Never had a problem here. Food always good with good service. Prices are more than reasonable.

The food is always solid at la Ramada but if you get sat down expect garbage service. You hardly get greated when you walk in. Only the tall guy server knows what's going on and is respectful. I've tried serval times over about 2 years and consistently leave frustrated. From grease splattering all over the table and onto a nice shirt I had on from the fajitas. To getting the nastiest look and dismissive attitude when we ask for the 2nd time for a lime for our drink. You won't get a refill unless you wave someone down. I hope something changes but over the years it hasn't. read more

My wife and I ate here for the first time. The restaurant is clean and beautifully decorated, service was fast and the food was delicious at a reasonable price. I got the fajita combo and my wife got the vegetable crema. Both were excellent. I knocked down one star because the chips and salsa needed a bit of salt--was a bit bland--but the food was well seasoned. read more

Let's start off with the positive comments. The interior is very clean. The staff is pleasant. Background music was standard Mexican music with the singers hanging on to one note endlessly at the end of each stanza. Now let me get to the "meat" of it all. I've eaten at numerous places that feature this type of cuisine. Almost without exception The dishes are almost identical from one to another. Pollo Ala crema is one of my most favorite dishes and it is comprised of a milk ( or cream) sauce and chicken with very few spices. My first visit here this is what I ordered. I got the distinct impression that the house was low in pollo because there was cooked cauliflower in this dish. The appearance was ok, but the taste was way off. Not good I thought to myself. Then three nights later we went back in for dinner and I ordered a three entree meal of 1 traco, and one each of a enchilada and a tamale. The tamale was filled with some sort of breading- I have no idea what, but the other two were ok. The appearance though was disgusting. The tamale and enchilada looked like fingers cutoff a corpse, then stewed in a tomato base sauce. It was disgusting to look at and the taste didn't improve anything. My advice? Keep driving- don't bother to stop! read more

I ordered Hirchata and Pollo ala Crema. The drink was great - like liquid rice pudding! But, the dish was a disappointment. The cream sauce was broken and the chicken dry. The veggies I was so pleased about where a bit undercooked. I like al dente, but the bell pepper was still pretty raw. I liked the beans- standard fare, and the salsa has a good flavor and a nice bite. No drink refills, not even on soda; they serve Pepsi products. Might eat here again - mom got tres amigos and enjoyed it thoroughly, but I won't get this, a favorite dish, again. read more

Worst Customer service ever--BEWARE! Ordered take out and once home, it was the wrong meal--with something I'm highly allergic to. Called and was told to bring the meal back. Once there, the staff wanted to argue about it and wouldn't replace it. So why did they say to bring it back? I am out for food and gas money. I will NEVER go back to this place and will make sure I tell everyone I know to avoid it as well. While traveling, We stopped here because it was the first restaurant we came to when we were hungry. The food was fantastic, the portions were huge for the price, and the service was friendly. I do not eat meat and they had a nice selection of meatless options (most of these options had cheese) but it was far better than my usual issue of asking to replace the meat with beans. We were there about an hour before closing so it wasn't to crowded, but we were well taken care of by the wait staff. read more

First, I discovered that the restaurant's real name is La Ramada (not La Casita) as listed in Yelp. Second, I have eaten several times here and each time was seated within 30 seconds of arrival by a friendly hostess. Chips, salsa, and pico de gallo all arrived again seconds. The menu is very complete and the food is served quickly, hot, and delicious. There is also a large selection of vegetarian entrees on the menu . Beautifully decorated, La Ramada is a restaurant I continue to return to and invite friends to experience. Conveniently located on Hwy 11 on the right side just past Safeway. Grande! read more
