These guys are totally professional from top to bottom. Not only are they expert handlers, but every worker was courteous, pleasant and enthusiastic. This was not a simple move. I had a 3 story/4 bedroom house filled to the brim with boxes and BIG heavy antique furniture (two armoires had to be lowered from top deck to bottom deck over a rail) AND... I lived on the side of a hill so there were 42 concrete steps of different heights and depths to climb UP to get to the street. The street was curved and a very large moving truck would not fit. M.C. Movers was one of three estimates I got. Marco was confident and came up with the perfect solution immediately. A crew of at least 8 and two 26' trucks instead of a super big one (which would necessitate the time-eating process ferrying stuff to the main road). Every single crew member was a top notch professional and I might even say joyous! Their energy was contagious. They were happy to be working and experts at what they did. A daunting task was made pleasant as I watched them handle every issue with exuberance and care. They are not a budget operation, but you get what you pay for and having M.C Movers made my difficult move look like a breeze. READ this before about MC Movers before you hire another company! MC Movers was fantastic! If you need a moving company, call them. I hired them based off of a review I read here on yelp! They moved our family on April 13th and I promised I would write a review. Sorry it took me so long Marco! They arrived to my home ON TIME! 7am! Marco came to my house the week before the move to give me an estimate. He suggested the flat rate was the best way to go. Also let me say Nitzel the young lady who answered the phone was amazing! She kept in touch with me and made sure everything was set for the move. The crew literally went IN at the house, they wrapped my household items up and loaded them on the truck ever so gently and well organized! NOTHING was damaged in this move I might add. They were strategic in their planning. They also brought me wardrobe boxes to use and no extra charge! The guys took lunch and came to my new place and unpacked and set up the house to my liking. Constantly asking me if everything was to my satisfaction. They were literally walking out of my new house, everything in its place tape, carboard and trash picked up at 2:45p.m. YES 2:45p.m. keep in mind they stopped to have lunch! What a crew! I highly recommend MC Movers, a family owned and run business located in Mountain View. We first met MC Movers 6 months ago when we needed to move our baby grand from San Carlos to Palo Alto. They gave us a competitive quote, showed up on time and did an outstanding job of getting the piano ready for transport. When the piano arrived it was in excellent condition, they reassembled the piano and it worked perfectly. The job was completed on time, at the quoted cost, and with friendly service to boot! Now 6 months later we needed our 2 bedroom 2 bath townhouse moved into storage. We called Ceasar and received a good fixed bid quote including building a cradle for the piano, boxes for the TV's and special boxing for our oversize paintings. To make matters worse, we needed to move on a Sunday. Once again, MC Movers came through with flying colors. Friendly, fast, professional, excellent service at the right price. I would highly recommend this company and plan to use them again when we move out of storage and hope that you use them as well. Well done MC! read more

Not sure if MC movers changed ownership but would not recommend. Last time we used them the service was great and reasonably priced. They now will charge you $165 per hour for every hour they are actually packing, plus $330 per hour of driving, since they charge you the packing rate even while the movers are not packing and charge a separate driving fee on top of it. They will also charge you for gas on top of that. When speaking on the phone to arrange the appointment, they made it seem as though we would get 3 full hours of packing time + drive time, but no, the driving time will cut into any moving time you have allowed. Movers came to my home at 9am and packet until 11, drive 45 minutes to the next place, and packed from 12-2. If you ask me, that is 4 hours of packing time and 1 hour of driving, but they will charge you for 5 hours of packing 9-2, plus an hour of driving and gas on top of it just for fun. Would not recommend and definitely will not use this service again. read more

I'm very happy with MC. I contacted them by phone, leaving a message, and they returned my call within 2-3 minutes. All of the details were worked out quickly to my desires, and their administrator "Nitzel" was very nice, returning all contract paperwork as agreed. They were able to move on Sunday, arrived exactly on time, finding it with no problem. Their price was $159 for a three-person move crew, which was better than most others. Cesar, Marco, and Marco, Jr. worked very hard, worked quickly, and provided added padding, or bubble wrap around breakable things. They were also very nice, and helpful to assist me in trying to keep ahead of their quick pace. Nothing that I saw was damaged at all, and they looked to pay careful attention to all movements. I had planned on moving later in the week but because of the coronavirus lockdown, I called Nitzel and asked if they could drop everything and move me TODAY! Seven wonderful men showed up late in the afternoon and worked into late into the evening to get me moved into my new condo. And it wasn't easy! Because of the short notice; they helped us pack and once there without a lot of guidance by me, figured out what went into a small storage room (They were able to fit A LOT!), and what went where. César and his crew make a great work. I trusted him with very expensive furniture and I they did a good work. I have also new hardwood floor and new painting and I was worried about that too. After they live I only find an small place, where they put the washer and dryer machine that I have to retouch with paint. It is and small place of half an inch. It is a corner that was probably hit by one of the machines, but the place was really small. I am happy that the walls and floors and furniture was really handle with care. They are all a very respectful and conscious crew. Very responsible. I will recommend their work to any friend. read more

What a great team they were! Marcos, Carlos and the rest, they did an amazing job helping us move. With a super busy work schedule we were not as organized as we were hoping we would be. But the team did an excellent job in moving our HEAVY furnitures. We actually forgot out dinning table (which was already dissembled and wrapped and secured in a corner of our previous home's garage) and they came back the next day and moved it for us. They moved us over the weekend Friday June 2nd and they were awesome. Our last move was a disaster, different movers were 8 hours late, so I found MC Movers on Yelp and I spoke to and emailed Blanca several times to confirm. They called a few days before and asked to come earlier because we're moving from Sunnyvale to Sacramento and they wanted to avoid traffic. they showed up on time, were careful with our stuff, and everything went great. Our rental house isn't ready yet so we went into a storage and they were great at fitting everything in carefully. Just a terrific experience would definitely recommend them. read more

Hired them because of the reviews, was not at all disappointed! Moved Mom from Palo Alto to a senior living community near me- 3 hours away. Marco, Nacho and John were respectful, hardworking and friendly. They treated each piece of furniture to a careful wrapping with blankets and plastic and had the house loaded up in no time. Everyone was extremely helpful and very careful with wrapping and getting things to my new place all in one piece. They were extremely helpful with getting everything exactly where I wanted it to go and reassembling the various pieces of furniture. Everyone was kind and helpful and worked very hard at moving me from one 2nd floor unit to another 2nd floor unit (no elevator). It made for a long day but they all worked hard and never gave any indication they they were tired or just wanted to get the job done. Marco and Cesar came to assess my home a week prior to the scheduled move. I opted for a flat rate for the move. Cesar and four movers arrived 15 minutes early on the scheduled day and worked tirelessly for about 8 hours. They packed and labelled everything and were very careful with fragile items. My items were carefully stored in the garage of my new home as it is currently being renovated. I plan to hire them to return and unpack items when I'm ready to move in. We moved from a 2-bedroom (one-story) to a 3-bedroom (two-story) and were very happy with the MC Mover team. They were very easy to work with from the initial contact to moving day and were extremely friendly. They worked very hard for 3.5 hours (at some points, it seemed that they were running back to the truck) and were competitively priced.
