All of these reviews are very old. Give this place a go. I am from Los Angeles and my experience here was great. THE MENUDO WAS FRESH AND FLAVORFUL. Salsa amazing. Beans and rice amazing. Will return for another meal asap.

Came in after enjoying the Penelton Round up We were hungry and thirsty!! We got great service!! Our drinks were brought right away. As was our chips/ salsa. The chips were good. Not warm, but good. The salsa was nicely flavored, with big fresh chunks of onions, tomatoes, and cilantro. The only downside is the tiny cups they serve it in. The michalada was tasty- no complaints there!! The burrito was mostly all rice, 2 little bites of chicken, and not much bean in It either. Also there was a strange bitter taste to the whole burrito.

    Entrance, under current circumstances.

Quality food at a very reasonable prices. Well-stuffed chicken chimichanga was centerpiece of a filling meal. Hubby's enchilada, taco, tamale combo was more than even he could eat.

Should have heeded the advice from previous Yelpers as they were spot on. The waitress (probably the owner's wife) seemed as though she would rather have been at the dentist... flat, unexcited, I watched her walk away from a table while the customers were still speaking to her. Service speed was fine and she did actually offer to refill our salsa. The best part about the food was the price, $5 for a lunch combo plate is great deal. Other than the rice however, everything they served was Old El Paso straight from the can. Absolutely nothing homemade, authentic, or containing character. I guess on the plus side, that makes it pretty hard to mess up. What they do do right is the decor and signage. Lots of color and well done graphics shows that they are skilled in at least one area. Proximity to schools, Pendelton Roundup, and a prominent corner location will ensure their continued mediocre existence.

Although the lunch experience wasn't horrible, I likely won't patronize this establishment again. We loved the restaurant's decorations and overall feel; the male waiter was friendly; the drinks and food were served timely; the orchata & margarita were VERY tasty; and the food was decent (he was happier with the high quality ground beef in his meal than I was with the vegetarian burrito.) Interestingly, though, we were not checked on once during our meal, and he was offered a refill on his margarita AFTER I was already packing items in the to go boxes. (I slurped that orchata down before I was halfway through the meal, and I would have loved a refill had I seen someone to ask!)

Not sure why but Yelp didn't catch the change in name. For past several months the restaurant is…read morenow " Los Chilaquiles." I ordered chips, salsa and guacamole as my SOP when eating at a Mexican restaurant for the first time. All were very good although I suspect the guacamole is commercially made. Went with their specia"Combo 2 Amigos" - tender bite-sized pork in a red (Colorado) sauce and a green ( Verde) sauce with rice and beans served with choice of flour or corn tortillas. Flavorful, served hot and I would order again. Service was with a great smile and attentive. Ambiance was typical of a Mexican restaurant but roomy with lots of room. While I was there I felt like I was an "outsider" as many local couples and families were there. Will try again on next trip through.

For some reason they had a sign on their door that read, "No alcohol, sorry for the inconvenience" The reason I can only give 3 stars is that the tortilla soup I ordered was not very good. The chicken tasted like it had been in the refrigerator too long and was about to go bad. They also needed to cut the chicken into smaller pieces. There was so much cheese in the soup that you could barely use your spoon.

Ok, front makes it seem like a secret…read more.... Once you step in, just relax! Atmosphere is calming, but loud! I Loved it. Day of the Dead themed! Great decor! Great ambience! Amazing Food! I had the Carne Asada Tacos! Skirt Steak cut perfectly, and charred just right! Tender Juicy and not too Chewy! Marinated in Lime juice, and aromatic seasonings! The smells and the flavor was bursting! Topped it with a Habanero sauce that was so smooth and not mouth burning so you could taste everything! The Margaritas aren't overpowering with sweetness or bitterness. Just right with a dash of Tajin! Took my mom out and she had a great time. The service from Joe as usual absolutely perfect! First time meeting him but read comments of his other establishment. The menu is on the wall! No paper menu! It's small, but you won't and can't pass up great Taco's and it doesn't have to be Tuesday! QR Code menu also on Bar and Tables!

It's kind of confusing at this point, to be honest. Adding to the confusion is we went to Joe's Fiesta looking for chips and a beer, and he sent us next door to his new bar, Mi Tributo. Next door, we ordered drinks and asked for chips and were told, "We're trying to be traditional, so the only snacks you can order are tacos." I just ate lunch, I don't want tacos, I was hoping for chips and salsa. Drinks are super expensive, with a margarita (and not a large one at that) setting us back $11.95 and a 1 oz pour of house tequila costing me $10.95. No snacks, overpriced drinks; I'm not going back. I hope they figure out what they want to be.
