So glad we wandered upon this Mexican oasis! It's an order at the counter then they deliver to your table type of setting. Very clean inside, the staff was constantly cleaning. It was beautiful and colorful inside. Plenty of seating! The staff is amazing! So friendly, and very helpful if you want food recommendations. We ordered fresh made guacamole and chips, battered fish tacos, fresh rolled chicken taquitos, and bean/cheese tacos. Tortillas are fresh and homemade. The chips were delicious light and crispy with the perfect touch of salt, so good you didn't even need to dip them in anything. Guacamole was out of this world The food presentation is amazing. I used to live in Mexico and this brought back memories of amazing authentic food you could only find in Mexico. The horchata is made in house and we loved it! When they serve the food they also bring 3 HUGE bottles of green salsa, red salsa, and avocado salsa to smother your food in! The food doesn't need it but still just another amazing service they provide. Walla Walla has so many amazing restaurants and this one is right up there. Go to this place! You won't regret it! SO MUCH YUM. I have been here several times and I have YET to find something that I do not like. Their tortillas and chips are made fresh in house. Their tortillas (used in all of their tacos, enchiladas, chips, etc) is amazing! If you're a taco person, they have a wide range of tacos. Their carne asada tacos are always good if you eat meat. If you're into enchiladas, I definitely recommend getting an enchilada plate with steak enchiladas--it comes with rice and beans. If you want a bowl, it's pretty much like a salad from Chipotle--comes with your choice of meat (or veggie option), rice, beans, and lettuce. For vegetarians, they have SEVERAL options for you. For tacos alone, they have like 7 different taco options for you. Their fruit drinks are also delicious! While the tacos are always good here, My favorite order so far has been the enchilada plate which comes with 2 enchiladas, beans and rice. The sauce they use for their enchiladas is AMAZING. I also love the look and vibe of the place. It isn't too dressed up to look like a fancy restaurant. It looks simple and authentic, just like something I would find if I went to Mexico. First thoughts were this is a chill spot. It was empty when I came for lunch. Loved the variety of options on the menu. Not so many but enough to know it's made fresh. Nothing like a spot with 100 things on the menu and most of not freshly made so I loved their menu. Service guy was polite and efficient. Offered options for drinks and food. + Place was clean Wall decor is vibrant and welcoming Food! I was told to order their mulitas or bowls but bring a chef I had to start with the basic order at a Mexican place. Tacos Salsas we're good. They offer red verde and aguacate salsa. This restaurant is pretty good and super affordable! The menu has a good variety of dishes (i.e., tacos, burritos, tortas, and more) and alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks. We got takeout and it took a little longer than expected, but the food was still warm and tasty. I got the quesadilla gigante with carne asada, and it was really good with the crema and cotija cheese toppings. The califas torta was also tasty, and the portion size is huge. Between the four of us we Had several different and all yummy tacos (the tortillas are hand made and delicious). We all decided to have beans and rice and both were tasty and had the texture we were looking for. The salsa are all hand made And offered a good variety of different a heats and flavors. Counter service with a menu offering a range of ~11 omnivore and vegetarian (optionally vegan) fillings in taco, burrito, or quesadilla form. The taco tortillas are fresh, thick, and delicious (why you would order a burrito is beyond me). They have tortas, enchiladas, and plates with rice and beans as well as other specials, too. My favorite part was the salsa bar with three salsa options as well as some of the best grilled seasoned peppers 2nd only to a spot in East LA. Best Mexican restaurant in the Walla Walla Valley! By the numbers: Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Value: 5/5 Al pastor - Excellent. This is my new favorite al pastor taco anywhere in the world right now. Tinga mole - Excellent. Shredded chicken that was perfectly moist and an earthy chocolate mole with marinated onions. Hongos - Excellent. Savory mushrooms with sautéed onions, ave, and crema. Chicharrones - Okay. The texture of boiled pig skin no me gusta, but it might be your comfort food. The restaurant itself has a slightly awkward layout, but it all works. There is plenty of space for larger groups/families as well as smaller tables. It's bright and airy with nice decorative touches.
