I called Nitzel March 10th, the very day she was beginning to close up the business due to COVID escalation. I was living in a care facility I was planning to move from in mid-April. We didn't know what the new mandates would be or if it would even be possible, but Nitzel sent me a bid with an open date, and we would cross our fingers it would work out. I was so happy to catch her before they closed and relieved to know I would get help with my move if it were possible in April. Then, COVID got worse. A nearby Care Facility had a confirmed case! I was so frightened of the same happening in the facility I was living in. Daily notices with increasingly stricter mandates were frightening. I called Nitzel panicked 8 days later as I thought of the same thing occurring where I was residing. I had to leave ASAP, not in mid-April anymore, and asked Nitzel if it was even possible? I was restricted to the number of people I could let enter the facility. It was not easy. But Nitzel was a magician and found a few men still willing to work with the public in masks and extra protection. In three days Nitzel had a packer at my door and had arranged the whole move. We needed 2 days because of mandated rules, and as the original move was now occurring a month early, I had no luxury of preparing ahead as I thought I would. Three nice gentlemen came to pack, move me out, and they we're champions. UGH, of course, it Rained! The added stress of taking on this task under the circumstances of a Pandemic, being forced to wear extra vinyl gloves and working hours wearing very hot masks while doing hard physical tasks was heroic. Everyone was committed to moving me out as expeditiously as possible. I was so relieved and amazed when all was accomplish by this compassionate and brave team. And the very next week, the facility or the one neighboring it who shared staff had their first confirmed COVID case. MC really saved me. I do not want to think of my reality if they couldn't have helped me leave there. I will always be grateful for what they did for me. Expensive, yes, because I had no opportunity to prepare at all. I was very happy they had the necessary materials under these extreme circumstances. Usually most people have planned ahead for their moves and aren't in need of purchasing many extra materials, but it is nice to have the option when in need. If money is your priority, buy all your materials and have every single item ready to go directly into the Truck. If not possible, then MC will have you covered in any circumstance. I used MC Movers twice. Both times they arrived early, and were professional, neat, careful, quick and cheerful. It wasn't cheap but I believe I got my money's worth both times. I would not hesitate to use them again. The move manager was very helpful and responsive. The first time they emptied and relocated three storage spaces (one 20x26, and two 20x20). They came out one day and looked over the spaces and gave me a quote for two trucks and eight workers. They were quick and efficient and had everything moved in one day. I received an quote from MC Movers after contacting ~8 companies (all with good reviews).They did a visual inspection the same day I contacted them before issuing said quote and it was a fixed price move. Other companies had me describe what was in the house, size, etc. And prices could be variable. 6 guys arrived promptly at 8am and finished at my old house around 2-3pm. After driving to my new place, they unloaded into the 3 bed/2 ba by 5:45pm. Boxes and furniture were placed in appropriate rooms, including a few pieces that had to be disassembled and reassembled. They frequently checked in to see where I wanted furniture placed. When finished, they cleared out all the boxes and trash that had been unpacked so I didn't have to deal with it. I can't recommend Cesar, Marco and Marco highly enough -- they were so professional, so pleasant and friendly, and so expertly skilled at packing, loading and unloading, with proper protection on everything from furniture to art. They moved skillfully from start to finish, navigating every tricky situation gracefully! We moved several years back and used professional movers, but this team was on a whole different level -- you could just see it in the way they did everything. Cesar used boxes and tape to create protection for many items, including a glass-top table, and he seemed to shape and tape the cardboard for a perfect fit in minutes -- just the tabletop would have taken me at least 20-30 minutes alone, and I would have blown a gasket with frustration trying to get it right and secure! I would definitely call these guys back if I needed to move again, although I hope that's not for a loooong time. They came promptly for an estimate (which was very competitive), dropped off some free boxes within a day, were flexible in the booking process (and I needed to change the plan twice!), and showed up on time for the big day. We moved from a 2 bed room apartment from 2nd floor to a 3 bed room house. Cesar and team were absolutely patient in disassemble the furnitures, TV etc. We packed a few more boxes and many small items when the movers arrived. They were very helpful in carrying those items. Also, at the