The Palm technician, Peter, was very professional and did a great job at a great price(matched)!

I had a very positive experience with Palms Garage Doors. When our garage door springs broke, leaving our garage door inoperable, I researched several garage door companies. I chose Palms Garage Doors because of their high ratings and their A+ rating with the BBB. Their response to my inquiry was immediate and their technician, Brian, came the same day. He was professional, fast, and highly skilled at replacing the broken springs safely. The pricing was fair, and the garage door now works. Highly recommend Palms Garage Doors and Brian for anyone needing reliable repairs! read more

Had a great experience with Peter from Palms Garage Doors. My issue was with weatherproofing and needed a bit of out-of-the-box thinking, and Peter was great at coming up with different options and clearly explaining the pros and cons of each. Once we decided on the best approach, he did the work carefully and took the time to get it right. Really appreciated his patience, attention to detail, and communication. One of the rollers on our garage door came off track recently causing issues with opening and closing. I found Palms Garage Doors on Yelp. They had excellent reviews by customers and a 4.9 star rating. We gave them a call and were told they could be here today between 12:30pm and 2:30pm. Elad was very punctual and arrived at exactly 12:30pm. He took a look at our garage door and assessed the situation. The bolts on our garage door needed to be tightened. Many had become loose over time. He increased the tension of the spring coils because our garage door off balance and he replaced all the metal rollers within the metal track. He said it would take him about 45 minutes to fix. Everything worked out great. He did exactly as he had promised and with great efficiency. He made sure to show us, before he left, what got replaced. The garage door opens and closes so much smoother and better than before. It's much quieter too. Elad, was very professional and kind. He did an amazing job fixing our garage door. My husband and I appreciated that he could fix it the same day we called. We will definitely reach out to him in the future if need be, for our garage door needs. read more

My garage door failed to lift all of a sudden on a Saturday over the labor day weekend. Got a reference and called the Palms Services. The technician showed up on Sunday morning around noon and quickly diagnosed the broken spring torsion. We agreed to upgrade the spring to a heavy-duty, standard dual-torsion spring and also replace the 10 wheels in the rail. The total price was on the higher end (from my research) but it is a holiday weekend and an emergency service request. The technician shared some maintenance knowledge with me and got everything fixed within an hour. No complain. read more

Friendly and responsive installers; bought a high end garage door install from them with a super-duty motor and top of the line springs and the output is _beautiful_. Visually, exactly what we were hoping for. But...the door gives a loud BANG every time it opens and about 20% of the time will fail to open and will retry. They sent someone out once to review and fix but it's still happening and they aren't going to send someone out again whilst it's not _fully_ broken, only failing some of the time. So I have to...wait for my brand new door to just get permajammed before they're going to make it right?? That's not really the outcome I would have hoped for from a brand new top of the line garage door install. read more

My garage door wouldn't open early one morning in June 2026. We managed to get it open manually and contacted several companies. Palm Garage Doors responded quickly and booked a 9 AM appointment. Pete arrived early, diagnosed the issue as a broken spring, and got right to work. He was pleasant, efficient, and thorough. He completed the repair, serviced the entire system, and even reinforced the door. Pricing was fair and the overall value was excellent. Highly recommend Palm Garage Doors for reliable, quality service. read more

Total lifesavers. Our garage door spring snapped unexpectedly and trapped our car right when we needed to head out. I reached out to Palms Garage Doors through Yelp, and their response time was lightning-fast. Peter showed up right when promised, diagnosed the issue instantly, and had the spring replaced and the door running smoothly in no time. Honest pricing with zero annoying upselling. Outstanding service from Palms Garage Doors! After I asked for garage service through yelp a few businesses started reaching out to me about my garage door issue. After comparing reviews I decided to hire Palms Garage Doors. I provided all of the pertinent information regarding my garage door issue. Then they proceeded to set up a time slot based off my preference. I requested for the 1-3pm slot. The technician, Geva, arrived close to 230pm which met the 1-3pm slot I requested for. After meeting w/Geva who I learned was also a veteran of the armed forces like myself ...but from another country which was impressive after sharing his combat experience w/me. He proceeded to troubleshoot & diagnose the issue after I advised him of the issue (not opening/closing). After he was done...he advised me that the driver belt & motor were bad...he even showed me the worn out driver belt. The motor we currently have didn't have a backup battery(outdated system) & wasn't properly working even after Geva adjusted the setting. So after discussing my options w/Geva I decided to have the motor & driver belt replaced. So I opted for the standard smart lift master w/the driver belt as opposed to the chain linked one. He then proceeded to work (disassembly & installation). After Geva completed w/the installation he went on & started testing the garage. As soon as he closed it using the opener I was impressed w/the slower speed & closed smoothly. He then opened it & it was the same result. He then proceeded to instruct me to download the app which will enable me to control the garage door ...which I've never done before. It's definitely advanced from what I'm use to since now it not only allows me to open it from my phone but there's a built in video camera which will sense anyone in the garage while the garage opens & closes. Overall, I was impressed with everything that Geva provided w/his outstanding service. It feels like a brand new garage door even though the motor, drive belt, & track were the only ones replaced. Thank you Geva for the job well done. I highly recommend Palms Garage Doors for any garage doors needs! read more

