Two Al Pastor and one Choriqueso Taco
Snack Attack A.

BEST TACOS. 500%. We eat tacos when touring the United States as often as we can. Almost daily, at places big and small, coast to coast. We can, collectively report, that these are officially our number one favorite tacos we have ever had in the US. We forgot we were in Pendleton for a minute. Everything was so flavorful and moist. Meats all cooked to perfection; we tried Al Pastor, Choriqueso, Adobada, Pollo, and Carne Asada. Tacos were what you'd expect for ingredients with a delicious bonus of being topped with fresh grilled Walla Walla Onions... we were eating the straight up. No one left any on their plate. Walla Walla Burrito is absolutely ridiculous. Like a Mexican BLT or something, just a completely satisfying burrito start to finish. Also- the service was great! Very friendly and helpful. We were heading east on i84 and decided to give it a shot based on yelp; SO GLAD WE DID. Officially will return any chance we are passing by Pendleton. Thank you Chimu's!

Great burrito stop on the way across country

Good service , clearly small business family, burritos as large as a small child so bring a car seat for to go orders

This place is great! On road-trips, my family seeks out Mexican food trucks because they usually have gluten-free options (with corn tortillas and masa-based items). Chimus was exceptionally delicious. My son had the 3 enchilada combo with beans of rice. I had an asada taco--- it had the perfect amount of onions & cilantro. I also had an asada sope--- it was also much better than average. My husband had an asada torta (not gluten-free). It was big and really good. My family is not celiac so I can't speak to cross-contamination but Chimus is perfect for those of us who are gluten-intolerant.

Fantastic Mexican food at a reasonable price. We always stop here when we travel between Boise and Portland.

My husband had the mulita and I had a sopa. Both were excellent. We will definitely come back.

Ok, front makes it seem like a secret…read more.... Once you step in, just relax! Atmosphere is calming, but loud! I Loved it. Day of the Dead themed! Great decor! Great ambience! Amazing Food! I had the Carne Asada Tacos! Skirt Steak cut perfectly, and charred just right! Tender Juicy and not too Chewy! Marinated in Lime juice, and aromatic seasonings! The smells and the flavor was bursting! Topped it with a Habanero sauce that was so smooth and not mouth burning so you could taste everything! The Margaritas aren't overpowering with sweetness or bitterness. Just right with a dash of Tajin! Took my mom out and she had a great time. The service from Joe as usual absolutely perfect! First time meeting him but read comments of his other establishment. The menu is on the wall! No paper menu! It's small, but you won't and can't pass up great Taco's and it doesn't have to be Tuesday! QR Code menu also on Bar and Tables!

Mi Tribute opened as kind of a sister establishment to Joe's Fiesta. It has a Dia de Muertos vibe…read moreto it with all the related accoutrements, but also seems to be trying for a Mexican restaurant thing with the blaring music and dark wood furnishings. It's kind of confusing at this point, to be honest. Adding to the confusion is we went to Joe's Fiesta looking for chips and a beer, and he sent us next door to his new bar, Mi Tributo. Next door, we ordered drinks and asked for chips and were told, "We're trying to be traditional, so the only snacks you can order are tacos." I just ate lunch, I don't want tacos, I was hoping for chips and salsa. Drinks are super expensive, with a margarita (and not a large one at that) setting us back $11.95 and a 1 oz pour of house tequila costing me $10.95. No snacks, overpriced drinks; I'm not going back. I hope they figure out what they want to be.
