Was given a estimate for $49 flat rate through Yelp projects. Thought I got a deal for a quick sensor rewiring job. Upon arrival, was told it would be $125, and that $49 is for doing the estimate itself! Their language is very ambiguous. Most other businesses do free estimates and gave me a direct charge for something so straightforward and quick. Worse yet, the person left without putting what they took apart together again. Horrible! I'm disappointed they wouldn't try to work something out with me. I luckily found somone else to come out a hour later for a price in the middle. read more

They showed up on time, they were very nice and very knowledgeable!!!!! Not only did they fix our gate controller then they helped me program both vehicles to open both gates!!!! They didn't ask for extra payment for helping with the programming of the vehicles and when i payed them a little extra they pointed out it was more then I owed which made me feel even better about giving a little extra!!!!!! I had a mysterious beeping in my garage for a few weeks and after exhausting many efforts to solve the problem I reached out Level 10 to see if there was a problem with the battery in my recently installed garage door opener. They promptly arrived prepared to replace the battery. However, the beeping was not from my garage door opener!! The Service personnel promptly offered to help try and locate the noise that was echoing all over the garage. After a cursory look around they were as puzzled as I had been after weeks of scouring the garage. Just as they were leaving, they happened to notice something in a basket that had been sitting out in the open...an old smoke alarm! I felt so foolish. I must have moved that basket a dozen times in my search and never noticed it, nor had the beeping seemed to be emanating from there, but that was in fact the culprit. Needless to say I appreciate their efforts to go the extra mile to support a customer! I'll be sure to recommend Level 10 if the opportunity arises. P.S. What a difference it makes to work with a professional organization with qualified technicians. Several months back, I had a spring break on my roll-up door. I had hired a different company to do the repair. They botched the job and a couple of weeks later came out and did an inadequate repair which failed a couple of days ago. After spending a couple of days scheduling them, their technician came out today and insisted that the problem was unrelated to their previous repairs. He wanted me to pay almost $500 more for this repair. I made it clear that I wasn't paying them any more money and started looking for alternatives. Level 10 responded promptly, provided a good price up front (close to half what the other guy wanted) and dispatched a crew immediately. The crew that showed up seemed to consist of a senior technician and a trainee, but both seemed competent and efficient. From first contact to repair completed was just under 2 hours. I bought a Genie brand of a door opener and just need this company to just install it for me. The handyman kept on asking me to buy another brand, a LiftMaster from him. I guess they get commission from LiftMaster. I checked the model he was trying to sell me and compared with the model I bought. I find out the model I bought was much better. I decided to keep my original plan. This Handyman was not concentrating on his job. He talked on the phone, joked and laughed a lot during the work. After the installation, he could not even make it up and running. He had to call someone to walk him through. After he left, I found out he missed one screw on an important area, see photo. I called them, Omar, the owner, refused to fix it for me. He argued that it didn't require to have all 4 screws on, missing one was fine etc. I disagree, it is important to have all screws on. This is a supporting area. I will put it on myself to make it safer. This company is NOT responsible. I will NOT recommend anyone to hire them. read more

We had a very old solid 15-foot garage door with the original old hardware. My wife closed the garage door as she was backing out the suv which sent the door off the rails. L10 tech came out quickly and got a damaged garage door into a locked, closed position. Technician was helpful and friendly. Followed up with a full quote for the door and kept in touch during the next 2 weeks, quoting both a new door and a repair option (replace 3 panels instead of all 4), which was $2000 cheaper.