I had a garage door emergency on a Friday afternoon--my garage door was stuck open, which was obviously not a great situation. From the very first call, Palms Garage Doors acted as a true solution provider, not simply a garage door sales and installation company. They responded promptly, asked the right questions about my garage door, its construction and weight, listened carefully to what I was looking for, and clearly explained the options that would provide the best and most reliable long-term solution. Based on that evaluation, I selected the LiftMaster 6690L belt-drive opener. The following morning, Yohai arrived with everything needed and completed the installation in approximately an hour. The execution was flawless. His professionalism, attention to detail, and quality of workmanship were exceptional. What stood out most was the combination of speed, honesty, responsiveness, and workmanship. That combination is rare. The pricing was competitive and fair, the communication was excellent, and Yohai's personal attention made an already excellent experience even better. From the initial evaluation and recommendation through the final installation, Palms Garage Doors delivered exactly what you hope for from a professional service company: the right solution, executed properly, promptly, and with genuine care for the customer. My sincere thanks and appreciation to Yohai and the Palms Garage Doors team. It is genuinely refreshing to have a business of this caliber serving the San Francisco Bay Area. Highly recommended and an absolutely well-deserved five stars. read more

UPDATED REVIEW I'm updating my review after Palms Garage Door reached out to me, and I do appreciate the effort to clear things up. I do want to acknowledge Jacinta, who reached out and communicated professionally and respectfully in an effort to make things right. Now, this part is specifically for Zoli, the technician who came to our home. He arrived solo without knowing the condition of our house or the scope of the job -- and still handled everything exceptionally. Our home had some unexpected challenges, which resulted in him not having the right tools and materials (required trips back to the warehouse) yet he stayed very late to ensure everything was done properly and safely. He never complained, never rushed, and never tried to upsell. Zoli went above and beyond with refinements and tune-ups we didn't even ask for. His work was clean, secure, and extremely detail-oriented. Despite our garage not being ideal for a garage work (full of renovation and contractor tools), he made everything work flawlessly. Zoli, this review is for you. As long as you're with Palms Garage Door, you'll have our support -- and honestly, we'd follow you wherever you go. His work ethic and professionalism are rare, and I truly believe he's responsible for many of the 5-star reviews here. Thank you, Zoli, for the outstanding work. read more

I had a great experience with Illia from Palms Garage Doors. He came out to repair my garage door after a spring broke. Our garage door completely stopped working yesterday. We were going back and forth on repairing ourselves or just calling a professional. We decided to call, and I am so happy we did. I called around 11am, someone was here by 12pm, and he was leaving around 1pm, having completely replaced the motor and programmed a new remote and wall mount button. He even got us setup with an app on our phone that controls opening and closing the door. And this was all on a Sunday! As soon as the technician arrived, he asked me what was going on. We tried a couple of quick things, then he told us a new motor was needed, which was inline with my expectations. He gave us 3 options, answered all of our questions, and then immediately pulled a new unit out of his truck and got to work. I can't believe how quick this all got taken care of, especially on a Sunday. I am so happy I called Palms Garage Doors! read more

A 4.9 rating with 604 reviews pretty much says it all. Ihad my backup battery go out the other day. I found my Palm business card from several years ago when the spring on my door went. I called this morning and Bryan came this afternoon, yes, same day service. He was friendly and knowledgeable. Within a half hour I had my battery fixed and the wall switch fixed. I'm not usually the review leaving type. But in this instance I feel like it's necessary. The spring for our garage door busted last night and it was just another addition to our list of house whoas. Searching through my texts, trying to find the repair company that helped us last. But sadly it could not be found. I was hesitant but decided to jump on Yelp request for some quotes. Literally 10-20 seconds later about 7 companies tried contacting me. Its was a bit overwhelming but reassuring at the same time. I began engaging with these companies through text. Sent the pictures of damage, gave garage details, and requested a quote. There was a lot of run around but 1 company stood out. Palms Garage Doors. They were able to provide a solid quote and got a technician out to the house in about 2 hours. To our surprise a 6'10 technician Illiya pulls up. Sorry if I butchered the spelling of your name. He looked at the damage and assured that this would be the same price they provided through text and proceeded to fix. It took him about 30-45 min to change which was super fast and at that he provided great customer service. At the end of the service he offered to give a free estimate for replacing the whole garage. He gave it a look provided a price and proceeded to thank us and go about his day. All around great experience. Good price, fast service, and great customer communication. Thank you! read more
