues. Second, the order taker was very friendly and made me smile. Third and most importantly, an employee actually checked on the diners, asked if everything was okay, and offered McDonalds-branded and individually packaged mints. The only other McDonalds I've frequented that has ever asked me if everything is okay is the corporate store at US 441/Donnelly in Mount Dora. No one has ever offered a mint before. I never even knew McDonalds had them, and I purchase ice tea at a lot of McDonalds since giving up soda over a year ago, especially since they introduced the any size drink for $1. This McDonald's is easy to access and exit from both directions on US 441 as there is a light into/out of the shopping center adjacent to the McDonalds. This McDonalds has outdoor seating, albeit with limited shade, that is pet friendly.

Horrendous Service, the order took like 20 minutes to be ready and the staff was very rude, location was clean and there was not that many people inside the restaurant, I guess they don't care about the people inside the restaurant and try to take care of the drive thru customers. Not a good experience at all! Will try to avoid this location in the future.

Never in my life have I gotten a caramel frappe with the caramel almost the same color as the whip cream.

IF I COUKD GIVE ZERO STARS, I WOULD!! 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND You might as well hit Chili's & start your two-for-one margaritas if you're thinking about going to this McDonald's . I pulled in to the drive-through just like everybody else on a Friday morning trying to get a quick bite to eat and go to work. The people inside said the drive-through was closed even though they were talking to me and everyone else that pulled through it. So I parked my truck walked inside.. there were two people standing at the front desk one of them being a manager and they were sitting there in front of all the customers gossiping about a fellow coworker there and how they were going to text their supervisor in a group chat and tell their supervisor what this person was doing. The individual they were talking about was not in the store at the time but I knew her name, what shift she was coming in and in their opinion of how she acted at work and so did everybody else in the lobby. At the time of that happening there was about 15 people waiting for their food. I understand there's conflict within your work and people you work with but the place is not for it in front of customers. Also As the people are working and trying to get everybodys food out and ready the manager is standing with her back turned against the customers staring at her phone texting while she could be helping everybody else move the line along. My caramel frappe that I got was half colored and caramel was more of a cream color than a light golden brown. There were a few things they were out of and it was just a really bad experience. Dont think Ill ever visit that location again Im also not the only one that was unhappy with the service that was provided. The people in the lobby Were upset with what was going on and how long it was taking to get our food. Especially with a store manager gossiping and texting upfront with another coworker and absolutely not helping anybody do any work to move the line along. There was also a lady that was telling everybody they had to use the kiosk although she was doing nothing but standing at the front with the manager gossiping. In my opinion there was no reason the drive-through shouldve been closed this morning. There were enough people that I seen on the food line to make sandwiches and prepare orders from the drive-through along with keeping up with the lobby. I apologize if there are any misspellings, I am talking to text because I am running late for work now and wont have time to sit in the parking lot and write this review before I go into workere

No exterior sign at all. Found my way inside and it took a few moments to be acknowledged. That's ok, baristas were busy, I get it. I was slightly underwhelmed at the dark interior. It was no where near as clean or charming as I had expected. Once greeted, I asked if I could have my Americano in a mug instead of a to-go cup. [Insert confused face here]. Apparently this was a tough request. Once we cleared this up, payment was processed and I took a seat at a booth. Coffee order was brought out in a small plastic cup. Yes- plastic cups. Mmmm, hot liquid served in plastic is my fav. (I'm kidding of course) worse yet, the coffee was straight up awful. Truly, it was bad and I hate to even say this. I know a small biz needs all the love it can get and I REALLY wanted to love this place. I even had an extra shot of espresso added and this drink wasn't even as good as a gas station. I'm a huge espresso lover. I have a fancy machine at home but I love to support coffee shops when I'm out running errands. There are very rare times that I have negative comments. Sadly, this was one of those rare occasions. On the bright side- clean restrooms & fun art on the walls. And I was able to snap some cute shots with a retro filter.

The bagels were perfect and you can tell everything is made with care. The music adds to the vibe, and I love that they always have different things going on like pop ups, markets, and social events. It feels like a place you actually want to hang out at, not just grab food and leave. Heads up: come early because they run out of their specialty cream cheeses fast, especially the garlic and chive. Definitely worth it though.

Parking is free and pretty easy on the side of the restaurant. I ended up getting a iced strawberry matcha latte from their spring menu and a breakfast burrito that has egg, cheese, and potatoes. The menu does state you have to wait for the burrito as they have to warm them up. The inside of the business is quaint and cute and a great place to get remote work done or meet with a friend for a coffee and treat. The matcha you can get in two different sizes which I chose the 12 oz. and almond milk for my milk of choice. The matcha is presented in this cute smiley face cup that aligns with their brand. However, I was not a fan of their matcha. The strawberry adds a great sweetness but the matcha was bland. It was like I was drinking the milk and strawberry puree which was unfortunate. However, the reason why they still received a 4 star is that breakfast burrito. For beginners, the cost of this burrito and size is amazing. Again, on the menu they state it takes time which it took about 10 minutes. The burrito has these fluffy eggs that really taste homemade - I felt like I was eating something from a friend's kitchen. The potatoes were soft and also everything was seasoned. Adding the hot sauce was perfect touch. Alone, I would definitely come back for that and will try out one of their lattes based on other Yelper's recommendations.

It has a light fluffy texture and is easier and lighter to eat! We tried a 4 mini sampler plate for $19 and were not disappointed. We got Twix, Mexican candy, strawberry cheesecake, and snow thaigher( thai tea). Our favorites were the Mexican candy and strawberry shortcake, we found the fruit flavors to be the most flavorful! The service was from the owners I believe, who were very kind and checked in on us to make sure we liked everything. We will be returning, possibly every time we go the river!

Overall, I did find it expensive for what you get, and I feel there is some criticism here they need to accept: #1 - What we were served looked nothing like the pictures from the first 2 years they were open, in which the desserts are about 60% flavored ice and 40% toppings. What we got was about 97% shaved ice and 3% toppings. (Also, no whipped cream on the polar affogato). #2 - There is a teeny tiny sign on the back wall that you can barely read that states that all orders have a 10% gratuity automatically included. This sign is NOT visible from the cash register, and is 8 get away in 14-16 pt font. Clearly they don't want customers to see it.. Additionally, their POS system is asking you to add gratuity, even though they're already secretly auto-charging you 10% gratuity. That is flat-out disgusting. There was very little labor/time involved. So on top of the high prices, with greatly reduced toppings, they are encouraging people to pay upwards of 30% gratuity? For $8 flavored ice ready in 3 minutes? To make it worse, I'm sure the people working were the owners. Proprietors shouldnt be accepting or soliciting ANY tips at all.
