I have been here 7 times in the last 5 months and every single time I go they don't have potatoes. When I have gone at lunch time they state they do not serve potatoes at lunch time and only dinner. I have been to many other McAlisters where this is not the standard. I went today at dinner at they stated they did not have any potatoes because they were not prepped. When over 1/3 of the menu is potatoes you should have potatoes. The service was good and the workers were kind about the situation. I understand it's not their fault and they did everything right. The place is clean and the food is tasty. I would probably give it 4 stars if I wasn't so frustrated with my experience with the potatoes every time I come. Management seriously needs to address this issue. read more

When I've eaten in the restaurant it's been very good experience. Ordering on their app or through door dash, it's a totally different place. Tonight I was missing multiple things from my order that was delivered. I had to drive to the restaurant to get what was missing, after paying delivery fees. UGH! The food quality has always been good. I will think long and hard before getting their food when I'm not eating in the restaurant. read more

Weird. Grocery store pre-packaged luncheon meat served at deli prices. Salad was good. French dip was weird. Good bread, okay cheese and cheap roast beef luncheon meat that was reheated to death and served with flavorless "au jus." Broccoli and cheese soup was terrible! It was thinned out with way too much water. Smelled like fish. Did not eat all I wished. Italian was okay, but could have used some vinegar. Mac and cheese was gummy, skweezy cheezy, dough. Meh. I went to McAlister's in Fort O on June 8, 2024. I ordered the Turkey Jalapeño Crunch sandwich and man, oh man! It was OUTSTANDING! I had never been to a McAlister's before and wasn't sure what to expect. I am visiting family and will be sure to hit this restaurant on future trips. A special shout out to Garrison, who came to our table to see how our food was. He was a shining example of what any company would hope to have in an employee. He was kind and articulate and clearly happy with his job at this restaurant. Also, I want to give props to Laura who was doing her best to deal with a faulty credit card reader. She maintained her professionalism while we figured out the problem. Lastly, thanks to Curtis for coming around to the tables and insuring that our experience in McAlister's was a great one. read more

I came for lunch. Half sandwich and salad. There was a small hair in the salad so o just politely asked for a trade to a soup. I know it happens! Just wasn't in the mood for a salad anymore. They were so kind and accommodating. Very apologetic and made it right. The manager came over after I was content and gave me a free visit. I didn't need it but it was very kind! It's nice to come to places that will make it right for you. Never had any issues here always top notch. I will always come back! read more

Matthew and Caleb were on the receipt. We called in an order for 2 sandwiches with soup for sides, 2 bowls of soup and 2 bread bowls. They screwed up the order. Only thing that was right was the 2 bread bowls and the two bowls of soup. 1 - sandwich one - New Yorker on wheat with light mustard - we got a New Yorker in a wheat wrap. 2 - sandwich two - King Club with no mustard. This sandwich was not in our order at all when we went to pick it up not was the side of soup. My husband had to go back in to get the 2nd sandwich and side of soup and pay separately for it. While he was in there the two people on the register said something and snickered Directed toward him. This is unacceptable. Service is terrible at this place. Ordered a Southwest Chicken Sandwich. After waiting for 20 minutes, the food arrived and it was the wrong sandwich. The lady who brought me the food asked if I'd like another one instead of what she brought. Duh. 25 minutes later a gentleman comes by and asks if I'm having problems with a sandwich. they are expensive on door dash for one thing but we get the king club and it's bottom piece of bread is so soggy. if they actually toasted the bread and put the mayo on the side it would be so much better. they need to offer toasted bread on the app. the pasta salad doesn't have much of a flavor. it's kind of plain. the potato salad is the same. it's a over priced sandwich shop. read more

One visit and done. It was our first visit to this location and a first impression is a lasting impression. The staff acted as though we were a bother and the potato I ordered was essentially room temperature. We paid a lot for lunch and with the staff being disinterested and the food being mediocre, it will be our only visit. It's a shame because we eat out a lot and I was excited about a new choice but my one visit eliminated this location for any consideration moving forward. read more
