We had a reservation at 7:00pm and arrive on time, but we did not get seated until 7:25. We then waited for our food for an hour and a half after ordering. We got the drinks we ordered while waiting comped for the trouble but it was still very disappointing. After about an hour our server came to say "5 more minutes" for your food, which then was 25 minutes until we saw him or any food. Mind you at this point most of the restaurant is empty since it was almost 9:00pm. We came for a graduation dinner based off of reviews and safe to say that was not a good decision since the food wasn't even worth it. Basic pasta and the calzone was horrible. Cute place but will not be returning.

Had not been to Mazzi's for about 2-3 years as it has slipped. Well, Mazzi's is definitely back and as good as it used to be! Hostess greeted us and was friendly and got us right to our table. Our server, Brett, was first class and knew his job and showed. All the food was beyond amazing and the rolls.....WOW! Prices were fair for the quality of food, service and ambience. Establishment was spotless as was the restroom. Will I be back and recommending? You better believe it!

The ambience was great, very dark and deep feeling with nice mood lighting and some eclectic decor. our waiter was super super sweet and provided great services every pasta dish was great. the stuffed mushrooms were also so rich and delish! all in all a great experience and i would love to come back!

I got the Caesar salad and the chicken Alfredo or I think it was called fettuccine, it was delicious! The staff are very nice and the service in total was amazing and friendly. Food was great, and to end the night we got a root beer float

Keep note to maybe let the pizza sit a couple minutes because they are piping hot! Even if you aren't hungry, come here for the beers and craft cocktails. However, the crust was way too thin toward the middle of the pizza to even hold the toppings. It just flopped over. It was maybe a mm thick?? Toward the outer half of the circle, the dough was good consistency and quite delicious. The arugula salad was nice. With some orange slices and lots of cubes of beets, pickled red onions and sunflower seeds. Too much oil in the lemon vinaigrette IMO since it all tasted a bit oily. The beers were excellent. Service good (order at counter and they will bring it to you). Parking in the neighborhood, a bit sketchy.

I was enticed by the pictures of fresh salads and wood fired pizzas. We ended up getting a few pizzas, a couple different pastas. They were all so flavorful (not salty) the texture of the gnocchi was so soft and absorbed the flavorful sauce. We were all blown away. We used QR to order, and were advised to order in waves. For driving many hours, I liked that the atmosphere was casual, but it still looked modern and nice.

The pasta was a nice al dente and had a good coat of sauce. Despite the restaurant being fairly busy, the food came relatively quickly! The restaurant has limited tables, so expect a wait! All and all, Osteria DOP was a great experience! I will be back to try out more items from their menu.

And Track Town Pizza... well, that place doesn't just serve slices it serves time itself. Let me set the scene. I'm posted up at the Hayward Inn, a stone's throw from the sacred ground of Hayward Field. Every visit, no matter how many years pass, there's a ritual: lace up the memories, walk the same streets, and end up right where the legends linger under the warm lights of Track Town Pizza. You walk in, and there he is... Steve Prefontaine... staring down like he never left. Not just a photo more like a reminder. Now here's a little flavor for the soul: Track Town Pizza opened back in the late 1970s, built right in the heartbeat of what folks call "TrackTown USA." It became a hangout for runners, students, dreamers anybody chasing something. And yeah, over the years, plenty of local characters passed through bartenders, staff, regulars who became part of the story. Guys like Steve Fontaine? They weren't just pouring drinks they were part of the era, part of that gritty, analog Eugene vibe. We're talking decades back now roughly 30 to 40 years ago when this place felt like a clubhouse for the track-and-field faithful. But for me, this isn't just history it's personal. When I was younger, I didn't have much... but I could run. And like a lot of kids trying to find their lane in life, I found mine looking up to Prefontaine. The way he pushed, the way he talked "To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift." That stuck. Still does. So every time I walk into Track Town Pizza, it's not just about grabbing a slice it's like shaking hands with that younger version of myself. The kid who believed grit could take you somewhere. And let me tell you the pizza? Still hits like a victory lap. Old-school, no nonsense, loaded the way it should be. No gimmicks. Just honest, legendary pies that have fed generations of runners and late-night thinkers. So yeah... five stars doesn't even cut it. Because this place isn't just my favorite spot near campus it's a time machine. It's a shrine. It's a reminder that dreams don't die, they just wait for you to come back and visit. And every time I'm in Eugene, I do just that.

Like if the pizza gods held the Olympics and awarded gold medals for cheese, crust, and pure happiness, this place would sweep the podium. The crust? Perfect. The cheese? Glorious. The toppings? A majestic avalanche of deliciousness. One bite and I briefly considered moving to Eugene and building my entire life around being within a 3-minute radius of this pizza. Honestly, if aliens landed tomorrow and demanded to know the pinnacle of human achievement, I'd skip the pyramids and just hand them a slice from Track Town Pizza.
