Super happy with our experience with Matt and MC Garage Doors! His communication is impeccable - answered my initial call on the second ring, drove over the hill to our home in the mountains by the end of that day to give us a quote, and was out the next day to replace our 40 year old garage door! He texted us updates on his timing and progress throughout the day, and unfortunately (mostly for him because of all the driving back and forth he had to do!) he had to come back to replace one of the panels the next day (to add windows) because of confusion with his supplier, but he got it done quickly. The brand new system he installed is working out great with the WiFi connectivity, camera, automatic lighting, and the whisper quiet door itself. We didn't get any other quotes but we're really happy with his work and our new set up. He's also very friendly and great to chat with. Highly recommend him and his crew! read more

I knew our garage door opener was failing, but I did not expect it to fail that abruptly, on a Sunday. I called the business and they actually arrived within a couple of hours with a new opener. They clearly explained why the opener failed and that spring and other elements needed tending to for it not to fail again. They were willing to fix those items on the spot as well, yet I knew I wanted to replace the door itself at some point, and they told me they can do that in a day! I took them up on the offer and they followed up with a quote and timeline. They came around the next morning, completed the work in the time stated, and did an utmost professional job, cleaning up well after it and taking the old door away. They certainly set a high bar for how I will expect other businesses to work from now on! read more

Wow! Matt and his team were exceptional! He was very responsive and communicative throughout the whole process. He came and replaced both of my garage door opening units (not sure of exact terminology) the very next day. Price was very fair and competitive. I love the new garage door openers! Customer service was phenomenal. Matt is passionate about his work and wanting the customer to be happy. I will use him in the future for all of my garage door needs and will recommend him to everyone! Look NO further folks, this is the company to go with! SO HAPPY I went with them! They are the best, hands down! Thanks again Matt, it was a pleasure to meet you and doing business with you my friend! read more

One of our garage door springs had broken, and the door would no longer open. I called MC Garage Doors and spoke with Matt. He asked a few simple questions and determined what the fix would require. His team showed up three hours later to perform the work. Our springs, pulleys, and cables had been replaced in under two hours, and the door had been serviced. A BIG thanks to MC Garage Door for their great work and outstanding service. read more

We've used them twice, once to fix our old garage door and later during a remodel when we converted to a single wade door. Their service was fast and high quality and we were vey pleased with the results each time. read more

Responded very quickly and had our door working again same day. The tech was super friendly and explained all the details of what was happening, why, and what was needed to fix it. I am still surprised that garage door springs need to be replaced every 5-10 years at a cost of ~ $750, but that's what the experts said, and my door definitely needed it. read more

Matt's great and worked hard to ensure things were done right. Transparent and honored the quoted price, even with a couple extra adjustments to make things perfect. This was not an emergency call, and they answered, quoted and completed the work in the same day. read more

We moved into our new home and the garage door wasn't operable at all. MC provided a response to my quote request immediately on Yelp. They came same day to inspect and give an estimate. As expected we needed to either pay to fix or replace. Got a couple of options. MC was able to get the equipment same day and replace the entire door and system. Really happy with the outcome. We did have a bit of back and forth regarding the exact cost (ended up paying more than originally agreed on due to incorrect material cost) and availability (told had to be next day and then told had to be same day). Minor annoyances. I would recommend MC and would call them again for sure! read more

Matthew was great at communicating with me and provided same-day service. My garage door was having trouble opening. I called in the morning and he was able to come that morning to take a look. He quickly diagnosed the issue and recommended changing the rollers and the motor. Matthew had helped us install a new garage motor at a previous house and did a great job, so I agreed to his recommendation. He and his son completed the job the same day. They were very professional and friendly and the garage is working great. I'd recommend their service! read more

Matt saved the day! The spring broke on my garage door the morning of my daughter's graduation and the car was trapped in the garage. I called at 7am and Matt was there asap to provide a quote and it was fixed by 2pm, just in time for us to leave for graduation. I couldn't be more thankful!! Matt was great to work with and very responsive. I replaced the spring, drums and chose to upgrade the rollers. I couldn't have been more satisfied. Fast response and service! Thank you!! read more

Prompt, professional, friendly, and a reasonable cost. What more could I have asked for? I arrived at our Aptos house on Sunday and the 20 year old garage door opener refused to work. I sent quote requests out immediately to the top three yelp reviewed companies, and Matt got back to me within 20 minutes (on a Sunday) and agreed to come out the next morning to fix everything. Monday morning he calls and says "is it ok if we come out early?" Of course!! Matt and his son ended up putting in a new opener, new rollers, and new springs. The door hasn't been this quiet since the house was built. Consider me a happy customer. Oh, and those other two companies? They finally got back to me on Thursday. read more

Called MC when the local company with the most five-star Yelp ratings didn't return my call. After we discussed my garage issue via phone, Matthew (the M in MC, his wife is the C) came out ready to replace/upgrade the garage door opener. On arrival with two of his sons, he immediately saw I didn't need a replacement, but that the opener was working too hard. He adjusted the sensitivity on the opener, replaced the old rollers with nylon ones, and had one of his sons spray a little lube on everything. Once the new rollers were in, he adjusted the springs. He could have told me I needed a fancy new opener, but he didn't, and I respect that. He takes cash and checks but doesn't take credit cards. read more

