Wentz brothers were also timely, clean and kept in great communication with us throughout the project. I highly recommend this company.

Wentz came highly recommended by another contractor who did our upstairs ceilings. The estimate was very reasonable for what we wanted done--all of the hardwood in 3 rooms, an upstairs hall and the steps to the second level. On an early Monday morning Tom showed and we went over the final request, agreeing on some additional work. Since I pulled up the carpet and tack strips and yanked the tacks (took about 7 hours of my time) Tom agreed to do the additional work with no additional charge (he originally was going to deduct my time from his estimate. After our agreement, my wife and I left for a week in the Poconos (too much dust would appear from the sanding; the floor coverings had their associated odor; and we wouldn't have been able to navigate around the home). When we came home we were awe-struck--it was like Ty Pennington's "Extreme Home Makeover"; however, unfortunately for Tom, he wasn't here on the Sunday of our return to experience our excitement and pleasure with the looks of the "new" floors; they are gorgeous and the additional work that Tom completed made them all the better. Tom has photos and, since he seems as proud of his work as we are pleased with the end result, I am certain that he will share them if asked. Wentz brothers did an outstanding job and are HIGHLY recommend. Posted by Charles Wysocki.

Installed new stair treads and rebuilt some of stairs that required it. He also gave us some ideas on work we whaving done by others contractors. He was great to work with. I can't believe it has taken me 6 months to give a review because I was truly pleased with his work.

Stop right here. Look nowhere else. I have done the legwork for you!…read more In 2018 we had Steve and at least 5 other contractors come out to give us a quote on our kitchen remodel. After meeting Steve, there was an authenticity about him that none of the other contractors possessed. Every question that we asked him, he was up front, honest and listened intently to our wants and needs. After receiving many quotes, unfortunately then, we knew we had to save up before we could afford to have our kitchen done. Fast forward to the end of 2019 and we were ready to take the plunge! We knew that Steve was our guy. We gave him a call, he came back out several times to take measurements, design, etc. We had a start date of March 2020. Surprise... COVID! Everything was in limbo and we decided it was best to wait. Finally come August 3rd, 2020 Steve and his helper started demo work. Our final completion date was mid October. During construction time, I had two other friends getting their kitchens done as well. The horror stories they told me of their contractors being late, not being honest, charging more than what the contract stated, etc. had my husband and I feel like we hit the jackpot finding Steve. Many contractors now a days sub everything out and don't lift a finger. Not this guy! He is there every day, doing the work, and is passionate about his craft. He is meticulous and will not cut corners, leaving you a project that you are proud of. Steve is arguably the hardest working human my husband and I have ever met. When you hire Steve, you don't just get a contractor, you get a friend...that turns into family. My husband, my two children and I fell in love with Steve. He brought us joy daily during the two months he was with us and has become part of our extended family. We miss seeing him frequently, but now get to enjoy the work he did on our home daily. All of our friends and family that have walked into our home think we hired a high end contractor and designer for our project. We hired an expert handyman - the name says it all. Expert work at a fair price. Future customers, you can thank me later. ;)

I felt very comfortable with him and his father working in my home while I was out of town and at work. My only complaint was that there was dust all over my apartment after the demolition. Mike kindly offered a credit for a cleaning service to help remedy that, which I appreciated. The tiling came out great, I would definitely hire Mike again!

I've held off leaving a review until he finished my second project because he's a hidden gem. Once people realize how talented he is, you'll have to join a waiting list to hire him. Mike possesses a true mastery of his craft. I know a lot of people that would do a good job as long as there are no surprises. Mike will do an excellent job no matter the circumstances because he's probably seen it before and knows how to fix it. He has the confidence and knowledge to walk into a room and get to work. He's not going to call his manager or google the next step. He is the manager; he is the go-to guy. Secondly, he has a good eye for design too. For my vestibule, I had an idea of what I want. I explained it in my layman's terms and hazy descriptions and he saw what I was envisioning. I didn't need to over-explain it or draw a picture. He just got it. Also, and more importantly, he's honest. He gave me an estimate and stuck to it. That never happens. Anyone else would have charged extra when they discovered the subfloor was rotted, or when they saw a 10 degree slope in the corner. Mike didn't. He stuck to what he said and even fixed a few wall tiles in the kitchen - no charge. Not to mention, his prices are a bargain. People with half his skill, wanted a whole lot more. Lastly, he's a friendly guy. I know it can feel awkward having a stranger in your home. Not with Mike. He's trustworthy, down to earth, and you'll be friends in no time.
