Overall, I did find it expensive for what you get, and I feel there is some criticism here they need to accept: #1 - What we were served looked nothing like the pictures from the first 2 years they were open, in which the desserts are about 60% flavored ice and 40% toppings. What we got was about 97% shaved ice and 3% toppings. (Also, no whipped cream on the polar affogato). #2 - There is a teeny tiny sign on the back wall that you can barely read that states that all orders have a 10% gratuity automatically included. This sign is NOT visible from the cash register, and is 8 get away in 14-16 pt font. Clearly they don't want customers to see it.. Additionally, their POS system is asking you to add gratuity, even though they're already secretly auto-charging you 10% gratuity. That is flat-out disgusting. There was very little labor/time involved. So on top of the high prices, with greatly reduced toppings, they are encouraging people to pay upwards of 30% gratuity? For $8 flavored ice ready in 3 minutes? To make it worse, I'm sure the people working were the owners. Proprietors shouldnt be accepting or soliciting ANY tips at all.

It has a light fluffy texture and is easier and lighter to eat! We tried a 4 mini sampler plate for $19 and were not disappointed. We got Twix, Mexican candy, strawberry cheesecake, and snow thaigher( thai tea). Our favorites were the Mexican candy and strawberry shortcake, we found the fruit flavors to be the most flavorful! The service was from the owners I believe, who were very kind and checked in on us to make sure we liked everything. We will be returning, possibly every time we go the river!

No exterior sign at all. Found my way inside and it took a few moments to be acknowledged. That's ok, baristas were busy, I get it. I was slightly underwhelmed at the dark interior. It was no where near as clean or charming as I had expected. Once greeted, I asked if I could have my Americano in a mug instead of a to-go cup. [Insert confused face here]. Apparently this was a tough request. Once we cleared this up, payment was processed and I took a seat at a booth. Coffee order was brought out in a small plastic cup. Yes- plastic cups. Mmmm, hot liquid served in plastic is my fav. (I'm kidding of course) worse yet, the coffee was straight up awful. Truly, it was bad and I hate to even say this. I know a small biz needs all the love it can get and I REALLY wanted to love this place. I even had an extra shot of espresso added and this drink wasn't even as good as a gas station. I'm a huge espresso lover. I have a fancy machine at home but I love to support coffee shops when I'm out running errands. There are very rare times that I have negative comments. Sadly, this was one of those rare occasions. On the bright side- clean restrooms & fun art on the walls. And I was able to snap some cute shots with a retro filter.

It feels like a place you actually want to hang out at, not just grab food and leave. Heads up: come early because they run out of their specialty cream cheeses fast, especially the garlic and chive. Definitely worth it though.

The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly and gave recommendations, and the decor was fun. There was a neon sign there for photo ops. They also sell other Filipino goods like ube cheesecake, lumpia, ube ice cream, prawn crisps, hot dogs, and more. There are several flavors and add ins for the milk tea. I got the taro brown sugar specialty milk tea at 50% sweetness with boba. It was the BEST milk tea that my husband or I had ever had! The sweetness was perfect, the flavor was delicious, and the boba was fresh and soft. It was also the most expensive that I've ever had at almost $10 after a tip. I look forward to trying some of the other things there. Rating from F to A+++, I give it an A+++!

They had a variety of snacks, oils, sauces, bakery items, and many more. I got to try their taro milk tea with oatmilk and lychee popping bobba. Hopefully, I said that right. Lol The service was quick and friendly. I even tried the Ube waffle because I love me some waffles and ube flavors. I will probably be going here every day from now on. The taro was made perfectly and was not too sweet and not too cold, just like Goldie locks once said. Check out some of my photos to see within the location. It was spacious with a nice photo prop area and seating area to relax. You literally could find out about nearby businesses by checking out their board by the restroom. They also sell Uber ice cream by the quart. See you guys again.

The service was okay, employees refused to speak English which is fine, thankfully I speak Spanish but I'm thinking about other clients who their only language is English. We ordered a cachapa, empanada, and burger. Everything came out at different times and the burger took almost 30 minutes. We were kind of in a rush, so a heads up about the burger would've been nice. They also ask for 20-25% tip which I think is too much considering we pick up after ourselves and get up to get our own napkins, utensils, sugars, etc. I work in the service industry and I only ask myself if they're getting paid below minimum wage. Obviously I still leave a tip because I appreciate what they do, it would just be greedy if the owners are paying their workers below minimum wage. Enough yapping, we ordered the cachapa with cheese, which came out cold and crumbly, it looked beautiful but the flavor was not there, I've tried many cachapas and by far this one was the least pleasant to eat. The burger didn't taste authentic at allll. It felt like more bread than anything. The empanada did not taste authentic at all, it was like the filling barely had any potatoes, it just felt like the flavors were not there at all. I will continue to order these items at my local Colombian restaurant, where they never fail. The best part of my visit was their latte, it was soooo good and made my day so much better. My son also got a reindeer cookie which he loved, it was beautiful. I cannot say I'll be back anytime soon, I'll definitely be open to trying them out again and seeing if maybe the experience will be better and not only about aesthetics or how pretty everything looks, but on flavor and authenticity.
