Food: we had a party of 7 and it was about 8:30PM and they closed at 9PM so we arrived a little late ish. We wanted to order an assortment of items however the restaurant was out of rice, avocados and fried ice cream... it was super disappointing. Well considering where it is, how hot it was, and who I was with... we had fun and enjoyed some good food and excellent service. YELP Short Answer - Yes for sure indoor seating but it is hot, so outdoor may be a better option if there is no AC. Location: Downtown with lots of parking option, very nice location. Buildout: Nothing bad to say other than it was just okay. I believe on our visit it was 90 degrees inside so rather uncomfortable and aromatic if you know what I mean. We sat outside and it was hot but better than inside. Menu: Pretty standard about what I expected, good choices. Food Prep: Nicely done, and a surprise as all of our meals looked like someone cared as much about the ascetics as they did the flavor. Food Quality: Excellent well cooked, good seasoning, great to taste. Warning the salsa was firecracker hot glad I had a margarita nearby. Ordered Carne Asada, large portion, huge plate, finished half so order down or share. Waitstaff: Fun, nothing fancy here but very nice people working hard and well tipped, they deserved it. Value: Yes it was there, i'd say a great value watching everyone working so hard and all having that can-do attitude serving outdoors when it was 100 plus in the shade. This local gem is located just 5 mins off of the highway and for a good sit down meal, it's worth it! I had the fiesta steak burrito and it was to die for. I had the chicken mole. It was pretty good. A bit sweeter than I was expecting, but that's's okay. Also, it was not a whole chicken breast, it was shredded into small pieces . My only complaint is that the portion was fairly small. I was the only person in the restaurant until I was about to leave. Nice atmosphere. read more

Once we got seated it took over 10 min to even get acknowledged and it wasn't even by our waitress, if they even have sections because it seemed like all employees were just wondering around. I let one person's "bad" experience keep from going here and I totally regret it. It may not be our "go to" date night spot, but it's definitely top 10. Great location (parking can sometimes be a challenge), great menu, and great customer service. We like to come in on Fridays after shopping at the Farmer's Market. There is a bar next door owned by the same owner, but we haven't tried it yet. read more

The food and service is good but I can't say it is great. More Americanized than I prefer. Tamales were dry and needed salsa to provide moist and flavor. Nice fine in downtown Pendleton. Food was saucy but not too spicy. Margaritas was strong but well made. They were very busy. The service was rushed but that's to be expected with the volume they see. Traveling through. The Pork Chili Verde burrito was excellent! Tender pork topped by a flavorful Chile Verde sauce. Highly recommended.

I am passing through Pendleton and chose to eat here. It seems like the locals like this restaurant so maybe to them it is good especially with having very few restaurants to choose from and being predominantly white. But if you're just passing through and you are used to good Mexican food then you will probably be disappointed here. Everything tasted old and bland I dont know what it was but I found it difficult to even swallow the few bites I took. Flavors were good, smells were right, cleanliness was good, staff was attentive and active. Had the fiesta steak, never had a 4 ounce steak before, good flavor gone in four bites. All the visuals were present for a stereotype restaurant, but they did manage to excel in the food department, specifically the chili relleno. Not sure where they sourced the flavors from, but they managed to updo the entree plate and the side order. Good flavor, good size. Not your usual relleno. No horchata or jamaicca, no flan, menu kinda limited. All that being said, for a sit down dinner, a date, or a business meet up, thumbs up. If you're looking for next level, you won't be disappointed, but you'll need to keep looking. They lost the star cause horchata and flan are necessities. read more

Great atmosphere and lots of seating, indoor and out. My husband and I sat inside at a spacious booth, festive tiles and brought colors are the theme. Chips, corn salsa, and salsa as and appetizer with a pitcher of water on this hot day. I order an enchilada plate and my husband a combo, big portions. I got a modeling especial and my husband a michelada, everything was pretty great except the waitress too forever to fake our order and to deliver every course. The restaurant is very warm and welcoming with lots of different decor to look at while you dine. The service wasn't very good. They didn't check back after providing the meal. We had a split plate and they didn't bring the extra plate as requested. Joe's was the first restaurant we got to go into as covid restrictions were being lifted. The service was amazing! They were only seating half the tables but they were Turing the tables over quickly and they were super friendly while we waited for a table and through our whole meal. The food was good. We entered an empty restaurant with a different party of about 5. They were seated first and we were seated immediately after them. We waited about 10 minutes before the server brought our chips, slaw and salsa and then about another 10 minutes before our order was taken. The chips were good, but the slaw and the salsa were loaded with cilantro, which I hate. When a possible 14% of the population can't tolerate salsa, why won't restaurants just bring a side dish of cilantro to sprinkle over everything they want that shit on? No matter how hard I try, cilantro will NEVER be my friend. I made sure to order something I knew wouldn't include cilantro - a chile relleno and a cheese enchilada with rice and beans. Everything was delicious. My husband loved his carne asada. We have enough food for two more meals The margarita was good, but nothing to write home about. read more

Highly recommend. Salsa seems to be homemade only sometimes, which is ideal, but everything else is always consistent and great.

I stopped here because it was close up my motel and recommended by the motel staff. The first thing I noticed was that the name is actually Joe's Fiesta, not La Fiesta. The salsa was unlike any I've ever had. After the first two bites the spice and flavor really kicked in. My strawberry margarita was delish. Food was decent atmosphere was off and owner Joe was rude I inquired about adding an extra meat to my burrito nothing crazy just chicken and shrimp he said he was unable to do so must have been too complicated he seemed upset that I was confused as to why not but it's fine just ordered shrimp. When I was asked about payment I asked how much was our tab but he said you'll see once I put your card in. Guy really is a piece of work don't recommend try something more authentic he uses the "fiesta" and ethnic paintings as a lure nothing about him is and he states that a few times if your looking for Mexican food this isn't it.