These guys are not only magicians but have IMPECCABLE customer service!!! Our garage door died on Sunday, I called around and Matt, the owner, answered the phone, came over to give us a quote and then his employee Sergio was here the next day, Monday morning, to install. We literally only had to go 20 hours without our garage door being operable. Don't use anybody else but MC Garage Doors, seriously the best! Thank you Matt and Sergio!!! read more

Very happy with the service I received today from Matt at MC Garage Door. The spring/ lift assist on the door broke, making it impossible for me to open the door. Matt's response was quick and the work was fast too. Not only was the door fixed quickly, but it moves noticeably better than it ever has! SO glad I did not try to fix it myself in this case. I also appreciated the professionalism and the friendly advice given to me about how to keep the door working smoothly in the future. read more

Matt is awesome. He showed up on time and was so helpful. My garage was acting up and suddenly fixed itself on it own. We he got here we could not get the issue to repeat so he gave me some helpful pointers and said to call him if I start having issues again, not even charging for the service call. Stellar guy for sure. Would highly recommend him!!! read more

MC Garage Doors is excellent! My door was broken today. Since we always park our cars inside, I really don't want to leave them outside overnight. After we called, Matthew, the owner, came to our house at night. And repaired it quickly. I really appreciate the professional, courteous, and friendly service I received today. Tonight, my cars are resting in their usual place, thanks to this company's quick and great service. read more

Matthew was extremely responsive, courteous, and knowledgeable, and Ralph did a top notch job installing a replacement opener, springs, and drums for me. I called MC Garage Doors to fix a broken torsion spring on my garage door, and the owner Matt came out the next day to fix it. He had everything needed to make the repair, and also pointed out an issue with my door's rollers that was contributing to the problem. The spring was fixed, rollers were replaced, and Matt also greased the track and adjusted the opener. Door now operates better than it ever has (actually quieter), and we're really pleased with the work. Would definitely recommend / will use again. read more

Our garage door spring suddenly broke the other day which resulted in a bunch of other damage to the motor as well as one of the tracks, etc. We called Matt Sr. at MC Garage Doors, and he was able to come out within 2-3 hours. Matt looked at the whole setup, explained all of the issues and what would be needed to do the repairs. Matt mostly had everything in his truck to repair and replace everything, including the latest Liftmaster WiFi-enabled garage door opener (which he mounted directly to the rafters for a rock solid mount!). He also had to replace both springs & barrel assemblies, replace the opener bracket attached to the garage door, realign one of the tracks, and rebalanced the entire door. All of this only took him about 3.5 hours! Matt is very personable, polite and professional. Workmanship is top notch, and now we have a whole new system that runs very quietly that should last for 15-20 years. read more

Matt was amazing, excellent communication and performed a full replacement of a faulty garage door in just a few hours. The new springs, rollers, and controller are all a massive upgrade and I can't believe how quickly he made it happen. Absolutely recommend. read more

MC Garage crew was fast and knowledgeable. They repaired broken coil and replaced rollers and maintenance touch up to the whole unit. It is much quieter than it was before. My wife blamed me and my son for the coil breaking but Matthew and his team explained that we were actually really good and lucky for our coil to have lasted 10 years. Great team & I highly recommend them. read more

Provided outstanding service far more quickly than I expected. Called at 4:00 on a Friday, and they were here the next afternoon, spending the four hours to fix our problem. Did great work, leaving our garage in even better shape than it has ever been. Ended up costing less to repair than they initially quoted, and they didn't bill us what they initially told us a charged us less. Honest, hardworking, outstanding quality. Our new go-to for garage maintenance and care. read more

When another garage door company guy rubbed me the wrong way (pressuring me to buy what he was selling because he said that no one else would have come to my house, not true) and ripped me off price-wise, this guy gave me an honest second opinion for free and verified that some of what the jerk was saying was true. He did this knowing that I had no business for him, and for that I am grateful. I will need another repair soon and this will be the company I call. As to avoiding the other guy? Don't trust a company without a lot of reviews... read more

We needed to repair our garage and Matt came out to look. His recommendation was that we replace the doors and system since it was 30 yrs old. He gave us a very fair price and did a fabulous job of installing the new doors and Liftmaster system. He and his team were thorough and explained everything about the systems. We couldn't be happier. read more

My garage door spring broke, and the car was trapped in the garage. I called Matt at 6:20 PM, and he had Martin out to work on the door between 7:30 and 8:00 that evening! I was very impressed; I was expecting to wait days for somebody to come out. Martin was halfway done with the spring repair when Matt checked in and suggested new drums. The door was old and creaky so I decided to get a whole new door instead of spending any more on the old one. Martin came back the next morning, removed the old door, and installed the new one after Matt delivered it. The new door is super quiet, sealed all the way around (to keep out the grass blown around by the landscapers), and opens faster than the old door. I think the cost was pricey, but I did not do any competitive bidding, and I was very happy to have the job done so incredibly quickly. Matt also threw in a lot of upgrades and extras. Both Matt and Martin were very personable and easy to work with. read more
