Fajita Mix with chicken, steak & shrimp.

Food: we had a party of 7 and it was about 8:30PM and they closed at 9PM so we arrived a little late ish. We wanted to order an assortment of items however the restaurant was out of rice, avocados and fried ice cream... it was super disappointing. Ambiance: it's a decent sized restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating.

Well considering where it is, how hot it was, and who I was with... we had fun and enjoyed some good food and excellent service. YELP Short Answer - Yes for sure indoor seating but it is hot, so outdoor may be a better option if there is no AC. Location: Downtown with lots of parking option, very nice location. Buildout: Nothing bad to say other than it was just okay. I believe on our visit it was 90 degrees inside so rather uncomfortable and aromatic if you know what I mean. We sat outside and it was hot but better than inside. Menu: Pretty standard about what I expected, good choices. Food Prep: Nicely done, and a surprise as all of our meals looked like someone cared as much about the ascetics as they did the flavor. Food Quality: Excellent well cooked, good seasoning, great to taste. Warning the salsa was firecracker hot glad I had a margarita nearby. Ordered Carne Asada, large portion, huge plate, finished half so order down or share. Waitstaff: Fun, nothing fancy here but very nice people working hard and well tipped, they deserved it. Value: Yes it was there, i'd say a great value watching everyone working so hard and all having that can-do attitude serving outdoors when it was 100 plus in the shade. For sure worth a visit if you're in town, it is nothing fancy by perfect.

My half eaten but can't wait to rave about fiesta steak burrito! Delicious!

A great Mexican Restaurant! Joe is a congenial friendly proprietor that goes out of his way to get to know his customers.

The food was good, the service wasn't the best. I don't want to be the guy that says "what do you expect in a small town" but...

Traveling through. The Pork Chili Verde burrito was excellent! Tender pork topped by a flavorful Chile Verde sauce. Highly recommended.

This was ok Mexican food. They ran out of rice and gave us french fries as a replacement. Their drinks seemed to be a little weak as well.

Highly recommend. Salsa seems to be homemade only sometimes, which is ideal, but everything else is always consistent and great.

Not sure why but Yelp didn't catch the change in name. For past several months the restaurant is…read morenow " Los Chilaquiles." I ordered chips, salsa and guacamole as my SOP when eating at a Mexican restaurant for the first time. All were very good although I suspect the guacamole is commercially made. Went with their specia"Combo 2 Amigos" - tender bite-sized pork in a red (Colorado) sauce and a green ( Verde) sauce with rice and beans served with choice of flour or corn tortillas. Flavorful, served hot and I would order again. Service was with a great smile and attentive. Ambiance was typical of a Mexican restaurant but roomy with lots of room. While I was there I felt like I was an "outsider" as many local couples and families were there. Will try again on next trip through.

For some reason they had a sign on their door that read, "No alcohol, sorry for the inconvenience" The reason I can only give 3 stars is that the tortilla soup I ordered was not very good. The chicken tasted like it had been in the refrigerator too long and was about to go bad. They also needed to cut the chicken into smaller pieces. There was so much cheese in the soup that you could barely use your spoon.

I had the Carne Asada Tacos! Skirt Steak cut perfectly, and charred just right! Tender Juicy and not too Chewy! Marinated in Lime juice, and aromatic seasonings! The smells and the flavor was bursting! Topped it with a Habanero sauce that was so smooth and not mouth burning so you could taste everything! The Margaritas aren't overpowering with sweetness or bitterness. Just right with a dash of Tajin! Took my mom out and she had a great time. The service from Joe as usual absolutely perfect! First time meeting him but read comments of his other establishment. The menu is on the wall! No paper menu! It's small, but you won't and can't pass up great Taco's and it doesn't have to be Tuesday! QR Code menu also on Bar and Tables!

It has a Dia de Muertos vibe…read moreto it with all the related accoutrements, but also seems to be trying for a Mexican restaurant thing with the blaring music and dark wood furnishings. It's kind of confusing at this point, to be honest. Adding to the confusion is we went to Joe's Fiesta looking for chips and a beer, and he sent us next door to his new bar, Mi Tributo. Next door, we ordered drinks and asked for chips and were told, "We're trying to be traditional, so the only snacks you can order are tacos." I just ate lunch, I don't want tacos, I was hoping for chips and salsa. Drinks are super expensive, with a margarita (and not a large one at that) setting us back $11.95 and a 1 oz pour of house tequila costing me $10.95. No snacks, overpriced drinks; I'm not going back. I hope they figure out what they want to be.
