I haven't had McAlister's in a long time. I wanted to give them a try for lunch. I ordered off the website for a pick up order, which was very easy to do. This location has a drive thru window but your order already needs to be placed through phone, app or the website. I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the choose two which had multiple choices to pick from. I enjoyed my half Chicago Dip sandwich and half spud. The Chicago dip had Swiss cheese and Giardiniera peppers that enhanced the taste. It came with the au jus to dip in. The sandwich stole the show. I do wish it had more Swiss cheese on it. Unfortunately, My baked potato didn't have the condiments it was suppose to come with like butter or sour cream. read more

Went in today and purchased a veggie sandwich and another half sandwich & salad to go. Got all the way home and took a bite into the veggie sandwich and it was border line like trying to chew through cardboard. The bread was not fresh at all. I can't believe the person making the sandwiches thought to themselves that this was worth using for a customers sandwich. Eating out is getting crazy with the high prices, tipping on everything and now sub par bread. I have pulled back from eating out as much as I use to and this food today has me putting myself on a 30 days pause from going out again. I can't continue to waste my money. Stopped by during the week for quick lunch while in the area. Clean, casual & bright atmosphere. I was immediately greeted upon entering. You order at the counter, they give you a number to take to your table and they bring your food to you. I ordered the BLT + A (bacon, spring mix, tomato, avocado and herb mayo on a sturdy country white bread). It was good. I wanted to taste the mac & cheese and got that for a side. It was very saucy & bland - wouldn't get it again. In reviewing the menu for this review I see I was supposed to get a pickle spear. The service was fast for my order - less than 10min wait. There was a manager who would circulate the room asking if everything okay and offering refills. I'd give 3.5 star rating if I could. read more

McAlister's Deli is located off E Broad in The Shops at Broad shopping plaza serving up a wonderful variety of sandwiches, soups, salads and more in a nice, relaxed cafe environment. I came for a quick bite to fulfill my hunger when I was in the area running errands during lunch hour. As I walked through the door I was greeted by the friendly staff with a warm welcome and smile. As I made my way to the line to place my order, I quickly browsed the menu that was provided and decided to go with the turkey croissant. As for the side I went ahead with a small side of potato salad. The meal was ready in no time and was nicely presented on a tray for me to make my way to the dining area. There was plenty of open tables and chairs to sit at with guest enjoying their meals and even some studying for their latest exam. The turkey croissant was beautifully layered with thinly fresh slices of deli turkey, sliced cheese, and bacon. As for the veggies it had perfectly sliced red sweet plump tomatoes and red leaf lettuce between a buttered and flakey croissant. The croissant was cut in half for easy eating and the portion was perfect for lunch that was satisfying to the stomach and didn't put me in a coma afterwards. The potato salad was seasoned well, and the temperature was perfectly chilled and paired great with the turkey croissant. Overall, it was a good lunch and I'm looking forward to going back and trying the Reuban sandwich or another lunch item and maybe ordering a different side such as the mac & cheese or side garden salad. read more

We have been going to McAlister's for years. We were so fortunate to move close to one when we moved to North Texas. So when we were in Mansfield we knew we were going to stop there to eat lunch. Since I have started a pescatarian diet I always get excited when a restaurant has multiple options for me to eat. When I looked at the menu I saw on the digital display they had clam chowder. So I decided to do the Choose 2. I planned to get the chowder and the veggie sandwich. I was disappointed to learn that they were no longer the chowder...felt like it was false advertisement. Since that wasn't an option I chose the sandwich and salad...it was probably healthier anyway. I also got their unsweetened tea with lemonade. I have to say everything was tasty, especially the veggie sandwich, the veggies were seasoned wonderfully. The staff was friendly and brought us our food and I appreciated even though their are a few other stores in the area there is a decent amount of parking. I look forward to my next visit. read more