destination, they were patient and helpful in arranging the furniture in various rooms and move the heavy boxes to rooms wherever we thought would be appropriate. Hired them for my move this past weekend. The move went fine for the most part. One of them asked to use my bathroom, which was fine but it seemed like he was trying to use up more time. When we arrived at our new place, another one asked to use the bathroom, this time I said no. They proceeded to move slower and left garbage in my driveway. One of them pissed in a bottle and left it in my bushes. When calculating the fees at the end, the guy miscounted and added a couple of dollars, I had to check the math in front of them for them to change it. Mc movers were amazing. Cesar came to do an estimate and as soon as we saw him we felt comfortable with him. He was professional and knew exactly what to say and do. The move was amazing and without any hitch. He and 3 of his movers came and were fully focused on the work at hand and I always felt like they were never trying to slow things down to make more hours. His estimate was perfect and he and his team worked like there was no time left all the time. It was an 8 hour project and they work HARD all 8 hours without any down time. And looked like they were working fast. Cesar was also very careful with all out items and would inform us ahead of time if he sees any item damaged. I was a bit skeptical at first about the all five-star reviews, but after hiring them for a move this past weekend I think they deserve the ratings fully. 1. The booking process was very smooth, I submitted an inquiry online and got a callback shortly after on the same Saturday. They visited us the next day and gave an estimate, and we were confirmed for the following weekend. This made things really easy for us because we were on a tight schedule to move out of the house that we are about to remodel. 2. Before the move Cesar and Blanca were extremely responsive to emails and texts, even when they were out of town for another job. They answered all our questions really fast, and provided a not-to-exceed binding contract. 3. On the day of the move Cesar and the crew were on time, worked fast, and courteous throughout. Our move was tricky because the things that need to be moved and things that are staying were mixed together. They made sure to confirm with us multiple times but still maintained a very fast packing speed, which was rather impressive. 4. We didn't realize that the storage space we were moving into would be tight for all the stuff until the end, but Cesar and the crew did a fantastic job packing everything in while still leaving a few of the items easily accessible as we requested. 5. The hours that they charged us even turned out to be slightly lower than our own estimate. Overall MC movers made our move super easy and hassle free, they came across as being very honest and helpful and great at what they do. We made a life-changing move from Palo Alto to Laguna Niguel in April. We checked out MC Movers on Yelp, saw the reviews and met with Cesar, Marco and their crew. If you have to move anywhere, these are your guys. They arrived promptly on a Monday, disassembled a dining room table and our bed and had their truck completely packed in just over four hours before heading to Southern California, where they stayed overnight. On Tuesday morning, they arrived right on time and had the truck unloaded in less than four hours -- despite moving into a two-story house. They hauled heavy furniture upstairs and every box that needed to be there. They were extremely friendly, polite, courteous and thoughtful with where everything was placed. We did not have them unpack, however. But that's something they will do. We helped make the move easier as my wife packed most of the boxes. That sped up the moving process. Cesar and his crew, however, wrapped up everything else, including TVs, couches, lamps and a computer. Nothing was damaged or even scratched. We were extremely pleased with the move as MC Movers did everything they said they would do and made the whole process seamless. so i took a job that needed me to store all of my house. and i had to do it in two weeks, i started right away at this new job that had me away from home and i had not packed. i found MC Movers on Yelp, surprise!, and i met with another two companies who were not as flexible as Cesar and his crew at MC Movers. i met with Cesar who gave me a good estimate on the cost, reasonable, to me value is not the cheapest and they offer services and concessions that i felt were very intuitive to what i was looking for, timeline, and they packed and stored all of my stuff, kinda like i would have. they even took my instructions about my comic book collection and dropped off the perishables to another address. i was away, concerned, but came back to a clean move, everything was neat at the house, no damages to any of my items, or the walls, all packing materials were gone, it was even better than if i had done it. i had a construction crew get some paint done, wall restoration, had a cleaning crew do a deep clean and the house was up for rent quickly. it was such a relief, the stress it took off me was invaluable. read more
