I got there this am around 10:05 and was shocked to see so many people. Many were coming to just pick up, others for eye exams. They quickly took names, in order. I waited nearly 2 hours. Not complaining, because I knew i didn't have an appointment. They do take your temperature as you come in and give you hand sanitizer. The staff was professional, plus sanitized everything. I don't remember the name of the lady, who helped me to pick out my frames. But she was so sweet. I will not be visiting Cohen. again. I will continue to come here for my glasses/eye exam.

My mother was mistreated at this eye clinic. She went in and was told she had to sign everything in…read moreEnglish because of a "new law in New York," which is completely false. There is no law like that. My mom doesn't speak fluent English, and she told the staff she would write her name, address, ZIP code, and phone number -- but they needed to fill out the rest. That's their job. But they acted like she was being difficult when really, she was asking for fair help. They refused to help her in Spanish and lied about needing everything in English only. That's not the law, and it shows how poorly they treat Spanish-speaking patients. Also, they have false advertising all over their billboard and signs about "low prices on glasses," but in reality, they overcharge for glasses that cost as little as $20. That's misleading and possibly illegal. False advertising can be reported -- and I'm considering it. We will be going back when my mom picks up her glasses, but I had to post this to let people know: This clinic does not respect everyone equally. They mistreated my mother, and I will not stay quiet about it.