Hey this place is close by our house so we've tried it a number of times, and every single time, including this time, they have messed up our orders, and given us weirdly portioned foods. Look at my order of Mac and cheese, ITS HALF GONE. On top of that I ordered the broccoli cheddar soup not even Mac and cheese. This is the third time they don't include the side sauces or screw the order up. I paid 36$, tipped 4$ to a cashier. I'd appreciate you guys making it right for all the prior issues. Our food came out and my buddies sandwich had paper in it i'm assuming from the cheese and their soup was "not hot." My food was great. I might come back again but the paper is really bad. Good location. Drive thru is only for call in orders. I walked inside and ordered, took my food some time to be prepared. Customer service friendly but again long wait time and I was the only one ordering after several others came in after me and received orders first. Second time going to a McAlister as my son is now hooked on their Mac n cheese (an addiction that is being broken ASAP). This location was much more aesthetically pleasing than the other location I initially went to. The line isn't confusing and there wasn't a long line. The food was out by the time I finished paying which was exciting because I did call it in for a quick pick up. I ordered the chicken harvest salad and this is what i received. NO scoops of chicken salad. Second time in two weeks order is incorrect, very frustrating. Last time they put maybe 1/2 teaspoon scoop of harvest chicken salad and no cheese.. Today no harvest chicken salad. The dressing cup was dripping, the container was messy on the outside..as if it was just thrown together. Not very appealing to want to eat. I love McAlister's Deli and this one is no different. Everything I have ordered here has been delicious. I have had the Rueben and the McAlister's Club and The Italian, potato salad and mac and cheese and they also have yummy sweet tea! This one is new and stays busy. If everyone would stop relying on the government to pay their bills and go get jobs there are plenty of places hiring, like McAlisters! Let me start with the Service. I went at noon, probably the busiest time. Long line, but it moved fast. Greated with a smile by cashier. ( So far, good +1 star ) I was swiftly hand my Iced Tea to enjoy. ( Great Tea +1 star ) Then it's all downhill from there. I noticed how all the orders that are coming out and being placed in the Uber / pick-up wall. The guests inside and waiting are not getting food. My order seemed to take forever to come out. Finished my Ice Tea, and still no order. When I finally received my order, a French Dip, the Roast Beef is tough as my leather boots. I don't think my dogs would eat this shoe leather. The Aujus was barely warm. I thought it was supposed to have cheddar cheese? The side of fruit looked like it was cut up last week and been sitting in a fridge. Nothing fresh about this fruit cup. I picked through the mush and found a few pieces of pineapple that were edible. I was so disappointed in the meal that I forgot to get a refill. At least the tea is good. read more

This was the first and the last time I will EVER come to this establishment. The ENTIRE place was filthy which should have my first clue that the experience would be bad. We placed our order... went to find a table, all were dirty, floors needed to be swept. We found a semi clean table. I took two bites and noticed that my plate had dried melted cheese and what looked like guacamole on it none of which were on my order. I refuse to have my family eat off of dirty plates. I would give ZERO stars if I could. This location is terrible. They definitely need management change and team training. We've been here a couple times and never is the order correct or well made. Sandwich slapped together haphazardly, a spoonful of potato salad in the container, no pickles when we specifically ask for them and cold sandwiches when we ask for them to be hot/panini style. So for about $30 and the not so quick drive through to get are call-in order...we are disappointed time and time again. Well three strikes your out McCallisters we will no longer give you our money. This place has nearly KILLED me TWICE. I love the McAlister's Club but someone broke a toothpick off inside of my sandwich and I guess decided to proceed and put another toothpick in without taking the broken one out or just remaking the sandwhich completely. So guess who almost SWALLOWED a broken toothpick after taking a bite out of their sandwich; ME. Most recently (3/17/23) I ordered the broccoli and cheddar soup. Nearing half way through not sure what was in my soup but it was something EXTREMELY hard (broken plastic, piece of glass, something...) I felt it cut the interior of my throat near the back of my tongue and was CHOKING I panicked started I coughing as hard as I could to get it up then proceeded to try to drink tea to get it down. Rushes to the restroom to see if I could make it come up and I'm STILL uncertain what it was but my throat is still sore today (3/29/23) the item pierced/ irritated my throat pretty badly. read more
